Swords and Shields: Russia bets on PAK FA The Russian fifth-generation fighter is supposed
to make its first test flight this year.

Moscow continues to pursue a Sukhoi-based fifth-generation fighter. After five years of effort,
Russia finally found an international partner for the development project. In 2007 India
entered an agreement to jointly develop a fifth-generation fighter based on the Sukhoi.

The Sukhoi T-50 PAK FA -- standing for Advanced Frontline Aviation Aircraft System --
is a stealth-enabled fighter jet designed to compete with the American Lockheed Martin
F-35 Lightning Joint Strike Aircraft and the Lockheed Martin/Boeing F-22 Raptor.
Russian air force watchers already christened it "Raptorsky," after the F-22 Raptor,
with which it is supposed to compete.

The developers describe the T-50 PAK FA as having excellent maneuverability,
supersonic cruising speed, long range and high protective properties. PAK FA
will have a takeoff weight of 20 tons, which falls between the takeoff weight of
the two American competitor airplanes, the F-35 JSF (17.2 tons) and the F-22 (24 tons).

The new fighter -- a medium version -- will have a traditional wing form,
though the dramatic-looking reverse-delta wing of the Su-47 Berkut influenced
the Russian fighter's designers.

The Russian fifth-generation fighter is supposed to make its first test flight this year.
The testing dates have been postponed from the end of 2008, as had been previously
announced by Sergei Ivanov, the Russian deputy prime minister in charge of defense production.

Some Russian spokesmen promised deployment of the T-50 in 2013, but according to
the earlier statements by Sukhoi CEO Mikhail Pogosyan, the new Russian-Indian
fifth-generation fighter might enter mass production by 2015.

According to Russian sources, the Sukhoi T-50 PAK FA will incorporate technology
from the two experimental predecessors: the Su-47 and the MiG Project 1.44.

The flagships of the Russian aerospace technology -- Tekhnokompleks Scientific and
Production Center, Ramenskoye Instrument Building Design Bureau,
the Instrument Building Scientific Research Institute in Zhukovskiy,
the Ural'sk Optical and Mechanical Plant in Yekaterinburg, the Polet firm in Nizhniy Novgorod
and the Central Scientific Research Radio Engineering Institute in Moscow --
were selected to develop the avionics suite for the fifth-generation airplane.

NPO Saturn has been determined to lead the work on the engines. The Novosibirsk
Aviation Production Association has begun construction of the fifth-generation fighter
at its renowned Komsomol'sk-on-Amure Chkalov plant where most Sukhoi fighters are made.

However, considering the current economic recession and the track record of delayed
deadlines, the Russian fifth-generation fighter may stay on paper for a longer time.
This would give Washington and its allies sufficient time to launch mass production of
F-35s, deploy them on American bases and fulfill orders from international customers
such as Britain, the Netherlands and Israel.

The F-35 is expected to enter service no later than 2012, while the Russian Sukhoi
T-50 PAK FA is certain to be in mass production by that time.

The future may not be bright for the next generation of the Russian fighter.
Many Western defense experts believe Russia's fourth-generation fighter jets cannot
withstand the U.S. stealth-enabled tandem of F-35 and F-22, which offer high maneuverability
and near invisibility to surface radars because of advanced radar suppression equipment.
Moreover, U.S.-based simulations and tests suggest that the stealth-enabled fifth-generation
F-22 and F-35 can defeat any current aircraft, including the Raptorsky.

Marine Corps F-35 goes supersonic

F-35 Joint Strike Fighter short takeoff/vertical landing (STOVL) variant flew
faster than the speed of sound for the first time June 10,
achieving a significant milestone.

The aircraft accelerated to Mach 1.07 (727 miles per hour) on the first in
a long series of planned supersonic flights.

"For the first time in military aviation history, supersonic, radar-evading stealth
comes with short takeoff/vertical landing capability," said Bob Price,
Lockheed Martin's F-35 U.S. Marine Corps program manager.
"The supersonic F-35B can deploy from small ships and austere bases near front-line
combat zones, greatly enhancing combat air support with higher sortie-generation rates."
The F-35B will enter service for the Marines, the United Kingdom's Royal Air Force
and Royal Navy, and the Italian Air Force and Navy.

The supersonic milestone was achieved on the 30th flight of the F-35B known as BF-2.
U.S. Marine Corps pilot Lt. Col. Matt Kelly climbed to 30,000 feet and accelerated to
Mach 1.07 in the off-shore supersonic test track near Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
Future testing will gradually expand the flight envelope out to the aircraft's top speed
of Mach 1.6, which the F-35 is designed to achieve with a full internal weapons load of
more than 3,000 pounds. All F-35s are designed to launch internal missiles at maximum
supersonic speed, as well as launch internal guided bombs supersonically. During the flight,
Kelly accomplished 21 unique test points, including several Integrated Test Blocks to
validate roll, pitch, yaw and propulsion performance.

BF-2 is the third F-35 to achieve supersonic flight. Two F-35A conventional takeoff
and landing variants also have broken the sound barrier.

Three F-35 variants are under development – the F-35A CTOL variant to replace
U.S. Air Force F-16s and A-10s, as well as aircraft employed by seven allied nations;
the F-35B STOVL variant to replace U.S. Marine Corps AV-8B Harriers and F/A-18s,
U.K. Royal Air Force and Royal Navy Harrier GR.7s, GR.9s and Sea Harriers,
and Italian Harriers; and the F-35C carrier variant to replace U.S. Navy F/A-18s.

The F-35 is the result of the Defense Department's Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) program,
which sought to build a multirole fighter optimized for the air-to-ground role with
secondary air-to-air capability. The JSF requirement was to meet the needs of
the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and allies, with improved survivability,
precision engagement capability, and reduced life cycle costs. By using many of
the same technologies developed for the F-22, the F-35 has the opportunity to capitalize
on commonality and modularity to maximize affordability.

The Lockheed Martin X-35 was chosen over the competing Boeing X-32 primarily
because of Lockheeds lift-fan STOVL design, which proved superior to the Boeing
vectored-thrust approach. The lift fan, which is powered by the aircraft engine via
a clutched driveshaft, was technically challenging but DoD concluded that Lockheed
has the technology in hand. The lift fan has significant excess power which could be
critical given the weight gain that all fighter aircraft experience.

Lockheed Martin developed four versions of the Joint Strike Fighter to fulfill the needs
of the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Air Force and the United Kingdom Royal Air Force
and Navy. All versions have the same fuselage and internal weapons bay,
common outer mold lines with similar structural geometries, identical wing sweeps,
and comparable tail shapes. The weapons are stored in two parallel bays located aft
of the main landing gear. The canopy, radar, ejection system, subsystems,
and avionics are all common among all different version as is the core engine
which is based on the F119 by Pratt & Whitney.

Following the contract award, other nations signed up to the SDD phase are:
Australia, Canada, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Singapore and Turkey.

Additional systems on the F-35 include:

1. Northrup Grumman advanced electronically scanned array (AESA) multi-function radar
2. Snader/Litton Amecon electronic countermeasures equipment
3. Lockheed Martin electro-optical targeting system

After the F22 enterd Chinese air space, China's latest radar got it, and the signal is very bad.
So, PLA airforce send 2 J-10 to intercept. But the F22 didn't answer PLA airforce's warning,
continue flying to FuJian. PLA offcial afraid that F22 will attack ground,

American Christian Journal published an article written by Sandy Kemil,
the senior defense expert. The article implied that China's new X UAV
threat to the air supremacy of the United States in the East Asian region.

The article points out: according to some Chinese domestic media,
we have to suspect that the government is using high-tech products worth 120 million
U.S. dollars to perform poor dangerous and unforgivable tests.
We were ashamed of government’s concealing the fact that F22 is shot down.
And we hope that the Chinese Government can face up to the capacity of
local air-defense ring and do not do unnecessary waste, after all, we are risking
the lives of our pilots. While the opponent is the unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)
as taxpayers, we have the right to know that how our 3 million U.S. dollars is sprinkled
into the South China Sea. American aviation science and technology has been the best
for centuries, but it has never been like this before. The just emerging technology
is cracked immediately. But the American people are not easy to cope with.

in order to avoid possible attack to the ground resulting large-scale casualties in urban area,
the command ordered to open fire to destroy the out-of-control aircraft.
Two F-10 warplanes fired two air-to-air missile to shot down the F22,
the pilot landed safely after parachuting.

F22 fell near the southern suburbs of White Lake Pavilion, Fuzhou.
It was immediately surrounded by the PLA ground forces. No one was allowed to get into.
The pilot was taken away by the People's Liberation Army in the military vehicle.

The incident occurred as a result of a sudden, both China and the United States
blocked this message. According to previous reports of the Air Force network,
F22 has twice invaded the Chinese territorial air space. After a warning by the army,
it evacuated immediately. Why didn’t the F22 withdraw, but rapidly flied to Fuzhou?
It is worth studying.

In the Internet, there are witnesses saying thick smoke descending from an aircraft,
accompanied by explosion after crashing down. From the appearance, it is much like

According to the reports before, the People's Liberation Army fighter F7 crashed in Fuzhou.
However, according to the feedback from the Internet, this is not the aircraft of
the People's Liberation Army. Every crash of the People's Liberation Army,

And they take it as an excuse to ask for the F22 fighter from the Chinese side.
In addition, the insider added: for all the airports in Fujian's coastal areas are in
a sensitive period of military preparations to Taiwan. Therefore, the Chinese side did not agree
the U.S. military tanker aircraft to land in the airport in Fujian! Finally, they chose
a civilian airport in Sichuan Province to land.

สวัสดีครับ หลาย ๆ ท่านคงจะปฏิเสธไม่ได้ว่าปัจจุบันเรากำลังจะก้าวเข้าสู่ยุคสารสนเทศ (Information Age)
อย่างเต็มตัว เพราะการดำเนินการในเรื่องต่าง ๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นองค์กรภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน หรือ
องค์กรระหว่างประเทศต่าง ๆ ล้วนแต่ไม่พ้นการนำข้อมูลข่าวสารมาใช้ในการดำเนินการหรือแม้กระทั่ง
ช่วยเหลือในการตัดสินใจ ดังจะเห็นได้จากการบริโภคข้อมูลข่าวสารที่เพิ่มมากขึ้นของเราทุกคน
เพราะตั้งแต่ตื่นนอนจนกระทั่งเข้านอน คิดว่าทุกท่านคงยอมรับว่า เรามีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องบริโภค
ข้อมูลข่าวสารอยู่ตลอดเวลา ดังเช่น หลายคนจะต้องฟังข่าวการจราจรในตอนเช้าก่อนเดินทาง
หรือขณะที่จะเดินทางไปทำงาน หลายคนจะต้องฟังข่าวเศรษฐกิจเพื่อใช้เป็นแนวทางในการสั่ง
ซื้อขายหุ้น ก่อนที่ตลาดหุ้นจะเปิด หรือการรับฟังรายการวิเคราะห์ข่าวในรอบดึกก่อนที่จะเข้านอน ฯลฯ

ดังนั้นเมื่อสารสนเทศหรือข้อมูลข่าวสารมีความสำคัญยิ่งต่อการดำเนินชีวิต ความสามารถในการเข้าถึง
ข้อมูลจึงเป็นสิ่งสำคัญตามมา เพราะถ้าเราได้รับข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ไม่มีความถูกต้องและทันเวลาเราย่อม
เป็นผู้ที่เสียเปรียบหรือเสียโอกาสในเรื่องต่าง ๆ และเมื่อหลายฝ่ายต่างตระหนักถึงความสำคัญของ
ข้อมูลข่าวสาร การใช้การปิดบัง การซ่อนเร้น และ ความถูกต้องไม่บิดเบือน ของข้อมูลข่าวสาร
จึงเป็นประเด็นที่ได้รับความสนใจและเพ่งเล็งเป็นอย่างมาก เพราะมีโอกาสเป็นไปได้ที่บุคคล องค์กร
หน่วยงาน หรือแม้กระทั่งประเทศชาติ ต่างมีความพยายามที่จะเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ตนต้องการ
ให้มากที่สุดและป้องกันไม่ให้คู่แข่งหรือฝ่ายตรงข้ามเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสารที่สำคัญได้หรือถ้าเข้าได้
ก็จะเป็นข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ไม่มีความถูกต้องหรือทันเวลา

การดำเนินการที่จะรับประกันการเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ถูกต้องและทันเวลา รวมถึงการป้องกันไม่ให้
ฝ่ายตรงข้ามเข้าถึงข้อมูลข่าวสาร หรือ การให้ฝ่ายตรงข้ามได้รับข้อมูลที่มีความผิดพลาดบิดเบือน
เราจะเรียกการดำเนินการลักษณะนี้ว่า ปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศ (Information Operations)
หรือบางท่านอาจจะเรียกว่า การปฏิบัติการข้อมูลข่าวสาร

การปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศเป็นการดำเนินการที่เริ่มมาจากหน่วยงานทางความมั่นคงและมีการนำไป
ใช้งานอย่างแพร่หลายในหน่วยงานทางทหาร ดังจะเห็นได้จากประเทศสหรัฐ ฯ ได้มีการพัฒนา
หลักนิยม (Doctrine: หมายถึงหลักการและแนวคิดทางทหาร) เกี่ยวข้องกับการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศ
ซึ่งจะมีทั้งระดับเหล่าทัพ (กองทัพบก กองทัพเรือ กองทัพอากาศ และ นาวิกโยธิน) เช่น เอกสาร
Field Manual 3-13 Information Operations: Doctrine, Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures
(28 November 2003) ของกองทัพบกสหรัฐ ฯ และในระดับการปฏิบัติการร่วม (Joint Operations) ที่รวม
การปฏิบัติของเหล่าต่าง ๆ ของสองเหล่าทัพขึ้นไป เช่น เอกสาร Joint Publication 3-13 Joint Doctrine
for Information Operations (9 October 1988) ที่กล่าวถึงแนวทางการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศในทางทหาร

นอกจากเอกสารที่ระบุถึงแนวคิดในการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศแล้ว กองทัพสหรัฐ ฯ เอง
ยังมีการนำ การปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศมาใช้ควบคู่ไปกับการปฏิบัติการทางทหาร
ดังเช่น การให้รถถ่ายทอดสดของ สำนักข่าว CNN, FOX News และสำนักข่าวอื่น ๆ
อีกหลายสำนัก เคลื่อนที่ตามขบวนรบของกองกำลังสหรัฐ ฯ ในขณะที่ทำการบุกอิรัก
ในสงครามอ่าว ฯ ครั้งที่ 2 ภายใต้ชื่อ การปฏิบัติการปลดปล่อยชาวอิรัก
(Operation Iraqi Freedom) ในปี พ.ศ.2546 หรือ ความพยายามในการใช้ขีปนาวุธร่อนครุซย์
(Cruise Missile) ไล่ทำลายสถานีโทรทัศน์เคลื่อนที่ของอิรักหลายครั้งเพื่อยับยั้งการแพร่ภาพ
และข้อมูลข่าวสาร นอกเหนือจากกองทัพสหรัฐ ฯ ที่มีการนำหลักนิยมด้านปฏิบัติการ
สารสนเทศมาใช้แล้ว กองทัพของประเทศมหาอำนาจอย่างจีนเองก็มีการกำหนด
แนวความคิดทางด้านปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศเหมือนกัน ดังเช่น การตีพิมพ์ บทความชื่อ
Innovating and Developing Views on Information Operations โดย พล.ต. Qingmin Dai
ผู้บัญชาการ กรมสื่อสาร ของกองทัพปลดแอกประชาชนจีน
(The Chinese People's Liberation Army's: PLA's) ซึ่งเป็นหน่วยงาน ที่รับผิดชอบ
ทางด้าน Information Warfare และ Information Operations ในปี พ.ศ.2544 โดยในบทความ
ได้กล่าวถึง แนวคิดในเรื่อง Informationalized War และยังได้มีการให้คำจำกัดความของ
Information Warfare ในทัศนของจีน

ไม่เพียงแต่จะเป็นประเทศหรือรัฐเท่านั้นที่มีการตระหนักถึงการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศ
กลุ่มที่ไม่ใช่รัฐ (non-state) ยังมีการนำการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศมาใช้ ดังเช่น
กลุ่มอัลกออิดะห์ (Al-Qaida) ใช้ช่องทาง การเผยแพร่สารสนเทศผ่านสำนักข่าว อัล-จาซีรา
ซึ่งสำนักข่าวของชาวตะวันออกกลางเพื่อสร้าง สภาวะความหวาดกลัวตามแนวทางของการก่อการร้าย

ปัจจุบันการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศไม่ได้มีการปฏิบัติเฉพาะในทางทหารเท่านั้น แต่มีการนำมาใช้
ในกิจการด้านต่าง ๆ มากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น การดำเนินการในภาคธุรกิจ การดำเนินการ
ทางการเมืองภายในประเทศ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่ง ในระดับของความมั่นคงของชาติ
ดังเช่น การใช้เวบไซต์นำเสนอ ข้อมูลโจมตีการบริหารงานและการแก้ไขปัญหา
ใน 3 จังหวัดชายแดนภาคใต้ ของกลุ่มพูโล (PULO:Pattani United Liberation Organization)
การสร้างเวบไซต์หมิ่นพระบรมเดชานุภาพ การใช้เวบไซต์ในการให้ข้อมูลข่าวสาร
ในเชิงลบกับการปราบปรามยาเสพติดของไทย ที่กระทบกระทั่งกับกับชนกลุ่มน้อย
ในพม่าเมื่อหลายปีก่อน เป็นต้น

เมื่อกล่าวมาถึงตรงนี้หลายท่านอาจจะเข้าใจว่าการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศเป็น เรื่องของความมั่นคง
ระดับประเทศเท่านั้น แต่ความจริงแล้ว ปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศเป็นเรื่องที่อยู่รอบตัวเรา สามารถนำมา
ใช้ได้ตั้งแต่ระหว่างบุคคลต่อบุคคล ไปจนถึงระดับประเทศชาติต่อประเทศชาติ เช่น การส่งบัตรสนเท่ห์
โจมตีเพื่อนร่วมงาน การเปิดเวบไซต์โจมตีบุคคลหรือหน่วยงาน การสร้างกระแสให้เกิดความสับสน
ทางการเมืองผ่านเวบบอร์ด หรือ การใช้แฮกเกอร์โจมตีเวบใซต์หน่วยงานราชการโต้ตอบกันไปมา เช่น

การโต้ตอบระหว่างแฮกเกอร์สหรัฐ ฯ และจีนในกรณีที่เครื่องบินสอดแนม EP-3E
(Airborne Reconnaissance Integrated Electronic System II, ARIES II) บินเข้าไปในน่านน้ำของจีน
และถูกบังคับให้ลงจอดฉุกเฉินที่เกาะไหหลำ (Hainan) ในวันที่ 1 เม.ย.2544 หลังจากนั้น
ในวันที่ 1 – 8 พ.ค.2544 จีนได้เปิดสงครามแฮกเกอร์กับสหรัฐ ฯ ด้วยการใช้แฮกเกอร์เข้าไปแก้ไข
เวบไซต์หน่วยงานราชการสหรัฐ ฯ ด้วยการแสดงธงชาติจีนที่เวบไซต์นั้น และสหรัฐ ฯ ตอบโต้กลับ
เช่นเดียวกันกับเวบไซต์ของจีน

ดังนั้นถ้าจะกล่าวกันไปแล้วปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศนั้นไม่ได้มีอะไรใหม่นอกจาก การความพยายาม
ในการที่จะครอบครองข้อมูลข่าวสาร การใช้ข้อมูลข่าวสาร และการป้องกันข้อมูลข่าวสาร
แทนที่จะครอบครองสินทรัพย์ในแบบก่อน ๆ เพราะข้อมูลข่าวสารมีมูลค่าเพิ่มมากขึ้นในปัจจุบัน
จนสามารถกล่าวได้ว่า “สมัยก่อนใครครอบ asset มากย่อมมั่งคั่ง แต่ปัจจุบันนั้นใครสามารถ
access สารสนเทศได้มากกว่าย่อมมั่งคั่งกว่า” สำหรับมุมมองเรื่องของการปฏิบัติการสารสนเทศ
ในประเทศไทยนั้น ต้องกล่าวว่ายังขาดทิศทางทางที่ชัดเจน เพราะไม่มีการออกนโยบายหรือ
ยุทธศาสตร์ใด ๆ ที่คลอบคลุมจากรัฐบาล คงมีแต่การดำเนินการในระดับบุคคลหรือหน่วยงาน
ที่กระทำเพื่อตอบสนองต่อเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นในแต่ละเหตุการณ์เท่านั้นเอง โดยบางครั้ง
มีการดำเนินการที่ไม่ตรงจุดหรือปล่อยปละละเลยไม่มีการดำเนินการใด ๆ เลย ซึ่งถือเป็นเรื่อง
ที่น่าห่วงใยเป็นอย่างยิ่ง สำหรับประเทศไทยอย่างเรา ในขณะที่รัฐบาลกำลังจะพยายาม
นำประเทศกระโจนเข้าสู่สังคมสารสนเทศอย่างเต็ม ตัว เจอกันบทความหน้าครับ …….

หากจะวิเคราะห์ตัวละครเด่นในสมรภูมิความขัดแย้งระหว่างฝ่ายรัฐบาล
กับคนเสื้อแดงที่กรีธาทัพออกมายึดจุดศูนย์ดุล (Centers of Gravity) แล้ว

บางคนอาจยกให้กับบุคคล ที่มีบทบาทสูงทั้งสองฝ่าย อาทิเช่น อภิสิทธิ์ เวชชาชีวะ สุเทพ เทือกสุบรรณ
จตุพร พรหมพันธุ์ หรือณัฐวุฒิ ใสยเกื้อ หรืออาจยกให้เงื้อมมือเบื้องหลังบุคคลหน้าฉากเหล่านี้เป็นตัวเด่น
บางคนอาจยกให้ระเบิด M-79 ที่สร้างความน่าสะพรึงกลัวในสังคมได้หลากหลายวาระ รวมตั้งทำให้
บูรพาพยัคฆ์ต้องถึงจุดผกผัน (Culmination) ในคืนวันที่ 10 เมษายน อย่างไม่คาดคิด เหตุการณ์
การสลายฝูงชนในคืนนั้น ก็เป็นหนึ่งในฉากเด่นของศึกความขัดแย้ง แต่เมื่อวิเคราะห์ถึงสิ่งที่สำคัญที่สุด
ในการต่อสู้กันครั้งนี้ ขอยกให้ ปฏิบัติการข่าวสาร (Information Operation-IO) เป็นตัวประกอบที่ถึง
จะโดดเด่นเป็นรอง แต่มีความสำคัญที่สุดของสงครามกลางกรุงครั้งนี้

ทั้งนี้ เนื่องจากคู่ขัดแย้งทั้งสองฝ่ายระดมใช้ IO ในการต่อสู้อย่างต่อเนื่อง โดยเป็นกำลังรบที่ขาดไม่ได้
ต้องใช้จริงโดยไม่หยุดหย่อน การใช้ปฏิบัติการอื่นนั้นยังมีวันพัก จนทำให้ทั้งสองฝ่ายอยู่ในสภาวะ
ตรึงเสียมาก แต่การมุ่งทำการเพื่อชนะใจมวลชน สร้างความชอบธรรมให้ฝ่ายตนเอง และก่อภาพลบ
ให้ฝ่ายตรงข้ามเป็นปรากฏการณ์ที่ชะงักชะลอไม่ได้ การต่อสู้ชนิดนี้เป็นเรื่องจำเป็นในสงครามอสมมาตร
(Asymmetric warfare) เสียยิ่งกว่าการเอาชนะกันด้วยกำลัง ซึ่งถึงจบศึกในยุทธบริเวณก็อาจเป็นรอง
ในเฟสของการยุทธถัดไปอยู่ดี หากโดนตราหน้าว่าเป็นฝ่ายผิด

ข่าวสารถือเป็นพลังอำนาจชนิดหนึ่ง ใครครองน่านอากาศตรงนี้ได้ก็ได้เปรียบในการยุทธ
เพราะข่าวสารเหมือนกระสุนที่พุ่งออกจากปืนของสื่อ เข้าไปทะลวงจิตใจของผู้รับสาร เข้าไปมี
ผลกระทบต่อระบบความคิดอ่านและกระบวนการตัดสินใจของผู้รับสารอย่างรุนแรง เมื่อจิตใจของ
ผู้รับสื่อมีอาการเป๋ จากข่าวสารที่จงใจจัดตั้งจากการปฏิบัติการข่าวสารแล้ว ก็จะส่งผ่านการดำเนินการ
จากจิตใจมายังกายภาพต่อไป ตอนนี้ทั้งรัฐและเสื้อแดงจึงระดมสรรพกำลังด้านนี้ถล่มเข้าใส่กัน
เพื่อหวังให้อาการกายภาพของผู้รับเอนเอียงมาเป็นคุณต่อตน โดยวัตถุประสงค์หลักที่มุ่งกระทำ
ต่อเป้าหมายฝ่ายตรงข้าม ก็คือ รัฐบาลอยากให้เสื้อแดงใจฝ่อเลิกชุมนุม ส่วนฝ่ายเสื้อแดงก็อยากให้
รัฐบาลถอดใจยกธงขาว แต่ขณะเดียวกัน ก็มุ่งทำ I0 ต่อมวลชนฝ่ายเดียวกัน และต่อประชาคมโลก
ไปพร้อมกันด้วย

เท่าที่เห็น ทั้งรัฐบาลและแกนนำเสื้อแดงได้ใช้การปฏิบัติครบทุกองค์ประกอบ (Component)
ซึ่งก็พยายามทำให้เนียน จนผู้รับสารอาจนึกไม่ถึงว่าตัวเองกำลังโดนกล่อมด้วย IO อยู่
อาทิเช่น การที่รัฐบาลย้ำอยู่ตลอดเวลาว่าทหารเป็นผู้สูญเสีย ฝ่ายตรงข้ามมีโจรเข้าทำร้ายทหาร
และประชาชนเมื่อคืนวันที่ 10 มีการใช้สื่อสารมวลชนในมือโหมตีทั้งการแถลง การวิเคราะห์
ภาพข่าว ฯลฯ นั้น เป็นปฏิบัติการจิตวิทยา (Psychological Operation-Psyop) ที่หวังให้
คนขวัญอ่อน ตื่นกลัวไม่กล้าร่วมชุมนุม สุจริตชนต่อต้านการใช้ความรุนแรง
โดยเชื่อว่าอีกฝ่าย คือ ผู้ละเมิดความสงบของบ้านเมือง และนานาชาติสนับสนุน
การป้องกันเหตุการณ์ ภายภาคหน้าของรัฐที่อาจต้องใช้ความรุนแรงบ้าง

ในด้านการลวงทางทหาร (Military deception-MILDEC) มีตัวอย่างจากการที่ฝ่ายเสื้อแดงกระจายข่าวว่า
จะไปปิดถนนสีลม เป็นการลวงให้กำลังของฝ่ายรัฐออกมาปิดสีลมเสียก่อน ผลคือสีลมตกอยู่ในสภาพที่
ฝ่ายเสื้อแดงต้องการโดยมิพักต้องให้กำลังฝ่ายเสื้อแดงไปปิด ในด้านการรักษาความปลอดภัย
ในการปฏิบัติการ (Operations security-Opsec) ก็มีตัวอย่างที่ชัดเจนที่สุด คือ การเคลื่อนกำลังของ
ฝ่ายเสื้อแดงไปปิดย่านราชประสงค์โดยไม่แลบข่าวออกมาก่อน การที่รัฐเตรียมตัวไม่ทัน ส่งผลให้
ส่งกำลังไปขัดขวางไม่ทัน เมื่อเสื้อแดงเข้ามั่นในที่ตั้งแล้ว ก็เป็นการยากที่รัฐจะเข้าไปเอาเสื้อแดงออกมา

ในด้านสงครามอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (Electronic Warfare-EW) เป็นการรบกันโดยใช้คลื่นแม่เหล็กไฟฟ้า
รัฐบาลสั่งบล็อกความถี่วิทยุโทรทัศน์ของฝ่ายเสื้อแดงได้อย่างประสบความสำเร็จในระดับหนึ่ง
การที่ดาวเทียมและเคเบิลทีวียังส่งผ่านรายการพีเพิลชาแนลเป็นวงกว้างไม่ได้ ย่อมกระทบต่อ
การสื่อสารระหว่างผู้ชุมนุมพอสมควร แต่รัฐบาลกลับไม่เหนือกว่าในปฏิบัติการ
เครือข่ายคอมพิวเตอร์ (Computer Network Operation-CNO) เพราะต่อให้
ไล่ปิดเว็บโน้นเว็บนี้ แต่ก็ตัดการเผยแพร่ข่าวสารของฝ่ายเสื้อแดงผ่านทาง
ช่องทางที่เปิดใหม่ทุกวันไม่ได้ โดยเฉพาะในต่างประเทศที่เนื้อหา
ไปถึงไหนถึงไหนกันแล้ว

ยังมีองค์ประกอบสนับสนุน IO อีก 5 ประการ คือ การประกันข่าวสาร (Information Insurance)
การต่อต้านข่าวกรอง (Counterintelligence) การรักษาความปลอดภัยวัตถุ (Physical Security)
การโจมตีทางวัตถุ (Physical Attack) และภาพถ่ายการรบ (Combat Camera)
ตลอดจนมีองค์ประกอบที่เกี่ยวข้องอีก 3 ประการ คือ การประชาสัมพันธ์ (Public Affairs)
การปฏิบัติการระหว่างพลเรือนกับทหาร (Civil-Military Operations) และการสนับสนุนทางทหาร
ต่อการทูตสาธารณะ (Defense Support To Public Diplomacy) เชื่อว่าเมื่อท่านผู้อ่านรู้ชื่อของ
แขนงขีดความสามารถเหล่านี้แล้ว ก็คงพอนึกออกว่าการปฏิบัติใดบ้างของรัฐบาลและเสื้อแดง
ที่เป็นปฏิบัติการ IO แม้ว่าคนใช้จะปฏิเสธอย่างแข็งขันว่าเขาไม่ได้ทำ IO นะ

การยอมลงให้กันไม่ได้ ทำให้คู่ขัดแย้งเร่งทำ IO หนักขึ้น ความชอบธรรมที่ได้จะเป็นเพียง
ความชอบธรรมจำลอง (Relative Legitimacy) ที่ได้ใจเฉพาะมวลชนฝ่ายตนเอง ขณะที่บรรยากาศ
โดยรวมของสังคมเต็มไปด้วยความเกลียดชังกัน หากเป็นเช่นนี้ต่อไปคงเดาฉากไคลแมกซ์
ต่อไปได้ไม่ยากี

สำนักข่าวต่างๆของรัสเซียพากันรายงานว่า เมดเวเดฟลงนามในเอกสาร เมื่อกลางดึกที่ผ่านมาหลังจากทั้งสี่คนรับสารภาพผิดในจดหมายที่ร้องขอให้ เมดเวเดฟอภัยโทษให้แก่พวกเขาและจะมีการแลกเปลี่ยนตัวพวกเขากับ สายลับรัสเซีย 10 คนผู้รับสารภาพผิดต่อศาลรัฐบาลกลางสหรัฐฯ ในนครนิวยอร์ค เมื่อวันพฤหัสบดีเช่นกัน แต่พวกเขารับสารภาพผิดในข้อหาทำตนเป็นสายลับต่างชาติ โดยผิดกฏหมายเท่านั้น ไม่ได้รับสารภาพในข้อหาฟอกเงินซึ่งมีโทษจำคุกสูงสุด 20 ปี ทั้ง 4 คนที่รัสเซียปล่อยตัว ประกอบด้วยนายอิกอร์ ซุทยากิน นักวิจัยนิวเคลียร์เอกชน ซึ่งมีผู้เห็นออกจากเครื่องบินที่กรุงเวียนนาของออสเตรียแล้ว บ่งชี้ว่าอาจได้เริ่มมี การแลกตัวสายลับกันก่อนที่จะมีการตัดสินว่าได้กระทำความผิดจริง อีกสามคนเป็น สายลับ 2 หน้า คือ อเล็กซานเดอร์ ซาโปโรซสกี้ กับเซอร์เกย์ สคริปาล ผู้ถูกตัดกสิน จำคุก 13 ปีเทื่อปี 2549 และคนสุดท้ายคือเกนนาดี วาสิเลนโก้ ซึ่งไม่มีชื่อ ในการคาดการณ์ก่อนหน้านี้ ส่วนชื่อที่คาดการณ์กันไว้ก่อนหน้านี้ คือ อเล็กซานเดอร์ ไซปาชอฟ กลับไม่ได้รับการอภัยโทษ

อายุ 14 ปี ที่ประเทศไทย และจะกลับมาประเทศไทยอีกครั้ง ในวันที่ 18 ก.ค. นี้ สำหรับเพลตเนฟ
เป็นผู้ก่อตั้ง วงรัสเซียน เนชั่นแนล ออเคสตรา เมื่อปี 1990 ก่อนที่โซเวียตจะล่มสลาย

แคนาดาซื้อเครื่องบินรบ เอฟ-35 ฝูงใหญ่จากสหรัฐ รัฐบาล แคนาดาเตรียมซื้อเครื่องบินรบ
ไอพ่นรุ่นใหม่แบบ เอฟ-35 จำนวน 65 ลำ รวมมูลค่า 8.5 พันล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ (ประมาณ 280,500 ล้านบาท)
จาก บริษัท ล็อคฮีด มาร์ติน ของสหรัฐ ซึ่งนับเป็นการจัดซื้ออาวุธยุทโธปกรณ์ครั้งใหญ่สุดอีกครั้งหนึ่ง

ส่งมอบชุดแรกในปี 2559 โดยฝูงบินรบชุดนี้ จะถูกนำไปเข้าประจำการทดแทนฝูงบินรบแบบ ซีเอฟ-18 เอส

โครงการเครื่องบินรบเจเอสเอฟ ตั้งเป้าผลิตเครื่องบินรบ เอฟ-35 ไลท์นิ่ง ทู ถึง 5,000 ลำ โดยใช้ทุน
มากกว่า 383,000 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ โดยเงินทุนได้รับสนับสนุนจากหลายประเทศ ประกอบด้วย

เอเจนซี - เวเนซุเอลาจะใช้เงิน 82 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ (ประมาณ 2,700 ล้านบาท)
สำหรับการซื้อเครื่องบินชุดที่สอง อันได้แก่ อากาศยานฝึกเค-8 จากจีน
ประธานาธิบดี ฮูโก ชาเวซ เผยเมื่อวานนี้ (6)

รัฐบาลสังคมนิยมของชาเวซ สั่งซื่อเครื่องบินจู่โจมและเครื่องบินฝึก จำนวน 18 ลำจากจีน
โดยชาติละตินอเมริกันแห่งนี้ได้รับส่งมอบจำนวน 6 ลำแรก เมื่อเดือนมีนาคมที่ผ่านมา

“เราได้อนุมัติเงิน 82 ล้านดอลลาร์ สำหรับการซื้อล็อตที่สอง คือ เครื่องบินฝึกเค-8 ที่จีนผลิต
อากาศยานนี้มีเป้าหมายเพื่อความมั่นคงและด้านกลาโหมของประเทศ” ผู้นำเวเนซุเอลา

สหรัฐฯซึ่งกล่าวหาชาเวซ ผู้เป็นพันธมิตรของคิวบา และอิหร่าน ว่า จุดปะทุให้เกิดการแข่งขัน
อาวุธทั่วอเมริกาใต้ และยังคว่ำบาตรการขายชิ้นส่วนอาวุธของสหรัฐฯให้แก่ประเทศกลุ่ม
ผู้ส่งออกน้ำมันในปี 2006 ด้วย

ก่อนหน้านี้ ชาเวซ เผยว่า ต้องการซื้อเครื่องบินเค-8 จำนวน 40 ลำ โดยสั่ง 18 ลำจากจีน
หลังจากแผนการซื้อเครื่องบินรุ่นเดียวกันนี้จากบริษัทสัญชาติบราซิลล้มเหลว ซึ่งดูเหมือนว่า
น่าจะเป็นเพราะเครื่องบินพวกนี้ใช้ระบบไฟฟ้าของสหรัฐฯ

ทั้งนี้ ยังไม่ชัดเจนว่าเครื่องบินล็อตที่สองนี้มีจำนวนกี่ลำและจะส่งมอบกันเมื่อใด

เจ้าหน้าที่รัฐบาลเวเนซุเอลากล่าวเมื่อเดือนมีนาคม ว่า เครื่องบินเหล่านี้จะถูกนำไปใช้ฝึกนักบิน
ในท้องถิ่น และเฝ้าสกัดพวกค้ายา ซึ่งใช้เวเนซุเอลาเป็นจุดผ่านทางพื่อลอบขนโคเคนจาก
โคลัมเบียไปยังสหรัฐฯ ทวีปยุโรป และแอฟริกา

เวเนซุเอลายังเคยซื้อเครือข่ายระบบเรดาร์จากจีน และทุ่มเงิน 4,000 ล้านดอลลาร์ เพื่อซื้ออาวุธ
จากรัสเซียด้วย ซึ่งได้แก่ รถถัง ระบบขีปนาวุธ และเครื่องบินขับไล่ เพื่อทดแทนเครื่องบินขับไล่
เอฟ-16 ที่ต้องห้ามจากมาตรการคว่ำบาตรทางการค้าจากสหรัฐฯ

ทั้งนี้ ชาเวซกล่าวว่าเขาเพียงต้องการทำให้กองทัพมีความทันสมัย

“วันนี้ จีนกลายเป็นหนึ่งในพันธมิตรที่สำคัญที่สุดของเวเนซุเอลา และเวเนซุเอลาก็เป็นพันธมิตร
ที่สำคัญอย่างยิ่งของจีนในโลกด้วย” ผู้นำเวเนซุเอลา กล่าว

ทั้งนี้บริษัทจีนหลายแห่งเป็นหุ้นส่วนในการสำรวจค้นหาน้ำมันในแถบทุ่งน้ำมันออรินโนโกของ
เวเนซุเอลา และปักกิ่ง ยังเผยว่า ยังจัดสรรทุนให้แก่โครงการระยะยาวต่างๆ ในประเทศ

ที่เมืองท่าเซวาสโตโพล ของยูเครน เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว ท่ามกลางการคุ้มกันอย่างแน่นหนาจาก

where a surprise visitor's ridden in to join in the action. Russian Prime Minister
Vladimir Putin said he enjoyed sharing his passion for steel and wheels. Thousands
of bikers and spectators are camping in the city for two days. This year's show is dedicated
to the 65th anniversary of victory over Nazi Germany and features war-time motorbikes.
A commemoration ceremony will also be held to remember the defenders of Sevastopol.
It's the 14th such festival. The city also hosted last year's gathering, which attracted
5 thousand bikers.

Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin arrived to the bike show in the Ukrainian port of
Sevastopol, riding three-wheeled Harley Davidson "tricked out piece of iron".
The bikers, gathered at the 14th International annual bike show, welcomed premier
who headed the line of bikers. He was riding posh Harley Davidson trike decorated
with Russian and Ukrainian flags."Bike is the most democratic transport vehicle.
Bike is the most daring, challenging as it gives its owner the tempting feeling of freedom,
that is why one can say without any exaggeration, bike is a symbol of freedom," Putin said.

The image of the premier was totally matching the biker's one. He was wearing black jeans,
black shirt, sunglasses and biker gloves."There are such tricked out vehicles, such tricked out
pieces of iron, like the one that I ride today," Putin said. The premier talked to bikers and put his
autographs on several bikes."You came here, because you are free people, and you can go
wherever you want," Putin said, adding it was deeply symbolic that people from all over
the Europe gathered at the bike show. Finally, before leaving the show Putin urged
the bikers not to chase the wind. "Say no to the mad ride," he said.

Russia's PM Vladimir Putin said he met the group of Russian spies deported from the US
earlier this month. In a transcript published online on Sunday, he said that they sang
patriotic Soviet songs and "talked about life".

AFP - Prime Minister Vladimir Putin revealed he met and even sang patriotic Soviet songs
with the group of Russian spies deported from the United States in the biggest espionage swap
since the Cold War.

Putin, who himself served as a KGB agent in the ex-East Germany in the dying years of
the Soviet Union, said the group included Anna Chapman, the Russian woman whose glamorous
looks turned her into a tabloid star worldwide.

"I met with them. We talked about life. We sang. It was not karaoke but live music," Putin told
Russian reporters on a visit to Ukraine, according to a transcript posted Sunday on
the government website.

"We sang 'From Where the Motherland Begins'," a hugely popular 1960s song made famous in
a USSR film about a Soviet spy working in Nazi Germany.

"I'm not joking, I am serious. And other songs with a similar content," said Putin.

The group of 10 spies, many of whom had been working for years undercover in the United States
as sleeper agents, returned to Russia earlier this month in a swap that saw Moscow send
four Russian convicts to the West.

The 10 Kremlin agents had been arrested in an FBI swoop that initially threatened to derail
a rapid improvement in Russia-US relations championed by President Dmitry Medvedev.

Putin hinted that the agents' cover had been blown as a result of "treason" and
that he knew the names of those responsible.

"This was the result of treason and traitors always end badly. They finish up as drunks,
addicts, on the street," said Putin.

Many ex-KGB spies have gone on the record slamming the shoddy and apparently antiquated
spycraft of the 10, who were working for the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR).

But Putin indicated that the deported spooks would not be left without employment.
"They will work, I am sure, they will work in worthy places. I do not doubt that
they will have an interesting, bright life."

He did not give further details on his encounter with Chapman, saying only that she had been
present at the meeting. He did not say when or where the meeting had taken place.

Without talking specifically about the work of the deported spies, Putin praised the work
of Russian agents, saying they "have a difficult life, every one of them."

"You need to fulfil the task set in the interests of your motherland for many many years,
not counting on diplomatic cover, exposing to danger yourself and your loved ones," said Putin.

Ten convicted agents for Russia have been deported from the US in exchange for four people
convicted of betraying Moscow to the West, in the biggest public spy swap since the Cold War.
Before their deportation, the agents, many of them speaking in heavy Russian accents despite
having spent years posing as US citizens, pleaded guilty to conspiracy in a Manhattan,
New York, courtroom on Thursday.

They were sentenced to time served and ordered out of the country. All the 10 convicted agents
were deported late on Thursday, local television NY1 in New York reported.

US and Russian officials said the agents were being exchanged for four Russian citizens
convicted of spying for the West. A US administration official said what he called the quick and
pragmatic arrangement of the spy swap spoke to the progress made in US-Russian relations.

Barack Obama, the US president, who met his Russian counterpart Dmitri Medvedev in
the US last month, said after the talks that the two leaders had "succeeded in resetting"
the sometimes difficult relationship between the two countries.

Obama aware

Rahm Emanuel, the White House chief of staff, told broadcaster PBS that Obama was aware
of the investigation, the decision to go forward with the arrests and the spy swap with Russia.
Eric Holder, the US attorney-general, said the "extraordinary" case took years of work, "and
the agreement we reached today provides a successful resolution for the United States and
its interests". The 10 US defendants, captured last week in suburban homes across the country,
were accused of embedding themselves in ordinary American life for more than a decade
while leading double lives complete with false passports, secret code words, fake names,
invisible ink and encrypted radio.

and were ordered deported. Asked to describe their crimes in court on Thursday, each of the 10
acknowledged having worked for Russia secretly, sometimes under an assumed identity,
without registering as a foreign agent. An 11th defendant has been a fugitive since fleeing
authorities in Cyprus following his release on bail. But independent newspapers and liberal
commentators in Russia have ridiculed the obvious lack of results from the spy ring and
the apparent low level of the agents' training.

In any case, they are unlikely to be greeted as heroes in Russia, as the Kremlin will very likely
try to quickly turn the page over the incident and avoid further damage in relations with
Washington. "Both sides want to put Cold War suspicions behind them," said Al Jazeera's
Neave Barker, reporting from Moscow. Still, the Russian government had promised Vicky Pelaez,
one of the convicted 10, $2,000 a month for life, housing and documents to allow her children to
visit Russia and have all their expenses paid, her lawyer, John Rodriguez, said in court.
Pelaez said the promises did not induce her to plead guilty.

'Special case'

Jeff Stain, a "spytalk" columnist for the Washington Post, called the swap a "very special case".

"First of all, none of these people were charged with espionage to start with," he told Al Jazeera.

"It seems to be now a concocted arrest; not that they were not guilty but that the United States
government decided that it wanted to get possession of people in Russia ... [in exchange for agents]
who they had under surveillance for many, many years in order to make a trade. That's my guess
after looking at this for several days now."

In Russia, the Kremlin said Medvedev had signed a decree pardoning four convicted foreign spies
so they could be exchanged for the 10 convicted in the US.

Among those pardoned, according to the Kremlin statement carried by Russian news agencies,
was Igor Sutyagin, an arms-control expert sentenced to 14 years in prison in 2004 for spying for
the US. The Russian foreign ministry issued a statement saying that the exchange being conducted
by Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) and the CIA was conducted in the context of
"overall improvement of the US-Russian ties and giving them new dynamics".

"That agreement gives grounds to believe that the course set by the leaders of Russia and
the US will be implemented and attempts to derail it will fail," it added. Medvedev's spokeswoman
Natalia Timakova said in the statement that together with Sutyagin, Alexander Zaporozhsky,
Gennady Vasilenko, Sergei Skripal - all Russian citizens - had been pardoned after admitting their guilt
and submitting a plea for pardon.

Russian rights activists welcomed Sutyagin's release, but Amnesty International (AI),
the London-based human rights advocacy group, has said that any deal requiring Sutyagin to
leave Russia against his wishes would amount to forced exile, which is prohibited under
international law.

"It will also deprive him of the chance to clear his name of the charges," Nicola Duckworth,
AI's Europe and Central Asia programme director, said. Sutyagin has insisted on his innocence,
saying that the information he provided to a British company that investigators said was
a CIA cover, came from open sources. His family said this week that Sutyagin said he was forced
to sign a confession, although he insisted he was not guilty and does not want to leave Russia.

Other agents

Two other convicted agents on the Kremlin's swap list were Russian intelligence officers.
Skripal, a former colonel in the Russian military intelligence, was found guilty of passing state
secrets to Britain and sentenced to 13 years in prison in 2006. He was accused of revealing
the names of several dozen Russian agents working in Europe.

Sutyagin was sentenced to 14 years in jail in 2004 for spying for the US [EPA file]

Zaporozhsky, a former colonel in the SVR, quit the service in 1997 and settled in the US,
but Russia enticed him back and arrested him in 2001. He was sentenced in 2003 to 18 years
in prison for spying for the US, convicted on charges of passing secret information about
Russian agents working under cover in the US and about American sources working for
Russian intelligence.

The identity of the fourth person on the list, Vasilenko, was unclear. The US justice department
said in a letter on Thursday that some of the four prisoners were in poor health and had served
lengthy prison terms.

Preet Bharara, a US attorney, said the investigation against the spy ring in the US had been
aimed at uncovering and deterring espionage, and "not undertaken for the purpose of having
a bargaining chip".

He predicted the Russian government was "unlikely to engage in this methodology in the future
and that's a good thing... The case sends a message to every other agency that if you come to
America and spy on Americans in America you will be exposed".

What Is Iridium?

Originally the company was Iridium, Inc., formed in June 1991
as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Motorola. In mid 1993,
positions were sold to US and foreign investors on a private
placement basis. In July 1996 Iridium LLC (limited liability corporation)
was formed and Iridium, Inc. was merged into the LLC.

The partners in Iridium LLC are big companies you have heard
something about before; Motorola, Lockheed-Martin, Loral, Sprint,
Raytheon, Hughes and others. These partner companies apparently
bought their stock positions in this enterprise for the stock par value
of $0.01 per share. Motorola appears to be the largest participant
at 18-25% ownership. The intent of Iridium LLC was to put
a huge array of polar satellites in low earth orbits.

Hopefully, you did not own the publicly traded stock in Iridium
World Communications, Ltd. - at least not during the crash period.
Why, then, should you be at all concerned with this.
Consider the following:

1. The consortium successfully deployed the satellite constellations.
By the way,state-of-the-art satellites capable of processing billions
of bytes per second (yes, billions with a "B").

2. A significant chunk of the bill was paid by unsuspecting
stock market investors.

3. The rocket guidance technology was illegally delivered
to China with help from our White House. Remember
when Loral, and it s CEO Bernard Schwartz, first came under fire
for this delivery, you were told that it was simply to be used for
a little light weight telephone communications system so, don t get excited.
China used the technology along with the MIRV capabilities
when they launched satellites for Iridium. Russia launched some also.
The same guidance technology can now be used by both to
deliver rockets to the USA and they can deliver multiple warheads
using the MIRV technology!

Russia's Strategic Missile Force chief, Col.-Gen. Nikolai Solovtsov, said the military
will commission a new type of intercontinental ballistic missile and modify
the existing missiles.

Solovtsov said that the new RS-24 missile equipped with multiple nuclear warheads
will enter service next year.

European Ballistic Missile Defense

The United States has signed a deal with Poland allowing it to install missiles
at a base on the Baltic Sea. It already has an agreement to build a radar station
in the Czech Republic.

The deals form part of US plans for a European missile defence shield to counter
what it describes as the threat from "rogue states" such as Iran.

Iran recently carried out new tests of its Shahab-3 ballistic missile,
which is said to have a range of 2,000km (1,240 miles).

But Russia says the US plan is unnecessary and has threatened to retaliate militarily
if the missile defence system is built.




MIRV (Multiple Independent targetable Reentry Vehicle) is a collection of
many nuclear warheads carried on a single missile with the ability to independently
strike each targets over a broad area. This reduces the number of missiles needed to
hit many targets, increases the area of destruction and reduces the effectiveness of
ABM defence systems all of which make a MIRV attack deadly. Even if the new
Alaska-California system of ABM interceptors eventually works as planned to
prevent individual or small numbers of ICBM launches by so-called "rogue" nations
like North Korea or Iran, it was never designed to protect the United States against
any attack by Russia's still huge Strategic Rocket Forces, with their 2,500 nuclear weapons -
more than 10 times as many as are needed to obliterate every city in the northern hemisphere
or every U.S. town and city with a population greater than 50,000.

Neither the West Coast-Alaska ABM system nor any of the visionary "Star Wars" type
programs currently being developed at astronomical cost by the Air Force and,
to a far lesser extent, by the Army, show any possibility of defending America against
the Multiple Independently Targeted Reentry Vehicle, or MIRV, capabilities of
the Strategic Rocket Forces.

So far Russia, apart from the United States, is the only other country in the world with
a MIRV capability. And China, despite all its astonishing industrial and technological
progress, is still believed to be decades away from developing a MIRV capability of its own.

Up to now, Russia has jealously guarded its MIRV technology and refused to sell or
share it with China. But there is no doubt that Russian-Chinese strategic cooperation
is developing rapidly. And no one truly knows how far it will ultimately go.

China has had the technical capability to develop a multiple independently
targetable reentry vehicle (MIRV) system for its large, currently deployed ICBM
for many years, but has not done so. US information acquired by
the Chinese could help them develop a MIRV for a future mobile missile.

We do not know if US classified nuclear information acquired by the Chinese
has been passed to other countries. Having obtained more modern US nuclear
technology, the Chinese might be less concerned about sharing their older technology."

Within the next few years "Poplar-M" will appear also in other parts
and connections [RVSN] in the mobile version. This new rocket will

Fraud of the Century: US Missile Shield



The US Missile Defense System, a stumbling block in Russia-American
bilateral relations, may prove to be the most expensive fraud of the
present century. American physicists claim that the system has not been
created as yet. They warned US President Barack Obama about it prior to
his visit to Russia Pravda.ru reports.

Several days before his visit to Russia, the US president received a letter,
signed by 20 leading American physicist, including 10 Nobel laureates.
The scientists, participating in hundreds of military projects,
urged Obama to forgo the plans to deploy elements of the US
missile defense system in Europe. The missiles, they wrote, had not
been adequately tested as yet, nor had they demonstrated their
performance capabilities in real attack conditions. The scientists
consider that the planned missile defense system is unable to guarantee
defense against a real attack.

Theodore Postol, a Professor of Science, Technology,
and International Security at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
claimed that the plans to create several missile defense zones failed
as early as in 1997 after the IFT-1A (code name) tests. Eleven objects
- one target missile and ten deception targets (hot air balloons) -
were launched from an army base in the Pacific Ocean. The target
identification system proved to be incapable of distinguishing between
the balloons and the ballistic missile.

The next test, which was conducted in October 1999,
also failed. The Pentagon had to admit that interceptor missile hit a
balloon once again. In January 2000, an interceptor missile failed to
hit the target due to malfunctions in the sensory system. The same
results were achieved in 2001 and 2007, the scientist added.

The US military authorities knew about the negative
results of the tests. However, trying to prove the effectiveness of the
new missile defense system, the military resorted to fraud.

At first, the military launched two targets instead
of 11: a target missile and a balloon. After the interceptor failed to
hit this target, the Pentagon resolved to do the falsification. The
balloon launched during the last test was huge, the scientist said.

Moreover, during the recent tests the data of the
dimensions and the temperature of the deception targets were programmed
into the interceptor missile control module. The effort did not help
either. The scientist stressed out that he accused the Pentagon of
negligence and lack of competence. Meeting with the US deputy defense
secretaries he realized that they even were unaware of what was going
on at the Missile Defense Agency.

The USA has no missile defense system at the moment.
The Bush administration planned to deploy 46 interceptors in Alaska,
although, the latter decision was to install only 30. All other
interceptors should undergo testing as even the US military
administration is not sure of their reliability, Theodore Postol
claimed.

Dr. Postol told journalists that the physicists had
not received a reply to their letter from the White House. The Obama
administration will unlikely be hasty with the answer, the scientist
believes. The Missile Defense Agency chief executives and high-ranking
politicians from Washington seem to realize that they have found
themselves in a dead-locked situation.

Russia and India to develop invincible new missile

Russia and India will start the development of a new supersonic missile
nearly invincible to interception. No army in the world has anything

"BrahMos" supersonic missile hits target at range of 290 km

The BrahMos supersonic cruise missile developed jointly by Russia and India can become
invisible and evade missile defense systems of modern military ships. It attacks a target
diving in an inclined position. The missile’s name is an abbreviation of two rivers,
India’s Brahmaputra and Russia’s Moskva.

The joint project was completed in under three years: the first intergovernmental agreements
were signed in 1998 and the first test launch of the BrahMos missile from a firing range in
India took place in 2001.

The BrahMos anti-ship missile was based on the P-800 Oniks, a Russian mid-range cruise missile,
alternatively named Yakhont. It has been significantly upgraded to become a supersonic modification.
Indian engineers developed a new control system. The resulting missile can develop a speed
three times higher than the speed of sound and has an invisibility range of up to 300 km from
a target’s missile defense system. The developers are currently testing a hypersonic version
of the missile, BrahMos-II, which would be capable of achieving a speed twice as fast as
the existing version.

USA Cancels Missile Defense System Russia Condemned as a Threat

President Obama said the following: “My task was not to negotiate with the Russians,”
President Obama “The Russians don’t make determinations about what our defense
posture is.”

Why is President Obama making such a big deal about making this point?
Why not cooporate with the Russian’s if possible?

President Obama said it is merely a bonus if the Russians are less paraniod about the USA.
A new system will rely on a network of senors and interceptor missiles based on land,
at sea and in the air. Many experts have stated that Obama’s decision may have in part
been made in order to appease Russia and to gain Russian support on other important issues.

In the CBS interview taped Friday, Obama was pressed on why he did not seek
anything in exchange from Russia. President Obama’s reply:

“If the byproduct of it is that the Russians feel a little less paranoid and are now willing
to work more effectively with us to deal with threats like ballistic missiles from Iran or
nuclear development in Iran, you know, then that’s a bonus.”

Russia has already stated they will cancel a plan to deploy missiles near Poland
since Obama decided to cancel the planned missle shield in Eastern Europe.

Russia’s Deputy Defense Minister Vladimir Popovkin said Obama’s move made the deployment
of short-range missiles in the Kaliningrad region unnecessary, and he called the U.S. president’s
decision a “victory of reason over ambitions.”

“Russia’s attitude and possible reaction played no part in my recommendation to the president
on this issue,” Gates wrote in an essay in The New York Times. He said he would be surprised
if Russia likes the replacement European missile defense plan much better than the old plan.

Russian President Dmitri Medvedev said Israeli officials have assured him that they are
not planning a military strike against Iran. The Russian leader says that an attack on Iran
would create a humanitarian disaster, a vast number of refugees, and a desire by Iran
to take its revenge on Israel and several other countries.

He says that although Russia does not have a defense agreement with Iran,
it would not be indifferent to such an attack. President Obama’s decision to cancel
an antimissile defense system in Eastern Europe earned strong support from Russian leaders
on Saturday.

The question is whether Russia will do more to help prevent Iran from developing
nuclear weapons.Prime Minister Vladimir V. Putin, who had repeatedly attacked
the antimissile system as a grave danger to Russia’s security, called Mr. Obama’s decision
“correct and brave.” However neither Russian leader offered any immediate indication that
Russia would make any specific concessions, especially on Iran, which has become
a huge stumbling block in relations between the Russia and the USA. If Russia does not
toughen its opposition to Iran’s nuclear program, President Obama may receive criticism
that he yielded to Russian complaints on the antimissile plan but received little or
nothing in return.

“The second phase, which will become operational around 2015, will involve putting upgraded
SM-3s on the ground in Southern and Central Europe. All told, every phase of this plan will
include scores of SM-3 missiles, as opposed to the old plan of just 10 ground-based interceptors.
This will be a far more effective defense should an enemy fire many missiles simultaneously -
the kind of attack most likely to occur as Iran continues to build and deploy numerous short-
and medium-range weapons,” he continued. So we will see how this new plan plays out and
how Russian leaders recact to it of the next several months. I think this will be a never ending story
that will go on for a very long time.

Were spy arrests the result of an FBI bungle?

What explains the timing of the bust of the Russian spy ring just four days after Barack Obama’s
“cheeseburger summit” with Dmitry Medvedev?

“Many Russian officials and analysts,” reports the Wall Street Journal, “said they presumed that
hawkish elements within the U.S. government had engineered and timed the arrests to embarrass
President Obama and undermine the ‘reset’” that the American president had set in motion.

Are the Russians right? American officials have thus far explained the timing by pointing to
the possibility that one of the alleged spies, Anna Chapman, was planning to flee the country.

But why was she going to flee? The criminal complaint, available here in full and summarized
below by the Associated Press, suggests that an FBI agent, posing as a Russian diplomat,
inadvertently tipped her off that she was under investigation. Chapman, according to prosecutors,
engaged in regular exchanges of laptops with her Russian handlers:

The laptop exchanges occurred 10 times, always on Wednesdays, until June,
when an undercover FBI agent got involved, prosecutors said.
The agent, posing as a Russian consulate employee and wearing a wire,
arranged a meeting with Chapman at a Manhattan coffee shop, they said.

During the meeting, they initially spoke in Russian but then agreed to switch
to English to draw less attention to themselves, the complaint says in recounting
their recorded conversation. “I need more information about you before I can talk.”

“OK. My name is Roman. … I work in the consulate.” The undercover said he knew
she was headed to Moscow in two weeks “to talk officially about your work,”
but before that, “I have a task for you to do tomorrow.”

The task: To deliver a fraudulent passport to another woman working as a spy.
“Are you ready for this step?” he asked. “S—, of course,” she responded.

The undercover gave her a location and told her to hold a magazine a certain way —
that way, she would be recognized by a Russian agent, who would in turn confirm
her identity by saying to her, “Excuse me, but haven’t we met in California last summer?”

But Chapman was leery, prosecutors said. “You’re positive no one is watching?”
they say she told the undercover agent after being given the instructions.
Afterward, authorities say, she was concerned enough to buy a cell phone and
make a “flurry of calls” to Russia. In one of the intercepted calls, a man advised her
she may have been uncovered, should turn in the passport to police and get out
of the country.She was arrested at a New York Police Department precinct after
following that advice, authorities said.

It was these instructions to flee that prompted the FBI to roll up the entire ring.
Was this a case, then, not of “hawkish elements” sabotaging Obama’s Russia policy,
but of an FBI bungle?

Back in February 2006, InsideDefense.com’s Inside The Air Force (ITAF) reported that
momentum was building within the Air Force to sell the ultra-advanced F-22A Raptor
abroad to trusted U.S. allies, as a way of increasing numbers and production.
The USAF originally initially intended to purchase 700-800 F-22 fighters,
but that was cut to 442, then 381, and recently cut again to just over 180.
These cuts have had obvious effects on the cost per aircraft, and on the ratio of
aircraft to total R&D + production money spent. With F-22 production set to terminate
around 2010, and increasing concern over the capability gap between other US fighters
and global competitors like the SU-30 family, MiG-35, et. al., some USAF planners are
becoming concerned. Extending the F-22 production line through exports was also
a way of extending the USA’s decision options.

One of the most likely export prospects was Japan. The Raptor was discussed at
a 2007 summit meeting, and in a number of other venues. Meanwhile, BAE Systems
is looking to pounce with its Eurofighter if the US remains intransigent, and Boeing has
offered an interesting F-15SE option of its own. But recent reports indicate Japanese
interest in one of the F-35 models...

Four state-of-the-art U.S. stealth fighters will join a massive combined air and naval exercise
to be held by South Korea and the United States in the East Sea later this month in a show of
the allies’ strong deterrence plans against North Korean provocations, South Korean and
U.S. defense officials announced Tuesday.

The plan was made public after consultations between Defense Minister Kim Tae-young
and his U.S. counterpart Robert Gates in Seoul. The two defense chiefs discussed a series of
combined maritime and air readiness drills in waters around the peninsula in the coming months.

Gates arrived in Seoul late Monday to attend the “2+2” meeting that will include Secretary of
State Hillary Clinton, South Korean Foreign Minister Yu Myung-hwan and Defense Minister
Kim Tae-young.

The exercise, “Invincible Spirit,” will be the largest in scale with the participation of 8,000 Army,
Air, Navy and Marine forces from the South Korean and U.S. militaries. The drill will be held from
July 25 to 28.

About 200 fighter jets, and naval aircraft and helicopters will fly training missions in and
around Korea. In addition, approximately 20 warships, including the U.S. nuclear-powered
aircraft carrier USS George Washington, the South Korean Navy’s 14,000-ton Dokdo large-deck
landing ship, and attack submarines will participate in the exercise.

The deployment of the F-22 Raptor, the world’s most advanced aircraft, will be symbolic in
heralding the solid and broader alliance of the two governments against emerging regional threats,
including a North Korean provocation, said Maj. Gen. John A. Macdonald, director of the ROK-U.S.
Combined Forces Command’s operations bureau.

“The Raptor is the capability that we brought here to help in the defense of the Republic of Korea.
It is part of the ROK-U.S. alliance,” Macdonald said.

“We will have four Raptors to participate in the exercise, and they will be involved in
strike operations that will take place on ranges.”

This will be the first time that the “fifth-generation” radar-evading aircraft will participate in
exercises with South Korea. The F-22, built by Lockheed Martin, is equipped with an active
electronically scanned radar for cruise missile detection and is capable of evading advanced
air defenses to bomb ballistic missile launch sites.

The single-seat fighter can fly at a maximum speed of Mach 1.8 and has an operational radius
of 2,000 kilometers. Its weapons systems include AIM-9 Sidewinders and Joint Direct Attack
Munitions (JDAM).

Macdonald added allied troops will be engaged in “network defense” to ensure
they are secure in adverse conditions.

“The exercise will sharpen our military readiness by improving interoperability and
the combined operational capability of the ROK-U.S. combined forces, while demonstrating
the resolve and strength of the alliance,” Gen. Han Min-koo, chairman of the ROK
Joint Chiefs of Staff, said in a statement. “We stand fully prepared to respond militarily
to any further North Korean provocation.”

The exercise was originally scheduled to be held in the West Sea, but defense authorities
in Seoul and Washington changed the venue apparently after strong protests from China.

The USS George Washington carries nearly 5,000 crew and flight staff,
including 400-plus officers and more than 4,000 enlisted sailors.

The 97,000-ton vessel carries more than 65 aircraft, including F/A 18 Hornets,
F/A 18 E/F Super Hornets, EA6B Prowlers, E2C Hawkeyes, C-2 Greyhounds
and SH-60 Seahawk helicopters.

Joining the East Sea exercise will be the USS McCampbell, USS John S. McCain and USS Lassen.

Earlier this month, the U.N. Security Council issued a statement that expressed “deep concern”
over the sinking of the frigate Cheonan in the West Sea in March, but did not identify
who was responsible for sinking the ship.

China, North Korea’s most important ally, was reportedly the main force behind the watering
down of the Security Council resolution. It is also very uneasy about the ROK-U.S. joint exercise
involving a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.

The US and South Korea are set to launch joint military exercises off the east coast of
South Korea later this month.

And a South Korean government official said that the US is considering sending
the F-22 Raptor air dominant fighter to the naval exercises.

Washington has said the drill follows the recent sinking of the Cheonan and
is aimed at sending a message to North Korea.

The US government will also send its Seventh Fleet as well as US troops currently
based in Japan.

The US announced in May that it would deploy 12 air force fighters F-22
at the Kadena air base of the US Forces Japan in Okinawa for four months.

The F-22 is the most advanced fighter, with a high stealth performance and mobility,
and is equipped with Active Phased Array Radar and advanced weapons.
It costs about $140 million per unit.

According to South Korean media, Washington and Seoul will hold 10 joint military
exercises off the coast of South Korea this year.

On the topic of US-South Korea joint military exercises in the Yellow Sea,
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang reiterated that China opposes any exercises
conducted by foreign military fleet which endanger Chinese security interests.
And he said he hoped the relevant parties will remain calm and not cause regional tensions.

South Korea is hosting South Korea-U.S. joint training exercises from the 8th to 11th
as one of the countermeasures to the Cheonan incident. The U.S. plans to deploy
the F-22 Raptor during the event specifically to display its deterrent capacity to North Korea.

During the training, which will be carried out over the West Sea, a nuclear-powered submarine,
a destroyer equipped with Aegis and South Korean destroyers and submarines will take part.

The South’s Ministry of National Defense has also reported that anti-submarine training
will be conducted later this month, including submarine torpedo firings and the dropping
of antisubmarine bombs.

South Korea and the U.S. intend to prevent a second Cheonan incident by training for attacks
on submarines, reinforcing their alert posture against submarines, and improving
defensive tactics against underwater attacks and the ability to fire at sea.

Experts on the military say that this joint training will place significant pressure on
the Kim Jong Il regime as a message to the North, warning that an incident similar to
the Cheonan will invite retaliation.

Kim Gyu, a policy researcher with the Retired Generals and Admirals Association and
a Major General in the air force reserves, said in a telephone interview with The Daily NK
on the 3rd, “The enormous power of the U.S. Navy’s participation in the training against
submarine attacks will be a great pressure on North Korea. It is an official warning message
to North Korea that if the North attacks again, it will be buried in the sea.”

He added, “Since the North Korean military authorities will be analyzing that
joint training closely, it will be hard for the North to attack again.

The training is not just a warning to North Korea, experts point out,
but also a functioning part of operational plans.

Lee Choon Kun, a professor from Ewha University explained, “The fact that
a U.S. aircraft carrier is taking part in the training is because that area of
the West Sea is becoming an operational region.”

Professor Lee emphasized, “The training will show that the U.S. forces are able to use their
fighting power against the North Korean land as well as its submarines. In other words,
it means that they can mobilize their military for a North Korean emergency as well as
for its provocations.

The U.S. is planning to dispatch 24 F-22 Raptors from Okinawa and Guam.

Experts explain that utilizing the F-22 is more effective than the joint training
in pressing Kim Jong Il as an individual.

Immediately before the February 13 Agreement was passed in 2007, North Korea asked
the U.S. to defer the forward deployment training of F-22 aircraft, but the U.S. did not
accept it. Even during the Six-Party Talks, North Korea requested the suspension of F-22 training.

Professor Lee said, “Deployment of the F-22 in Okinawa is a threat to Kim Jong Il as
an individual as well as to the North’s military. The F-22 is a fighter, which has the ability
to bomb Kim Jong Il’s special villas, so it will be a great psychological pressure on him.”

Kim added, “The F-22 has the capacity to make Kim Jong Il sleep uncomfortably in his bed.”

Western powers send tough message; Russian minister responds.
NATO allies warned Russia on Tuesday that the alliance's cooperation with Moscow
would depend on the pullout of troops from Georgia. They insisted Georgia remained
on track to join NATO despite Moscow's opposition. The emergency meeting in Brussels
highlighted a rift within the 27-nation bloc between former Soviet satellite nations wanting
tough action against Russia and western European members warning against antagonizing
Moscow. In an editorial from The Independent newspaper entitled "NATO is walking
a tightrope over Georgia" Anne Penketh states that "[NATO] foreign ministers want to send
a tough message to the Kremlin, but the big powers know that they cannot afford to isolate
Moscow which remains an essential partner for the US and Europe in dealing with other
major crises such as the showdown with Iran over its nuclear programme."

นิติภูมิกำลังทำงานที่บ้านลาดกระบังกับหัวหน้าสำนักงานตัวแทนของสำนักข่าวโนโวสตี้แห่ง
สหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย พร้อมเพื่อนชาวโปแลนด์ และออสเตรเลีย เมื่อมี ‘เบรกกิ้งนิวส์’ แจ้งว่า
‘จับขีปนาวุธมหาภัยลอตใหญ่ขนจากเกาหลีเหนือ’

คอมพิวเตอร์ขนาดพกพา ๔ เครื่อง ถูกนำมาตั้งเพื่อตรวจสอบกับทางมอสโกอย่างฉับพลันทันที
เราคิดว่าการจับครั้งนี้น่าจะมีเบื้องหน้าเบื้องหลังพอสมควร การตรวจสอบและโต้ตอบกันระหว่าง
กรุงเทพกับกรุงมอสโก เริ่มตั้งแต่ ๒๐.๐๐ น.ของคืนวันเสาร์ ๑๒ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๒ และไปเสร็จสิ้น
เอาในเช้าวันอาทิตย์

๑. เครื่องบินที่ถูกจับเป็นแบบอิลยูชิน ๗๖ ผลิตในสหพันธรัฐรัสเซีย เจ้าของเครื่องเป็นบริษัทเอกชน
ในสาธารณรัฐคาซัคสถาน แต่ตัวเครื่องจดทะเบียนในสาธารณรัฐจอร์เจีย และถูกใช้งานในจอร์เจีย
ไม่ได้ใช้ในคาซัคสถาน

๒. ลูกเรือให้การว่า เครื่องบรรทุกอาวุธจากสาธารณรัฐประชาธิปไตยประชาชนเกาหลี และเมื่อเย็น
วันที่ ๑๓ ธันวาคม ๒๕๕๒ ผมอ่านจากสื่อมวลชนไทยและเทศที่อ้างแหล่งข่าวจากตำรวจกองปราบ
บอกว่า กัปตันเป็นชาวเบลารุสชื่อ มิคาอิล เปตูคอฟ อายุ ๕๔ ปี เป้าหมายของการส่งของคือ อูเครน
กัปตันปฏิเสธว่า ตนไม่ทราบว่า สินค้าที่ขนจากเกาหลีเหนือเป็นอาวุธ เห็นแต่เป็นเพียงกล่องไม้ยาวๆ

๓. เครื่องบินบินลำเปล่าจากอูเครนไปเติมน้ำมันที่สาธารณรัฐฐอาเซอร์ไบจาน จากนั้นบินไปจอด
ที่สหรัฐอรับเอมิเรตส์ และมาจอดอีกครั้งที่กรุงเทพฯ ก่อนบินต่อไปยังเกาหลีเหนือ เมื่อรับสินค้า
เรียบร้อยแล้ว ก็บินมาเติมน้ำมันที่กรุงเทพฯ

เพื่อที่จะบินต่อไปที่สาธารณรัฐสังคมนิยมประชาธิปไตยศรีลังกา ก่อนจะกลับอูเครน

๔. ขณะนี้ ลูกเรือทั้ง ๕ คน ถูกกล่าวหาว่า ‘ให้การเท็จ’ เพราะใบสำแดงสินค้าระบุว่าเป็นเครื่องมือ
ขุดเจาะดิน แต่สินค้าที่แท้จริงเป็นอาวุธ ‘พยายามส่งอาวุธเถื่อนผ่านไทย’ และ ‘มีอาวุธสงคราม
ในการครอบครอง’

๕. ลูกเรือมีอายุตั้งแต่ ๕๓-๕๘ ปี ดูจากภาพในหนังสือพิมพ์ก็รู้ว่าเป็นนักบินทหารอาวุโส โดยมี
ชาวเบลารุสเป็นกัปตัน ส่วนชาวคาซัคอีก ๔ คนเป็นลูกเรือ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตคาซัคสถาน
ประจำไทยขอประกันตัว แต่ทางราชการไทยปฏิเสธ

๖. จอร์เจียเป็นศัตรูกับรัสเซีย เมื่อสิงหาคม ๒๕๕๑ ก็มีการสู้รบกันหนัก จอร์เจีย
ประเทศเล็กกล้าหาญชาญชัย รบกับประเทศใหญ่รัสเซีย เพราะได้สหรัฐอเมริกาหนุน
และได้อาวุธจากอูเครน ผมจึงไม่เข้าใจว่า ทำไมไอ้เครื่องบินบ้าลำนี้ซึ่งขนอาวุธเถื่อนมาเต็มลำ
จึงเลือกบินมาเติมน้ำมันที่กรุงเทพฯ แถมยังทะลึ่งเติมถึง ๒ ขา ทั้งขาไปและกลับ แทนที่จะเลือก
เติมน้ำมันที่พม่าหรือจีน ในข่าวบวงนอกบอกว่าลงฉุกเฉิน หรือ emergency landing
แต่ข่าววงในบอกว่า อ้า ไม่ใช่การลงฉุกเฉิน

๗. หากขนอาวุธไปที่อูเครน ก็เหมือนส่งอาวุธให้จอร์เจีย

๘. สื่อมวลชนหลายฉบับนำคำพูดของนักการเมืองและข้าราชการไทยระดับสูงมาลงว่า
การจับกุมครั้งนี้ เป็นผลงานร่วมกันระหว่างหน่วยงานข่าวกรองของสหรัฐ อเมริกาและ
รัฐบาลไทย ต่อมาเมื่อเวลา ๒๒.๐๐ น.ของคืนวันเสาร์ สถานเอกอัครราชทูตอเมริกัน
ออกมาปฏิเสธข่าวว่า ‘ไม่ทราบเรื่อง’ หลังจากนั้น เว็บไซต์ที่แพร่คำให้สัมภาษณ์ของ
ผู้ใหญ่ทางฝ่ายไทยลบข่าวเรื่องการปฏิบัติการร่วมระหว่างไทยและสหรัฐอเมริกาทุกเว็บ
แต่พวกเราได้เซฟเว็บเหล่านั้นเอาไว้ทั้งหมด

๙. เป็นไปได้ว่า สหรัฐอเมริกาทราบอยู่แล้ว ว่าจะมีการขนอาวุธมาลงที่ประเทศไทย
แต่ผมก็ไม่เข้าใจว่า ทำให้สหรัฐอเมริกาจึงต้องปฏิเสธว่าไม่รู้เรื่องการจับกุมครั้งนี้หรือกลัวว่า
ตนจะเสียหน้า

๑๐. โดยปกติ เรื่องที่เกี่ยวดองหนองยุ่งกับการก่อการร้ายทั้งหลายทำให้แผ่นดินไทยวุ่นวาย
ขายปลาช่อนมากอยู่แล้ว ไม่ว่าเรื่องการปิดสถานทูตอิรักประจำประเทศไทยโดยคำแนะนำ
ของเอกอัครราชทูตอเมริกัน การจับกุมนายฮัมบาลี ผู้ก่อการร้ายหมายเลขหนึ่งของเอเชีย
ตะวันออกเฉียงใต้ที่จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา การจับนายวิคเตอร์ บุท นักขนส่ง
ทางอากาศ ชาวรัสเซีย ซึ่งทางการและประชาชนคนรัสเซียยังโกรธรัฐบาลไทย
จนกระทั่งปัจจุบันทุกวันนี้ ฯลฯ
๑๑. หากจุดหมายปลายทางของอาวุธอยู่ที่อูเครนจริง นั้นหมายความว่า นับต่อแต่นี้ไป
ราชอาณาจักรไทย จะถูกผูกระโนงโยงเยงกับปัญหาขัดแย้งระหว่างอเมริกา อูเครน
จอร์เจีย และรัสเซีย โดยไม่ได้ตั้งใจ หรือเพราะความอยากดังของไอ้ปี๊ด

๑๒. รัฐบาลไทยควรให้ผู้เชี่ยวชาญภาษารัสเซียเข้าไปอ่านเว็บไซต์ของรัสเซีย ซึ่งขณะนี้เรื่อง
การจับเครื่องบินลำเลียง แบบทหารที่สนามบินดอนเมืองเป็นหัวข้อที่ร้อนที่สุด
และอาจจะกระทบกับความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างไทยกับประเทศต่างๆ ได้

๑๓. นายเวฬุพิลัย ประภาการันต์ ผู้นำกบฏพยัคฆ์ทมิฬอีแลมถูกยิงตายกลายเป็นผีไปอยู่ที่ปิตติวิสัย

เอเอฟพี - ประธานาธิบดี มิคาอิล ซาคาสวีลี กล่าวเมื่อวันศุกร์(โลกจะตกอยู่ใน "ปัญหา"
หากว่ารัสเซีย เพิกเฉยต่อการโจมตีภายในประเทศของเขา ขณะที่รัฐมนตรีต่างประเทศเครมลิน
อ้างได้รับรายงานฆ่าล้างเผ่าพันธุ์ ในเซาท์ออสเซเตีย ท่ามกลางการรุกรานของจอร์เจีย
เพื่อยึดดินแดนที่แยกตัวออกมาและถูกควบคุมโดยกลุ่มกบฏคืน

กองทัพจอร์เจียบุกโจมตีเซาท์ ออสเซเทีย ซึ่งเป็นดินแดนของกลุ่มกบฏอย่างรุนแรง
ใกล้เมืองทซฮินวาลี ตลอดคืนที่ผ่านมา ทำให้มีผู้ได้รับบาดเจ็บและเสียชีวิตจำนวนมาก

หัวหน้ากองกำลังรักษาสันติภาพของจอร์เจียกล่าวว่า รัฐบาลตัดสินใจที่จะฟื้นคำสั่งตามรัฐธรรมนูญ
ในภูมิภาค ซึ่งแยกตัวออกจากการควบคุมของรัฐบาลทบิลิซีเมื่อต้นทศวรรษที่ 1990 โดยการส่ง
กองกำลังไปล้อมดินแดนดังกล่าว แต่ไม่ได้มีความตั้งใจที่จะจู่โจมเมืองทซฮินวาลี เพียงแต่ต้องการ

ด้านนายกรัฐมนตรีวลาดิมีร์ ปูตินของรัสเซีย ซึ่งเดินทางไปร่วมพิธีเปิด
การแข่งขันโอลิมปิกในกรุงปักกิ่ง ได้ประณามการโจมตีเซาท์ออสเซเตียของเจอร์เจียว่า
เป็นการกระทำที่แข็งกร้าว ซึ่งบีบให้รัสเซียต้องตอบโต้ ด้วยการได้ส่งเครื่องบินซูฮอย-24 จำนวน 3 ลำ
ไปยังจอร์เจีย และเครื่องบิน 1 ในนั้นได้ทิ้งระเบิด 2 ลูกลงใกล้กับ สถานีตำรวจคาเรลีของจอร์เจีย

ขณะที่เซอร์เก ลาฟรอฟ รัฐมนตรีต่างประเทศของรัสเซีย ระบุว่าได้รับรายงานฆ่าล้างเผ่าพันธุ์ ในหมู่บ้าน
ในเซาท์ออสเซเตีย ดินแดนที่ถูกจอร์เจียรุกราน "เราได้ยินข่าวเกี่ยวกับล้างเผ่าพันธุ์ในหลายหมู่บ้าน

การสู้รบที่ขยายตัวขึ้น ในจอร์เจียกับกลุ่มกบฏฝักใฝ่มอสโก ในเขตปกครองตนเองเซาท์ออสเซเตีย
ซึ่งอยู่ในสาธารณรัฐจอร์เจีย และอีกครึ่งหนึ่งอยู่ในรัสเซีย

"มันเหมือนการโจมตีเข้าสู่ในอัฟกานิสถานในปี 1979 มันเหมือนเชกโกสโลวาเกีย เมื่อครั้งที่รถถังโซเวียต
และรัสเซีย เคลื่อนตัวเข้าไป" เขากล่าวกับซีเอ็นเอ็น "ถ้าพวกเขายังเพิกเฉยต่อเรื่องนี้ในจอร์เจีย
โลกจะตกอยู่ในปัญหา"

นอกจากนี้เขายังกล่าวหารัสเซียว่ากะเก็งเวลาโจมตีจอร์เจียในช่วงเริ่มต้นกีฬาโอลิมปิกสัปดาห์นี้
"ทำไมถึงเลือกช่วงเวลานี้ ลองดูซิ โอลิมปิกเกมส์ ไม่มีใครสนใจการเมือง ยังมีการเลือกตั้งสหรัฐฯ
แน่นอน...ผู้ตัดสินใจส่วนใหญ่เดินทางไปเพื่อพักผ่อน มันเป็นเวลาที่หลักแหลมในการโจมตีประเทศเล็กๆ"

เขาอ้างอีกว่ารัสเซียเตรียมการโจมตีครั้งนี้มานานหลายปี ส่วนหนึ่งเพราะความใกล้ชิดของ
จอร์เจีย ที่มีกับชาติตะวันตกและสหรัฐอเมริกา

โฆษกรัฐมนตรีกระทรวงมหาดไทยของจอร์เจียอ้างว่ากองทัพอากาศของพวกเขา ได้ยิงเครื่องรบ 2 ลำ
ของรัสเซียตก ระหว่างสู้รบเมื่อวันศุกร์ "เรือรบรัสเซีย 2 ลำ ถูกยิงร่วงโดยกองทัพอากาศจอร์เจีย"

ทหารรัสเซียเคลื่อนขบวนรถถังและกำลังพลเข้าไปยังเมืองเอกของเซาท์ออสเซเตีย เพื่อปกป้อง
พลเมืองชาวรัสเซีย ในพื้นที่ ภายหลังจากกองกำลังจอร์เจียปฏิบัติการโจมตีเซาท์ออสเซเตียอย่างหนัก

On Thursday, August 7th, Georgian armed forces entered into the breakaway region of South Ossetia
to assert Georgian governance of the region - a de facto (yet largely unrecognized) independent republic that
has support from neighboring Russia. Russia responded on August 8th by sending its own military into Georgia -
not only into region of South Ossetia - but also into the nearby breakaway republic of Abkhazia and deeper
into Georgia itself. Many Airstrikes and ground skirmishes have taken place since, with several parties calling for
a cease-fire, but no agreement as yet. Those paying the highest price for the war are the South Ossetian civilians,

The US chartered plane carrying American marines among 205 passengers to Bangkok,
which was ordered by authorities to land at Mumbai airport for flying over Indian airspace
without getting mandatory military clearance, took off on Monday after being grounded for over 33 hours.
The aircraft was ordered to land in Mumbai on Sunday after it entered Indian airspace as
there was some confusion about its call sign, a Mumbai airport official said.
The US military chartered Boeing 767 plane, belonging to North American Airlines,
was on way from Fujiriah in the UAE to Utapao in Bangkok. It landed at Mumbai airport
at 0752 hours yesterday and was parked at a remote bay.
After clearance of necessary regulatory permissions and payment of navigational charges,
the aircraft was allowed by Indian Air Force (IAF) and Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA)
to resume its flight, also following a probe, according to a Mumbai Air Traffic Control (ATC) official.
Foreign military aircraft have to obtain two sets of clearances before flying over India.
As the aircraft was carrying military personnel, it should have obtained Air Operation Routing
clearance (AOR), needed for a military aircraft. Hence the aircraft when it entered Indian air space,
the IAF ordered it through radio communication to land in Mumbai.
This is the fourth incident of a foreign aircraft violating rules relating to obtaining
of clearance to fly over Indian airspace or other disputes since June this year.

On June 20, [size=18]a Ukrainian-made military cargo aircraft AN-124,
chartered by US defence forces for flying out military equipment from
its base in Diego Garcia Island to Kandahar in Afghanistan,
was caught in a similar situation. The IAF had ordered it to land in Mumbai.
It was detained for 24 hours and was asked to fly out after it obtained necessary clearance.

An elite US cyber team that has stealthily tracked Internet villains for more that a decade
pulled back its cloak of secrecy to recruit hackers at a notorious DefCon gathering here Sunday.
Vigilant was described by its chief Chet Uber as a sort of cyber "A-Team" taking on terrorists,
drug cartels, mobsters and other enemies on the Internet.

"We do things the government can't," Uber said. "This was never supposed to have been
a public thing."Vigilant is an alliance of slightly more than 600 volunteers and its secret ranks
reportedly include chiefs of technology at top firms and former high-ranking US cyber spies.
The group scours Internet traffic for clues about online attacks, terrorists, cartels and
other targets rated as priorities by members of the democratically run private organization.

Vigilant also claimed to have "collection officers" in 22 countries that gather intelligence or
coordinate networks in person. "We go into bars, look for lists of bad actors, get tips from people..."
Uber said."But, a significant amount of our intelligence comes from our monitoring the Internet.
We are looking at everything on websites, and websites are public."He was adamant that

Two years and 100 mln dollars buys winning cyber army

Las Vegas, Nevada (AFP) Aug 1, 2010 -

A computer espionage specialist has laid out blueprints for building a cyber army capable of
crashing through US defenses.Readying an unstoppable Internet invasion would take two years
and a total of 100 million dollars, according to Charlie Miller, who spent five years with
the US National Security Agency under then-director Michael Hayden.Now a researcher with
Baltimore-based Independent Security Evaluators, Miller on Saturday shared his battle plan
with hackers at a DefCon gathering in Las Vegas."I pretended North Korea asked me to
scope out the job of orchestrating a cyber attack on the United States," Miller told AFP. "
I lay it out as I would do it realistically."Miller explained that he had actually been asked by
the Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Estonia to play general in the theoretical
attack scenario.

He shared his results at a NATO briefing in that country in June.
"I already knew it was easy, but now I know in detail how easy it would be," said.
"We are certainly very vulnerable." Miller described the 100-million-dollar price tag as
a bargain compared to how much money is spent on cyber defense.

He crafted a broad strategy to target smart grids, banks, communications and all other aspects of
a nation's technology infrastructure. The cyber army would number about a thousand soldiers
ranging from elite computer commandos to basic college trained geeks, according to the plan.
A key to success was stealthily breaching networks and establishing beachheads in
computer systems during the two years before the main cyber invasion."Once you give me
two years to get set up you are basically screwed," Miller said. "But, during the two years you have
the opportunity to see what is going on and stop it before it gets going."

Miller determined that single targets, such as stock market or military networks, could be attacked
much more economically.North Korea was used in the war scenario on the premise that it has
a tactical advantage in being so behind the technology times that crashing the entire global internet
would leave it unscathed.North Korea was also seen as unconstrained by alliances or friendships
with other countries with more to lose in an Internet Armageddon.

"It could be anyone attacking anyone, but North Korea has an advantage," he said of his winning
cyber battle plan. "Some countries could already be in position. We can chose to limit our dependency
on the Internet, which isn't realistic, or do our best to detect it and use politics to prevent it."
Miller took solace in the belief that some of the top computer experts needed to execute his plan
would likely refuse to cooperate out of patriotism, morality, or plain fear.

"They might be scared you are going to kill them," Miller said. "It's a realistic thing to think about."
National Security Corporation president Mark Harding recalled graduating from officers school in
the Navy having completed a thesis on how unprepared the country's military is for cyber war.

"There are people I know who have indicated they can take the entire Internet down and they can,"
Harding said."But, they don't because they believe in doing no damage and not taking anything
that isn't theirs. It's when you lack a skill set of morality and discipline when you end up on
the dark side."

U.S. agencies work on language capability

Washington (UPI) Jul 30, 2010 -

How do you bridge a language gap when you're not sure how big that gap is, exactly, or quite
where the bridge is heading in the first place? Officials from various governmental departments
in the United States are struggling to answer that question. Although representatives from
the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Defense and the Government Accountability
Office agree that having personnel who are fluent in languages other than English is becoming
more vital, they're struggling to measure success at attaining that goal.

A U.S. Senate Homeland Security subcommittee Thursday addressed that issue.

"Foreign language proficiency and cultural understanding are essential to protecting our national
interests," U.S. Sen. Daniel Akaka, D-Hawaii, said at the hearing. "Threats to our national security
are becoming more complex, interconnected and unconventional." Attempts to increase language
proficiency among U.S government employees, though, are meeting with limited success.

A GAO report released last year found that nearly one-third of foreign service officers working
in the Department of State didn't meet the job's language requirements. "What troubles me is that
73 percent of (foreign service officers) serving in Afghanistan and 57 percent serving in Iraq do not
meet the language proficiency requirements of their positions," Akaka said.

Additionally, a GAO report released Thursday indicates that measuring the departments' success
at bridging those language gaps is difficult at best. The study focused on efforts by the State, Defense
and Homeland Security departments. "What we found was not encouraging," said David Maurer,
who heads the Homeland Security and Justice Team at the GAO. Maurer acknowledged that
the particular results varied from one department to the next, but that, overall, U.S. workers,
aren't as prepared in other languages as they should be. He advocates a more systematic approach
to addressing shortfalls. "We're not really in a position to really assess whether or not existing programs
are adequate," Maurer said. "We don't really have a sense for what the departments actually need."

What the departments struggle with, the most recent GAO findings indicate, is how to measure
success or failure while they lack a specific goal, a "comprehensive strategic plan."

For David Chu, former undersecretary for personnel and readiness at the Defense Department,
the best solution is a longer-term one. "Through K-12 language instruction, I believe the country
can build a much better base for superior linguistic success," Chu said. In researching this approach,
Dan Davidson, president of American Councils for International Education, was encouraged.

"We established that there are 3,500 K-12 programs in the United States as of May 2009 focused on
the critical languages alone," Davidson said, twice the number experts believed existed.

American students now have "quite robust expectations of learning foreign languages, studying
overseas and pursuing an internationally focused career," he said. Ultimately, Chu and Davidson argue,
education communities are more suited to address the government's language challenges than are
defense communities.

อีกทั้งคนไทยไม่นิยมเป็นฮีโร่คนเดียว กลัวไม่มีพวก เรื่องแบบนี้เกิดขึ้นยาก การกระทำแบบ
ที่ทหารอเมริกันทำกับคนท้องถิ่นนั้นจะมีหรือไม่ คนไทยส่วนใหญ่ยกเว้นนักสิทธิมนุษยชน
จะไม่สนใจ เพราะมุ่งหวังในความสงบโดยรวม ประเด็นนี้อาจดีในแง่เสถียรภาพของชาติหรือ
ของหน่วยงาน แต่ในบางมุมเป็นเรื่องพูดไม่ออกบอกไม่ถูก เช่น ผู้รู้ความลับทุจริตบางหน่วยงาน
อาจถูกสั่งให้หุบปากไว้ เพราะโวยวายมากไปหัวหน้าหน่วยโดนย้ายแล้วจะทำให้ทั้งหน่วยลำบาก

เรื่องบางเรื่องอาจส่งผลกระทบออกไปไกลมากก็เป็นได้ เช่น เราไม่รู้ว่าข้อมูลความลับ
ที่หายไป พร้อมกับฮาร์ดดิสต์ที่ทำเนียบรัฐบาลเมื่อ ปี 2551 จะถูกใครนำไปใช้ประโยชน์
อะไรได้บ้างสังคมดูเหมือนจะรับได้กับการเงียบไว้ แล้วค่อยไปแก้ไขตามอาการเอาทีหลัง
หากเกิดอะไรขึ้น ไม่เกิดก็แล้วไป

ตอกย้ำเทรนด์แรงยอดนิยมของแอปพลิเคชันประเภท Mobile geo-location application ที่ผู้ใช้จะ
สามารถแบ่งปันข้อมูลตำแหน่งสถานที่แหล่งช็อปปิ้ง ร้านอาหาร และย่านพักผ่อนที่ได้ไปเยือน
กับเพื่อนฝูงและคนรู้จักได้ผ่านโทรศัพท์เคลื่อน ที่ ล่าสุด เครือข่ายสังคมยักษ์ใหญ่อย่างเฟสบุ๊ก
(Facebook) ประกาศร่วมขบวนเทรนด์โลกที่เกิดขึ้นด้วยการเปิดฟีเจอร์ใหม่นามว่า "Facebook Places"

ที่ สำคัญ เชื่อว่านับจากนี้ เทรนด์โพสต์ข้อมูลตำแหน่งสถานที่กำลังจะแพร่หลาย
ในผู้ใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตวง กว้าง เนื่องจากจำนวนสมาชิกของเฟสบุ๊กที่มีอยู่มากกว่า 500 ล้านคน

เฟสบุ๊กระบุว่า บริการ Places นี้จะเปิดให้สมาชิกเฟสบุ๊กสามารถ check in หรือการแจ้งให้
ระบบทราบตำแหน่งสถานที่ที่อยู่ของผู้ใช้ แล้วประกาศไว้บนเฟสบุ๊ก โดยเฟสบุ๊กจะนำฟีเจอร์ใหม่นี้ไป

แพร่หลายของ แอปพลิเคชันสมาร์ทโฟน หลักการทำงานของโปรแกรมเหล่านี้คือ ผู้ใช้สามารถ

Check in ในโปรแกรม Foursquare เพื่อแสดงสถานะในเฟสบุ๊กได้ ซึ่งปัจจุบันสามารถทำได้
ผ่านโปรแกรมเสริมเท่านั้น

น่าเสียดายที่เฟสบุ๊กจะให้บริการ Facebook Places เฉพาะในสหรัฐฯช่วงแรก
ก่อนจะขยายในพื้นที่อื่นและอุปกรณ์อื่นต่อไป

อย่างไรก็ตาม ยังคงมีความกังวลว่าฟีเจอร์ดังกล่าวจะทำให้ผู้ใช้สูญเสียความเป็นส่วนตัวมาก

Now “Wiki-Leaks” is busy selling phony bin Laden stories, having the long dead
Osama humiliating the CIA by running around villages in Afghanistan selling
vacuum cleaners. What is our “leak” site really about? This is a dead news cycle.
The World Cup is over, lots of people on holiday and no major stories. Only in a dead news
period like this, as Oliver Stone pointed out, could the Israeli controlled media dump
a pile of lame rumors mixed in with box loads of chickenfeed, passing it off as the story
of the century.

Even the cover story, the mysterious Assange fleeing the murderous CIA,
working to save the world is lame. WikiLeaks is lame. Please, everyone,
go to the site and read everything there. I have seen more confidential information
on a weather report. Assange is hardly a James Bond figure.
Woody Allen is masculine in comparison.

Journalists all get leaks, and frankly, we don’t print most of them. Some we can’t trust.
Some are just too dangerous. Some are simply illegal. Some are blatantly self serving
Israeli propaganda coated with a veneer of anti-Americanism. This is “Wiki-leaks” material.
What is important is what they don’t print. The only things that come out about Israel,
the country most vulnerable to leaks, the country always up to the most skulduggery,
is an occasional harmless story like their major leak on East Jerusalem settlements.
It hit the New York Times first.

When you read Mr. Assange’s output, you are looking at one of the Mossad games,
nothing more. They send some stories to Fox News, some to CNN, some to the Washington Post
or London Times. They have their pick as their friends and co-workers own those outlets and
so many more. The game today is using Wikileaks, given its 15 minutes of fame for trashing
the US in Iraq with the helicopter video, to spread imaginary stories about Pakistan, the only
nuclear power in the Middle East capable of standing up to Israel and the enemy of India.

India is what it is all really about. Israel is playing India for a fall, drawing them into their games
they way they did with the United States in Iraq and Afghanistan. India will wake up with their
government bought off, blackmailed, up to their neck in wars and insurgencies at home and
fighting Israel’s enemies abroad. India is the next real target for rape, destruction, destabilization
by Israel and our “Wiki-leak” is part of that game.

Another chosen victim, of course, is the United States, hated enemy of Israel, not for public
consumption, however. Check the names of those who looted the American economy. In the top
dresser drawer of 80% of those who took the US into bankruptcy, you will find an Israeli passport.

Did anyone ask why nothing was reported in 90,000 pages regarding
the massive drug dealing in Afghanistan? With stories in the press around the world
reporting that President Karzai and his brother are the biggest druglords in the world,
why would this not be mentioned? Is it because Karzai is a good friend
of the Indo-Israeli alliance that runs Wiki-leaks?

Classified Army documents are filled to the brim with reports that the CIA and their private
contractors are involved in drug operations with Karzai but also other names are named
including many prominent Americans, some members of congress. I won’t leak their names
but I know they are in the documents. If Wiki got what they say they got, then most of their
documents would have reported corruption, drug dealing, governments of a dozen countries
would have been mentioned.

If real leaks were made public and we did something about it, first by arresting the gangsters
and spies filling congress, the White House and every federal agency, we might balance
our budget but who would be left to do the Sunday morning talk shows? If you want the names
of those who would really be on leaked documents, check your TV listings. It isn’t a coincidence.
Those chosen to lie on television are also being paid for other duties as well.

Israel would have been cited for laundering drug money for the Taliban. It is in the documents.
I didn’t release them. That is illegal.

BG Asif Haroon Raja of Pakistan, former Attache to Egypt and respected intelligence
analyst had the following to say about the Wiki barrage:

“Unsubstantiated and fabricated allegations against Pakistan and its premier institutions
are so absurd and decayed that it gives nausea to the reader. Only ones who enjoy the stale jokes
are its manufacturers or the game players. ISI-Taliban closeness has been drummed up in such
a manner as if it is the biggest sin ever committed. Each time it is presented with a new flavor
to make it look more breathtaking. This unholy practice has been going on systematically and
incessantly for the last six years to condition the minds of the world audience and to convert
falsehood into truth. Story of this nature is routinely published in western media every fortnightly.

In the last few months write ups on this subject have suddenly gained impetus. Previously,
accusations were in the form of allegations made by newspapers and think tanks.
Now top US civil and military officials have jumped into the arena with loins girded up and
have started using high handed tactics openly without caring for diplomatic decorum.

Propaganda assault together with verbal assaults by visiting officials and drone attacks
have become a norm. They have become xenophobic and overbearing. This can be gauged
from the mood of the three US visitors who visited Islamabad recently.

Prickly Hillary Clinton can see ghost of Osama sauntering in Pakistan each time she lands
in Pakistan . Through her lens she sees ISI in cahoots with Taliban. She again reminded
our harried rulers that any attack on US homeland with connection to Pakistan would have
devastating consequences upon Pak-US relations. She conceitedly dangled few carrots
to make them do more. Grim looking Holbrooke and tense ridden Adm. Mike Mullen harbored
similar ideas. The trio wanted Pak Army to cut off its entire links with Taliban, consider Indians
as friends and to promptly launch an operation in North Waziristan to chase out Haqqani network
and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), the two outfits most dreaded by USA . LeT has been put on the hit list
to please India .

Wikileaks is a follow up of London Report and some of the objectives behind it are to keep
Pakistan pressured and cornered, authenticate Indian allegations about ISI’s involvement in
various acts of terror in Afghanistan, demonise LeT and defame ISI, exert pressure on
Obama Administration to affect a change in its policy of softness towards Pakistan, reconciliation
with Taliban and withdrawal of coalition forces. India together with Northern Alliance and
pro-war American senior officials are possibly behind the Wikileaks scandal. This report is
less harmful for Pakistan and more injurious for USA since source reports on Pakistan mostly
provided by RAAM and RAW agents were never taken seriously by the receivers.
Receiving officers have been noting their remarks on such reports as lacking in authenticity,
biased and devoid of credibility. Moreover, such manipulated leakages would further widen
rather than build trust gap between USA and Pakistan .”

When Joe Biden and General Petraeus both reported that Israel was endangering American troops,
the classified portion of this involved Israeli operations in Afghanistan, which are extensive.
Why would General Petraeus have gone to congress about Israel if he didn’t have documents?
We couldn’t manage to leak those also? They are all over Washington, anyone could pick them up.
They just don’t. Ask Oliver Stone why.

Hundreds of pages of reports of Israeli and Indian operatives in Pakistan’s region called
Baluchistan were tossed out also. Their involvement in terrorism, not only against Iran
but working directly with the Taliban in Pakistan was there but not included.
So much wasn’t included.

Nothing involving drug flights being serviced by Israeli companies was released.
It was in the files. If we really want to leak things, they are out there. It can get bloody.

Wikileaks leaves a trail of stench from Mr. Assange right to Tel Aviv.
If anyone couldn’t see it, the corporate press or the Israeli press or
the Zionist press or whatever the current buzz word is for the useless press,
they put you on the path. They are the ones putting a spotlight on the disinformation
and failing miserably to note how obviously the leaks have been edited to serve
Israeli games.

Wikileaks is Israel. Assange works for them, I hope not unwittingly. I hate it
when people are duped. I would rather he were paid or being blackmailed.
I always want the useless to be rewarded in this life because,
just in case their is another one after this, they know what they can expect there.

It won’t be pleasant.

I didn’t want to write this, add to the problem. Even negative publicity is publicity.
Every time I am attacked, my readership goes up dramatically. It almost encourages one
to be abrasive and unnecessarily controversial, like with Fox News.

Let’s cut this short. Wikileaks is simply another ploy by the ultra powerful
Israel lobby, a cheap game meant to humiliate the United States, destroy Paksitan
and build a reputation for a puppet. I suspect it will fail. I hope this effort is useful
in that endeavor.
