"That's Impossible!" (2009)

That's Impossible! is a science-based documentary on the History Channel
narrated by Jonathan Frakes, best known for Lieutenant Commander William T. Riker,
on Star Trek: The Next Generation. The show deals with everything from lasers and
mind control to weather warfare. The series also mentions HAARP, a program that
deals with the ionosphere. Leading scientists like Nick Pope discuss various aspects
of the proposed technology. The first episode was about weather warfare.
The second was about lasers, and their possible use in warfare by 2025 and
maybe even by our troops. The third episode, which aired last night,
was about mind control.

การเดินทางข้ามเวลา

การเดินทางข้ามเวลา เป็นเรื่องที่เรามักจะอ่านพบในนิยายวิทยาศาสตร์หลายๆ เรื่อง
อันที่จริงแล้วการเดินทางข้ามเวลา ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงแค่เรื่องเพ้อฝันในนิยายเท่านั้น
หากแต่ในความเป็นจริงแล้วได้มีการเดินทางข้ามเวลาเกิดขึ้นจริงๆ!

เพียงแต่ว่าการเดินทางข้ามเวลาที่เกิดขึ้นนั้น เป็นเหตุบังเอิญที่เกิดจากการทดลอง
โครงการลับที่ใช้ในทางทหาร สมัยสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2

โครงการ "เรนโบว์"

ในช่วงสงครามโลกครั้งที่ 2 กองทัพเรือสหรัฐ ได้ทดลองเทคโนโลยีใหม่ๆ ทางการทหาร
เพื่อนำไปใช้ในการสงครามหนึ่งในการทดลองนั้นคือ การพยายามทำให้เรือพิฆาตไม่ปรากฏ
บนจอเรดาร์ซึ่งอาจกล่าวได้ว่า เป็นการทดลองเทคโนโลยีล่องหนครั้งแรกของโลก



โครงการ "เรนโบว์" (Project Rainbow)

หรือที่รู้จักกันในอีกชื่อหนึ่งว่า การทดลองฟิลาเดลเฟีย (Philadelphia Experiment)
ได้ทำการทดลองขึ้นที่ฐานทัพเรือสหรัฐในฟิลาเดเฟีย ในเดือนกรกฏาคม ค.ศ. 1943
โดยการใช้เครื่องสร้างพลังงานสนามแม่เหล็กขนาดใหญ่ติดตั้งบนเรือรบ

สนามแม่เหล็กที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นจะทำการเบี่ยงเบนคลื่นเรดาร์ ทำให้คลื่นเรดาร์ไม่กระทบลำเรือ
และสะท้อนกลับไปยังตัวรับสัญญาณข้าศึกจึงไม่สามารถใช้เรดาร์ในการตรวจจับเรือรบดังกล่าวได้
ไม่เพียงแต่เท่านั้นสนามแม่เหล็กยังได้หักเหการเดินทางของแสงทำให้เรามองไม่เห็นมันอีกด้วย
ซึ่งหลักการดังกล่าวเหมือนกับการที่เราเห็นภาพลวงตาบนท้องถนนในวันที่แดดแรง (Mirage)



เปิดตำนาน

เช้าวันที่ 22 กรกฏาคม ค.ศ. 1943 เวลา 9:00 น. การทดลองที่นำไปสู่การเดินทางข้ามเวลา
ได้เริ่มขึ้นบนเรือพิฆาต เอลดริจ หรือ ดีอี173 (USS Eldridge - DE-173)



เครื่องสร้างพลังงานสนามแม่เหล็กเริ่มทำงานมันสร้างหมอกควันสีเขียวขึ้นทีละน้อย
รอบๆ ลำเรือ และเมื่อหมอกควันสีเขียวเริ่มจางลง เรือเอลดริจ ก็หายไปจากจอเรดาร์
และจากสายตาผู้คนที่เฝ้าดูการทดลองครั้งนั้น

ประมาณ 15 นาทีต่อมา ก็มีคำสั่งให้ปิดเครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็ก หมอกควันสีเขียว
เริ่มก่อตัวอีกครั้งหนึ่ง แต่ดูเหมือนจะมีอะไรบางอย่างผิดพลาดอย่างมหันต์!

บรรดาลูกเรือทั้งหมดที่อยู่บนกราบเรือ มีอาการคลื่นเหียน อาเจียน ไม่สามารถควบคุมตัวเองได้
กองทัพเรือมีคำสั่งให้เปลี่ยนลูกเรือชุดใหม่ เพื่อทำการทดลองต่อไป
แต่ ดร. จอห์น ฟอน นิวแมน (Dr. John von Neumann)



นักวิทยาศาสตร์ผู้รับผิดชอบการทดลองครั้งนี้ ได้คัดค้านขอให้ยุติ
การทดลองไว้ชั่วคราว เพื่อขอเวลาในการตรวจหาสาเหตุและทำการแก้ไขเสียก่อน

กองทัพเรือขีดเส้นตายให้กับ ดร. จอห์น ไว้แค่วันที่ 12 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1943 หรือเพียง
ไม่ถึง 3 สัปดาห์เท่านั้น โดยไม่ได้ให้เหตุผลเลยว่าทำไมการทดลองจึงต้องมีขึ้นภายใน
วันที่ 12 สิงหาคม นอกเสียจากบอกกับ ดร. จอห์น ว่า พวกเขายังไม่ต้องการให้เรือรบหายไปจริงๆ
จากสายตา พวกเขาต้องการเพียงแค่ให้เรือรบไม่ปรากฏบนจอเรดาร์เท่านั้น

การทดลองครั้งประวัติศาสตร์
หลังจากที่ ดร.จอห์น ได้แก้ไขเครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็กแล้ว การทดลองเรือรบล่องหน
ก็เริ่มขึ้นอีกครั้งในวันเส้นตายที่กองทัพเรือ กำหนดไว้ 12 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1943 ลูกเรือชุดใหม่
ได้ขึ้นประจำการบน เรือพิฆาตเอลดริจ เครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็กเริ่มทำงานเวลาผ่านไป
ราว 60 วินาที ทุกอย่างดูไปได้สวย เรือพิฆาตเอลดริจ เริ่มหายไปจากจอเรดาร์
แต่ก็ยังสามารถมองเห็นเป็นรูปโครงเรือลางๆ ได้ด้วยตา แต่ทันใดนั้นก็เกิดแสงสว่างสีฟ้าวาบขึ้น!

ร่างของลูกเรือ 2 คน ถูกดูดจนตัวติดกับพื้นเรือ เหมือนประหนึ่งว่าร่างกายของเขาเป็นโลหะชิ้นหนึ่ง
เช่นเดียวกับ ลูกเรืออีก 2 คน ที่ถูกผนังเรือดูดเข้าไปจนติดเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของผนัง ส่วนลูกเรือคนที่ 5
นับว่าโชคดีหน่อยที่เพียงแค่แขนข้างหนึ่งของเขาเท่านั้นที่ติดอยู่กับผนังเรือ เขายังมีชีวิตอยู่

ใครคือ "อัลเฟรด เบเลก"
อัลเฟรด เบเลก เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 4 สิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1916 ที่รัฐนิวยอร์ก เดิมทีนั้นเขาชื่อ เอ็ดวาร์ด เอ คาเมรอน
(Edward A. Cameron)
เป็นบุตรชายของ อเล็กซานเดอร์ ดันแคน คาเมรอน ซีเนียร์ (Alexander Duncan Cameron, Sr)
จบการศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก สาขาฟิสิกส์ จากมหาวิทยาลัยเอดินเบอร์ก ประเทศสก็อตแลนด์
ในปี ค.ศ. 1939

ไม่เพียงแต่เท่านั้น อัลเฟรด ยังจบปริญญาตรีและปริญญาโทจากมหาวิทยาลัยพรินสตัน
และกำลังจะศึกษาต่อปริญญาเอกที่ฮาร์วาร์ด อาจเป็นเพราะบิดาของเขาเคยรับราชการ
ในราชนาวีสหรัฐ จึงทำให้ อัลเฟรด และน้องชายของเขา เข้ารับราชการในราชนาวีสหรัฐ เช่นกัน

จากนั้นก็สั่งให้ทุกคนกลับไปที่เรือ และให้ปิดเครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็กโดยเร็ว
การทดลองฟิลาเดเฟีย ในปี ค.ศ. 1943 และการทดลองฟินิกส์ ในปี ค.ศ. 1983 ได้ก่อให้เกิด

ลูกเรือทุกคนที่รอดชีวิตกลับมาได้จากการทดลองครั้งนั้น ได้ถูกรัฐบาลจัดการล้างสมอง
ลบความจำจนหมดสิ้น และได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเสียงเรียงนามเสียใหม่ พร้อมทั้งสร้างข้อมูลชีวิตใหม่
ให้กับพวกเขา และนี่คือเหตุผลที่ เอ็ดวาร์ด เอ คาเมรอน ได้หายไปจากโลก และมี
อัลเฟรด เบเลก ขึ้นมาแทน

ฟื้นความทรงจำ

อย่างที่กล่าวไว้แหละครับ เดิมที อัลเฟรด ได้ถูกรัฐบาล จับไปล้างสมองและลบความทรงจำไป
จนหมดสิ้นแล้ว เขาใช้ชีวิตในชื่อของ อัลเฟรด เบเลก ตลอดมาจนกระทั่งในปี ค.ศ. 1983
บริษัทสร้างภาพยนตร์ยักษ์ใหญ่ของอังกฤษ อี เอ็ม ไอ ตรอน คอร์เปอเรชั่น (EMI Thron Corp.)
ได้สร้างภาพยนตร์เรื่อง การทดลองฟิลาเดลเฟีย (Philadelphia Experiment)



ภาพยนตร์เรื่องเป็นเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับการทดลองที่ อัลเฟรด ได้ประสบมา อีเอ็มไอ
ได้กำหนดฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ ในประเทศสหรัฐช่วงสัปดาห์ที่ 2 ของเดือนสิงหาคม ค.ศ. 1984
แต่เมื่อก่อนจะถึงกำหนดฉายเพียงแค่ 3 วันเท่านั้น ทาง อีเอ็มไอ ก็ได้รับจดหมายจาก
รัฐบาลสหรัฐ มีข้อความว่าพวกเขาไม่ประสงค์ให้มีการฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ในประเทศสหรัฐ

อีเอ็มไอ ได้ลงทุนทำการประชาสัมพันธ์และออกกำหนดการ การฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้แล้ว
อีกทั้งเขาก็เพิ่งจะได้รับ จดหมายห้ามจากสหรัฐเพียงแค่ 3 วันก่อนวันฉาย อีเอ็มไอ

ภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้เข้าฉายในรัฐต่างๆ ทั่วประเทศสหรัฐ เมื่อภาพยนตร์เริ่มฉาย ทาง อีเอ็มไอ
ก็ได้รับจดหมายเตือนฉบับที่ 2 จากสหรัฐอีก แต่คราวนี้ อีเอ็มไอ ไม่สามารถแกล้งโง่ได้อีก
ถึงกระนั้นพวกเขาก็ไม่ยอมหยุดฉายภาพยนตร์ทันทีทันใด แถมยังได้ส่งจดหมายกลับไปว่า
อีเอ็มไอ จะหยุดฉายภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ก็ต่อเมื่อมีคำสั่งห้ามเป็นคำพิพากษาจากศาลเท่านั้น

แน่นอนว่าเรื่องจ้อยๆ แค่นี้ ทำได้ไม่ยากหรอกครับ เพียงแค่ 2 สัปดาห์ต่อมาก็มีคำสั่งจากศาล
ให้หยุดการฉายภาพยนตร์ เรื่องนี้ในประเทศสหรัฐ และภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ก็หายไปจากประเทศสหรัฐ
ถึง 2 ปีเต็มๆ ในระหว่างนั้น อีเอ็มไอ ได้พยายามหาหนทางที่จะนำภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้กลับเข้าไป
ในประเทศสหรัฐ จนกระทั่ง 2 ปีผ่านไปพวกเขาก็ประสบความสำเร็จ โดยผลิตภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้
ออกมาในรูปแบบของวิดิโอเทป และส่งเข้าไปขายในสหรัฐ

เมื่อ อัลเฟรด ได้ชมภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ ความจำของเขาก็เริ่มกลับมา อัลเฟรด กล่าวว่า
ในช่วงต้นเรื่องภาพยนตร์สร้างออกมา ได้ใกล้เคียงความจริงมาก ส่วนช่วงหลังของภาพยนตร์นั้น
มีการเสริมแต่งเรื่องเพื่อให้ภาพยนตร์เป็นที่ประทับใจ

อัลเฟรด ได้พยายามสืบหาผู้ที่รอดชีวิตจากการทดลองครั้งนั้น ในที่สุดเขาก็พบกับ
นาวาตรี อลัน แบชเลอร์ (Lt. Commander Alan Batchelor) ผู้ทำหน้าที่เป็นหัวหน้าลูกเรือ
ในการทดลองฟิลาเดเฟีย อลันจำ อัลเฟรดได้ว่าเขาเป็นหนึ่งในลูกเรือเอลดริจ
และยังบอกกับเขาด้วยว่า เขาไม่ได้ชื่อ อัลเฟรด เบเลก

อลัน ได้สูญเสียความจำบางส่วนไป แต่อย่างน้อยเขาก็จำได้ว่า อัลเฟรด ประจำการอยู่
บนเรือร่วมกับน้องชาย และยังพอจะจำเหตุการณ์สำคัญๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นได้

มาถึงตอนนี้คุณอาจสงสัยว่าเกิดอะไรขึ้นกับน้องชายของอัลเฟรดเขาหายไปไหน?
ผมขอย้อนกลับไปที่เหตุการณ์บนเรือเอลดริจ ตอนที่หลุดเข้าไปในประตูมิติเวลา
ระหว่างที่เหล่าลูกเรือกำลังช่วยกันทำลายเครื่องสร้างสนามพลังอยู่นั้น น้องชายของ อัลเฟรด
ได้ตัดสินใจกระโดดลงจากเรือ ครับเขาอยู่ในปี ค.ศ. 1983 ในขณะที่ลูกเรือคนอื่น
กลับมาในปี ค.ศ. 1943

การทดลองครั้งสุดท้าย

หลังจากที่เกิดการผิดพลาดในการทดลองเมื่อวันที่ 12 สิงหาคม ราชนาวีสหรัฐ
ได้สั่งให้สร้างเครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็กขึ้นมาใหม่
และกำหนดให้มีการทดลองอีกครั้ง แต่คราวนี้จะไม่ลูกเรือ

ราวปลายเดือนตุลาคม เวลาประมาณ 22:00 น. การทดลองได้เริ่มขึ้นอีกครั้ง พวกเขาได้ใช้
สายเคเบิลยาวประมาณ 1,000 ฟุต ผูกติดกับคันบังคับปิด-เปิด เครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็ก
เพื่อใช้เป็นรีโมท (ไม่รู้ว่าจะถือว่าเป็นต้นกำเนิดรีโมทคอนโทรลได้หรือเปล่า?)

เมื่อเครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็กทำงาน เรือเอลดริจก็ได้หายไปจากน่านน้ำในฟิลาเดเฟีย
มีพยานจำนวนมาก เห็นมันไปปรากฏตัวที่ท่าเรือใน นอร์ฟอล์ก รัฐเวอร์จิเนีย
นานเป็นเวลาประมาณ 15 นาที แล้วจู่ๆ มันก็หายตัวไป

เรือเอลดริจ กลับมาปรากฏตัวที่ฟิลาเดเฟียอีกครั้งโดยที่ไม่มีใครปิดเครื่อง
แต่เครื่องสร้างสนามแม่เหล็กได้หยุดทำงานด้วยตัวมันเอง

สหรัฐได้บริจาคเรือลำนี้ให้กับประเทศกรีซ ได้เปลี่ยนชื่อเป็นเรือไลออน โดยที่

Rarely acknowledged in the debate on global climate change,
the world’s weather can now be modified as part of a new generation of sophisticated
electromagnetic weapons. Both the US and Russia have developed capabilities to manipulate
the climate for military use.

Environmental modification techniques have been applied by the US military
for more than half a century. US mathematician John von Neumann, in liaison with
the US Department of Defense, started his research on weather modification in the late 1940s
at the height of the Cold War and foresaw ‘forms of climatic warfare as yet unimagined’.
During the Vietnam war, cloud-seeding techniques were used,
starting in 1967 under Project Popeye,
the objective of which was to prolong the monsoon season and block enemy supply routes
along the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

The US military has developed advanced capabilities that enable it selectively
to alter weather patterns. The technology, which is being perfected under
the High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP),
is an appendage of the Strategic Defense Initiative – ‘Star Wars’. From a military standpoint,
HAARP is a weapon of mass destruction, operating from the outer atmosphere and
capable of destabilising agricultural and ecological systems around the world.

Weather-modification, according to the US Air Force document AF 2025 Final Report,
‘offers the war fighter a wide range of possible options to defeat or coerce an adversary’,
capabilities, it says, extend to the triggering of floods, hurricanes, droughts and earthquakes:
‘Weather modification will become a part of domestic and international security and
could be done unilaterally… It could have offensive and defensive applications and even be used
for deterrence purposes. The ability to generate precipitation, fog and storms on earth or to modify
space weather… and the production of artificial weather all are a part of an integrated set of
[military] technologies.’

In 1977, an international Convention was ratified by the UN General Assembly
which banned ‘military or other hostile use of environmental modification techniques having widespread,
long-lasting or severe effects.’ It defined ‘environmental modification techniques’ as ‘any technique
for changing –through the deliberate manipulation of natural processes – the dynamics, composition
or structure of the earth, including its biota, lithosphere, hydrosphere and atmosphere, or of outer space.’

While the substance of the 1977 Convention was reasserted in the UN Framework Convention
on Climate Change (UNFCCC) signed at the 1992 Earth Summit in Rio, debate on weather modification
for military use has become a scientific taboo.

Military analysts are mute on the subject. Meteorologists are not investigating the matter
and environmentalists are focused on greenhouse gas emissions under the Kyoto Protocol.
Neither is the possibility of climatic or environmental manipulations as part of a military and
intelligence agenda, while tacitly acknowledged, part of the broader debate on climate change
under UN auspices.

The HAARP Programme

Established in 1992, HAARP, based in Gokona, Alaska, is an array of high-powered antennas
that transmit, through high-frequency radio waves, massive amounts of energy into the ionosphere
(the upper layer of the atmosphere). Their construction was funded by the US Air Force,
the US Navy and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA).
Operated jointly by the Air Force Research Laboratory and the Office of Naval Research,
HAARP constitutes a system of powerful antennas capable of creating ‘controlled local modifications
of the ionosphere’. According to its official website, www.haarp.alaska.edu
, HAARP will be used ‘to induce a small, localized change in ionospheric temperature
so physical reactions can be studied by other instruments located either at or close to the HAARP site’.

But Rosalie Bertell, president of the International Institute of Concern for Public Health,
says HAARP operates as ‘a gigantic heater that can cause major disruptions in the ionosphere,
creating not just holes, but long incisions in the protective layer that keeps deadly radiation from
bombarding the planet’.

Physicist Dr Bernard Eastlund called it ‘the largest ionospheric heater ever built’.
HAARP is presented by the US Air Force as a research programme, but military documents
confirm its main objective is to ‘induce ionospheric modifications’ with a view to altering
weather patterns and disrupting communications and radar.

According to a report by the Russian State Duma: ‘The US plans to carry out large-scale
experiments under the HAARP programme [and] create weapons capable of breaking radio
communication lines and equipment installed on spaceships and rockets, provoke serious accidents
in electricity networks and in oil and gas pipelines, and have a negative impact on the mental health
of entire regions.’*

An analysis of statements emanating from the US Air Force points to the unthinkable:
the covert manipulation of weather patterns, communications and electric power systems as
a weapon of global warfare, enabling the US to disrupt and dominate entire regions.
Weather manipulation is the pre-emptive weapon par excellence. It can be directed against
enemy countries or ‘friendly nations’ without their knowledge, used to destabilise economies,
ecosystems and agriculture. It can also trigger havoc in financial and commodity markets.
The disruption in agriculture creates a greater dependency on food aid and imported grain staples
from the US and other Western countries.

HAARP was developed as part of an Anglo-American partnership between Raytheon Corporation,
which owns the HAARP patents, the US Air Force and British Aerospace Systems (BAES).

The HAARP project is one among several collaborative ventures in advanced weapons systems
between the two defence giants. The HAARP project was initiated in 1992 by
Advanced Power Technologies, Inc. (APTI), a subsidiary of Atlantic Richfield Corporation (ARCO).
APTI (including the HAARP patents) was sold by ARCO to E-Systems Inc, in 1994.
E-Systems, on contract to the CIA and US Department of Defense, outfitted the ‘Doomsday Plan’,
which ‘allows the President to manage a nuclear war’.Subsequently acquired by Raytheon Corporation,
it is among the largest intelligence contractors in the World. BAES was involved in the development
of the advanced stage of the HAARP antenna array under a 2004 contract with the Office of Naval Research.

The installation of 132 high frequency transmitters was entrusted by BAES to its US subsidiary,
BAE Systems Inc. The project, according to a July report in Defense News, was undertaken by
BAES’s Electronic Warfare division. In September it received DARPA’s top award for technical
achievement for the design, construction and activation of the HAARP array of antennas.

The HAARP system is fully operational and in many regards dwarfs existing conventional and
strategic weapons systems. While there is no firm evidence of its use for military purposes,
Air Force documents suggest HAARP is an integral part of the militarisation of space.
One would expect the antennas already to have been subjected to routine testing.

Under the UNFCCC, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) has a mandate
‘to assess scientific, technical and socioeconomic information relevant for the understanding
of climate change’. This mandate includes environmental warfare. ‘Geo-engineering’ is acknowledged,
but the underlying military applications are neither the object of policy analysis or scientific research
in the thousands of pages of IPCC reports and supporting documents, based on the expertise and
input of some 2,500 scientists, policymakers and environmentalists. ‘Climatic warfare’ potentially threatens
the future of humanity, but has casually been excluded from the reports for which the IPCC received
the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize.

WEATHER WARFARE

A United States Air Force document from 1996 projected one future scenario
where the American World View became more Global following a major terrorist attack
on the US early in the twenty-first century. This event, along with increasing concern for
the global environment, was postulated to help produce a consensus that the US should act
vigorously to promote stability abroad (Global US World View) despite the frustration of
a Dispersed World Power Grid. This was one of six alternative futures put together by
the U.S. Air Force's best and brightest and their civilian advisors.

With a goal later described as "Full Spectrum Dominance" by the year 2025,
the Air Force backcasted, as opposed to forecasted what "determines the willingness and capability
of the US to take the lead in international affairs." This scenario was called "Gulliver's Travails."

This chilling theme was echoed the next year by Zbigniew Brzezinski,
former U.S. National Security Advisor, in his book The Grand Chessboard.
Brzezinski argues that the key to world power is in Central Asia with its vast oil deposits,
but short of a galvanizing attack by foreigners or terrorists on the scale of Pearl Harbor,
the U.S. public lacked the imperial will to seize world dominance.

On March 19, 1997, Dr. Arnold A. Barnes, Jr. of John Hopkins University and Senior Scientist
at Phillips Laboratory described a key element of Full Spectrum Dominance at the Tecom Test
Technology Symposium in his address on "The Army After Next How Will We Test?
Weather Modification."

Barnes, a consultant on the Air Force study, calmly outlined the history of the U.S. military’s
weather modification programs and what would be needed for future fully-integrated weather
modification capabilities. The good doctor referenced the document "Spacecast 2020," later updated in
"Weather As A Force Multiplier: Owning the Weather in 2025," which noted that "Atmospheric
scientists have pursued terrestrial weather modification in earnest since the 1940’s. . . .
Space presents us with a new arena, technology provides new opportunities. . . "

While Spacecast 2020 had analyzed "the difficulty, cost and risk of developing
a weather control system for military applications" as "extremely high," Barnes offered
a different perspective. He saw "opportunities to capitalize on investment militarily [as] Medium/High"
while the "Political implications/health hazards [were] Medium/Low."

In Barnes' scenario, there had already been a long history of U.S. military weather modification.
During World War II, the U.S. and British military lit fires on runways to disperse fog.
The U.S. Air Force History Office points out on its webpage that "for meteorologists,
a major consequence of World War II was the development of a world weather network utilizing
new equipment and techniques."

The British Royal Air Force and Western scientists engaged in Operation Cumulus
between August 4 and 15, 1952, which, according to a August 30, 2001 BBC broadcast,
was a rainmaking project that led to 35 flood-related deaths in Devon.

Declassified documents show that in 1953 the British military and their allies were experimenting
in increasing rain and snow by artificial means in hopes of "bogging down enemy movement."
They were also interested in "increasing the water flow in rivers and streams to hinder or
stop enemy crossings."

Perhaps more shocking, the documents reveal talk concerning the possibility
"to explode an atomic weapon in a seeded storm system or cloud." This would produce
a far wider area of radioactive contamination than in a normal atomic explosion.

Between November 1955 and April 1956, the U.S. Air Force participated in Project 119-L,
which resulted in a worldwide meteorological survey. If you're going to artificially modify the weather,
you have to be able to predict it first. Barnes referred to the Air Force's ability to create "cloud holes"
using first the chemical "Carbon Black" in the 50's and 60's and later silver iodide.

"From 1961 into 1980 U.S. scientists conducted extensive research into the possibility
of weakening hurricanes with cloud-seeding techniques. The Project was known as Project Storm Fury,"
according to USA Today.

Former Deputy Secretary of Defense Cyrus Vance created a Defense Environmental Services
study group in 1966 "to review the full spectrum of environmental services and R&D within
the Department of Defense."

By early 1967, Operation Popeye was underway. The 54^th Weather Reconnaissance Squadron
took off, in the words of one military official, to "make mud, not war." The military seeded
the clouds over the Ho Chi Minh Trail to create floods and wash out North Vietnamese
supply routes. Dr. Barnes pointed out that "Operation Popeye [was] run by
people from our lab."

Columnist Jack Anderson broke the story about the politically sensitive operation in 1971
paving the way for a Congressional investigation that documented these and other secret weather
modification warfare programs.

As public anger grew, Senator Clayborn Pell of Rhode Island, who originally believed
it was better to be rained on with water than bombs, wrote an editorial in the Providence Journal
Bulletin in 1975 entitled "United States and Other World Powers Should Outlaw Tampering With
Weather for Use as War Weapon."

That year, the U.S. and the Soviets began negotiations to ban weather modification
as a military weapon. On October 10, 1976, the UN produced the treaty "Convention on the Prohibition
of Military or any other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification" (ENMOD). It went into effect on
October 5, 1978, a fact lamented by Dr. Barnes. "Since 1978 the official Air Force position has been
that weather modification has little utility or military payoff as a weapon of war."

Dr. Barnes argued at the Symposium that “The official Air Force position needs to be
reevaluated - especially "In the light of 19 years of scientific advances." While the U.S. and
Soviet military had officially turned away from weather modification as a weapon, their partners in
the private sector filled the gap for the next two decades. ENMOD had a huge loophole that
allowed for the peaceful commercial use of weather modification.

In his paper "Progress in planned weather modification research: 1991-1994,"
Robert Czys of the Atmospheric Science Division of the Illinois State Water Survey reports "
A randomized hail experiment, Grossversuch IV, was conducted in central Switzerland during 1977-1981.
Research groups from France, Italy, and Switzerland participated in the experiment to test
the Soviet hail suppression method." Meanwhile, back at home between 1987 and 1993,
the North Dakota Cloud Modification Program, NDCMP, was underway.

As Dr. Barnes noted, there was "operational and modeling information" from a 1976 scientific
paper showing how "to achieve precipitation enhancement, create cirrus clouds, and to dissipate fog
and low clouds." There were, however, "risks and limitations," particularly the problem of the
“creation of optimum submicron particles” which would pose a danger to health as they fell
through the atmosphere.

But Barnes argued that the new "advanced weapons systems" were "more environmentally sensitive"
and once again, the military should be engaging in weather modification weapons. After all,
the uses were obvious. You could "Deny fresh water" to the enemy, "Induce Drought,"
"Increase Concealment" and "Decrease [the enemy's] Comfort Level/Morale."

Moreover, Dr. Barnes insisted that the weaponization of space is the key to warfare
in the 21^st century. The United States government would later produce a document named
"Joint Vision for 2020" under the auspices of the U.S. Space Command that outlines the plan for
"Full Spectrum Dominance." In the years following Dr. Barnes' presentation on fully integrating
high-tech weather modification into the U.S. military, so-called chemtrail sightings have occurred
throughout the United States and its Western allies.

Barnes embraced the government's HAARP Project in Alaska, also managed by Phillips Laboratory,
as a weapon "to enhance communications and surveillance systems, e.g., over-the-horizon (for both civilian
and defense purposes)."

Weather Modification Inc. signed a contract with Thailand on December 20, 1996 to help
“the southeast Asian country get a better grip on its weather - through "cloud modification."

In the November 13, 1997, the Wall Street Journal reported that the government of Malaysia
had signed a contract with a Russian-owned company to create cyclones to blow pollution out to sea.

The BBC reported on March 5, 1998 that Canadian scientist Dr. Graeme Mather "believes
he has found the Holy Grail of weather science, in the skies over Mexico his claim is being put to
the test. “In my opinion, these convective clouds could be made more efficient by using weather modification,
trying to produce more water from available clouds," Mather said.

In 1998 an American Meteorological Society report conceded that over the past 20 years "
experiments had been carried out on lightning suppression." Dr. Barnes’ interest in lightning had
direct military application, particularly the use of a "Laser Lightning Rod to trigger lightning."
This would enhance the development of the "Airborne Laser (ABL)."

Brzezinski predicted: "Technology will make available, to the leaders of major nations,
techniques for conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces
need be appraised. . . . Technology of weather modification could be employed to produce
prolonged periods of drought or storm."

The Korean Times
reported on January 27 of this year that the South Korean “government is checking up on
the possibility of using weather modification techniques to prevent monsoon rains interrupting
the 2002 World Cup matches. The paper reports "Both the U.S. and Russia have commercialized rain
and hailstorm prevention programs." Meanwhile, North Korea continues to suffer the aftereffects of
a decade-long drought.

which included directly influencing and controlling each hurricane's power and behavior,
as well as directing its course and speed so as to choose its targeting path. Indeed,
Ivan did a 180 degree turn, and Jeanne did a 360 degree loop before reaching Florida,
demonstrating the degree of control available.

Mr. Stevens may be the only NBC weatherman to recognize that scalar electromagnetic waves
are being utilized to control weather 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; however, his awards for
accuracy in weather forecasting are testimony to the fact that he knows about which he is speaking!

* In NEWS1198, we report that Malaysia hired a Russian Weather
Modification company to create a typhoon (hurricane) and steer it close enough to shore to blow
the forest fire smoke from the cities without causing damage -- and then steer the storm out to sea
to harmlessly dissipate it! This news story was carried by the Wall Street Journal, November 13, 1997!

* Also in NEWS1198, we report that a United Nations treaty
was passed and signed in 1997 called, " The Convention on the Prohibition of Military or
Any Other Hostile Use of Environmental Modification Techniques". This treaty prohibits any nation
from creating damaging, hostile weather and using it against another nation! Obviously, no one needs
to pass laws against something where the technology does not exist; in other words, the existence of
this treaty proves that Weather Control and Weather Warfare is real and is a fully functioning science.

However, this UN treaty has one major flaw: it does not forbid political leaders from using
these Weather Warfare weapons against their own people!

HURRICANE KATRINA SEEMS TO BE FOLLOWING
THE SCRIPT OF "OIL STORM" MOVIE
A fascinating aspect of the contemptuous way these "Illumined Ones" (Illuminati) views
the average citizen throughout the world is that they continually signal their plans just before
their agents carry them out. Consider other recent disasters, and the way in which
they were "signaled" just before they occurred:

*Months before the attacks of 9/11, Fox ran a movie entitled, "Lone Gunman" in which
planes were remotely controlled to fly into the Twin Towers.

* While the attacks of 9/11 were occurring, American anti-terrorism units had planes
in the air, "simulating" an attack using airplanes to fly into tall buildings. This so-called
"simulated" practice scenario was called "Vigilant Guardian". Another article which reveals
even more detail is "Agency planned drill for plane crash last Sept. 11"
, Associated Press, August 22, 2002.

* During the London attacks of 7/7/2005, MI5 admitted that their agents were in
the specific area where the attacks actually occurred, carrying out a simulated attack on
the subway system using bombs. ( July 16, 2005, Newsletter, Paragraph V)

In other words, the Illuminati is boldly publishing their plans to the world,
daring its citizens to believe what the facts are trying to tell them. In a football game,
where one opponent is vastly superior to the other, the superior team many times will line up
in an obvious formation, revealing what play they were going to run, daring the inferior team
to stop them! In like manner, the Illuminati has been signaling their intentions,
knowing fully well that the truth is so horrible that the average citizen was not
going to believe what the facts were trying to tell them.

In like manner, FX TV ran a made-for-TV movie entitled "Oil Storm"
on June 5, 2005, which seemed to reveal the script unfolding right before our eyes
in Hurricane Katrina and its aftermath. Let us quickly review the official scenario as provided on
the FX website, realizing that not all the detail contained within the movie is reported
in this brief synopsis. We shall include other details of the movie from a person who actually
watched it on June 5.

Brief Synopsis -- "Oil Storm"

"Oil Storm examines what happens when a category 6 hurricane in the gulf of mexico
slams into Louisiana, crushing the city of New Orleans and crippling the vital pipeline for refined oil
that is Port Fourchon. It examines the ripple effect of that event and the ensuing cascade of disasters
associated with it, through the eyes of public officials, a family in Texas who owns a gas station,
an EMS worker in Boston who has to deal with a brutal winter, and a ranching family in South Dakota
who have their subsidy's completely taken away and question whether we need oil or food to survive.

"As the country reels from the loss of life and energy reserves associated with hurricane's fury,
the price of crude oil skyrockets and the United States government sets forth to take immediate action.
It puts in motion efforts to rebuild the infrastructure of Port Fourchon (8 months minimum) and the sagging
and disabled deep sea rigs in the gulf of Mexico (of equal length). It re-routes activity normally
associated with the Port Fourchon shipping lanes to the port of Houston and compels Houston
to work 24/7 in order to get the crude to our refineries and out to the public."

Now, let us break the details of this movie, comparing them with the facts of Hurricane Katrina.

* "Oil Storm examines what happens when a category 6 hurricane in the gulf of mexico
slams into Louisiana, crushing the city of New Orleans"

At this point, you might say that Katrina weakened to a Category 4 just before she hit New Orleans --
not a Category 6. However, Russian Scientists are reporting that Katrina actually hit New Orleans
with 217 mile-per-hour winds, and that would make her a Category 6 hurricane.

When you read the dozens of articles we have posted on Daily News Updates since August 29,
you will note a level of devastation which seems high, even for a Category 4 hurricane. But, if this hurricane
was a Category 6, then all this devastation makes sense. For example, the roof of the Astrodome was
badly damaged by the high winds, shocking observers who felt that the facility was the one secure place
in New Orleans; winds had to have been very high to rip that roof open.

* "... crippling the vital pipeline for refined oil that is Port Fourchon"

Devastation reigns throughout the 50-mile wide Port of Southern Louisiana. On August 29,
we posted an article on Daily News Updates written before Katrina struck land. We will quote this
article here only in part, but we encourage you to read it in full. ("The Geopolitics of Katrina",
StratFor Intelligence, August 28, 2005)

"A Category 5 hurricane, the most severe type measured, Katrina has been reported
heading directly toward the city of New Orleans. This would be a human catastrophe,
since New Orleans sits in a bowl below sea level. However, Katrina is not only moving on New Orleans.
It also is moving on the Port of Southern Louisiana. Were it to strike directly and furiously,
Katrina would not only take a massive human toll, but also an enormous geopolitical one ...
It is a key link in U.S. imports and exports and critical to the global economy."

"The Port of Southern Louisiana is a river port. It depends on the navigability of
the Mississippi River ... The port might become in whole or part unusable if levees burst.
If the damage to the river and port facilities could not be repaired within 30 days when the U.S.
harvests are at their peak, the effect on global agricultural prices could be substantial."

"There is a large refinery at Belle Chasse. It is the only refinery that is seriously
threatened by the storm, but if it were to be inundated, 250,000 barrels per day would go off line ...
About 2 percent of world crude production and roughly 25 percent of U.S.-produced crude
comes from the Gulf of Mexico and already is affected by Katrina. Platforms in the path of Katrina
have been evacuated but others continue pumping. A narrow, two-lane highway that handles
approximately 10,000 vehicles a day, is used for transport of cargo and petroleum products
and provides port access for thousands of employees is threatened with closure.
A closure of as long as two weeks could rapidly push gasoline prices higher."

* "It puts in motion efforts to rebuild the infrastructure of Port Fourchon (8 months minimum)'
-- In his speech yesterday, President Bush specifically stated that one of the priorities of his
Administration was to "rebuild infrastructure". He mentioned that this type of construction
might take"years" to finish.

* " It examines the ripple effect of that event and the ensuing cascade of disasters associated with it..."
Already, articles are being posted which describe the "rippling effect"
which this disruption of oil products is likely to cause. Some of the anticipated "rippling effects" are:

1) Dramatically higher transportation costs, driving retails higher on all commodities
and hard line goods as well. Retailers would be forced to hike prices across the board.

2) If the trucking industry is forced to undergo fuel rationing, shortages of product
are going to occur. Food might disappear from grocery stores, lines will form again for gasoline,
seasonal retail goods might not arrive in stores on time, factories might have to close
because they cannot get critical supplies when they need them, products which require
refrigerated trucks might rot and farmers harvesting their crops may not be able
to move them to port for shipping.

An interesting fact has also recently occurred, which might come to its complete end
in this aftermath of Hurricane Katrina: S&P (Standard & Poor) recently downgraded the stock of
General Motors and Ford Motor Company to "junk bond" status. Listen:

NEWS BRIEF: "S&P cuts GM, Ford debt ratings to 'junk' status"
, USA Today, May 5, 2005

"DETROIT — The day after General Motors' shares soared on news that activist investor
Kirk Kerkorian intended to double his investment in the ailing automaker, ratings firm Standard & Poor's said
Thursday it is cutting GM (GM) and Ford Motor (F) debt ratings to junk status ... GM's shares dropped 6%
Thursday to $30.86. Ford's fell 4.5% to $9.70.

"S&P analyst Scott Sprinzen said GM and Ford are betting too much on the prospect
that the SUV market will pick up when they introduce new models."

Did you catch the significance of this sentence? GM and Ford are both counting heavily
on their new line of SUV vehicles to prop up sagging sales and profits. However, SUV's are "gas hogs".
In this climate of rapidly increasing retails and gas shortages, buyers are likely to shun SUV's in
favor of models which get much higher gas mileage.

In other words, the market may be about ready to dramatically change consumer preferences.
If this is the case, GM and Ford may find themselves betting on the wrong type of new vehicles.
Already in a weakened state, these two American behemoths may finally fall, thus weakening
an already fragile economy.

You can probably think of other "rippling" effects this combination of tight supplies
and disruption of supply can have on the economy. If you can think of other significant "ripple effects",
email them to me. Now, let us return to the various details of this movie which seem
to be playing out in the aftermath of Katrina:

* "It re-routes activity normally associated with the Port Fourchon shipping lanes
to the port of Houston and compels Houston to work 24/7 in order to get the crude to
our refineries and out to the public."

Yesterday, President Bush announced that he is opening up the Strategic Reserve,
allowing crude oil to flow to refineries. Thus, he is taking the action called for in this movie.

Now, let us examine some other parts of this movie, "Oil Storm" not included
in this official synopsis. My source is a long-term Cutting Edge subscriber who actually watched
the movie on June 5; unfortunately, he did not tape the show!

* The President tapped emergency reserves of oil -- As noted above, President Bush
took this action yesterday

* Saudi Arabia agreed to increase their oil shipments by 1 million per day --
Saudi Arabia has already announced this move!

NEWS BRIEF: "Saudi Arabia ready to raise output to 11m bpd"
, Gulf News.com, 31 August 2005

"Saudi Arabia moved to reassure markets on Monday, saying it was ready to boost its oil
output to 11 million barrels per day (bpd) to fill any supply shortages caused by Hurricane Katrina.
Current production from Saudi Arabia is roughly 9.5 million bpd, according to industry estimates."

Therefore, Saudi Arabia is increasing its daily output by 1.5 million barrels.
However, remember that the current spike in retail gas prices has been occurring for
over one year now, and is the result of refinery capacity being taken off line, not because of
any shortage in crude oil (NEWS1925, posted one year ago).
Therefore, just releasing oil from the Strategic Oil Reserve and having Saudi Arabia agree
to increase its daily crude output will not solve the finished products supply problem.

* Saudi terrorists strike within that country, angry that Saudi Arabia
is trying to bail America out.

We have not heard yet of any such terrorist activity within Saudi Arabia,
but we also would not be surprised should it occur.

* "Oil Storm" depicts that oil and gas prices hit new, unprecedented heights.

We are already seeing this level, with a surge to $4 per gallon gasoline being predicted
by the end of the year. In Atlanta, some gas retailers reportedly are charging nearly $6 per gallon!

* This movie depicted oil rigs adrift in gulf, major highways shut down.

Once again, we have seen news reports of this very thing. In Mobile,
Alabama, an oil rig platform broke loose during the storm and smashed into a major bridge.

"A 13,000-ton oil platform blown loose from its moorings Monday morning by Hurricane Katrina
plowed through a state docks terminal and then slammed into the Cochrane-Africatown USA bridge,
severing a vital trucking link ... State Transportation Department inspectors began examining the bridge
Monday evening after traveling from Montgomery ... Trucks carrying hazardous materials depend on
the bridge to bypass the Wallace and Bankhead tunnels, where such cargo is prohibited.
Theclosure means hazardous-material trucks must go north to Interstate 65 to cross the river."

* "Oil Storm" depicts Homeland Security and FEMA taking charge.

NEWS BRIEF: "FEMA Calls on Homeland Security Workers for Help"
, Fox News, August 31, 2005

"WASHINGTON —
The Federal Emergency Management Agency is seeking 2,000 Homeland Security Department workers
to spend two weeks carrying out duties in the area devastated by Hurricane Katrina.
FEMA director Michael Brown told Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff (search)
in a letter that he needs 1,000 people within 48 hours and 2,000 within a week.
Training will be provided in Emmitsburg, Md., Atlanta or Orlando and special skills,
such as being bilingual or having a commercial driver's license are important.
The volunteers are being told they must be able to work long hours, outdoors, all day..."

NEWS BRIEF: "Orlando to be FEMA's ground zero: The agency plans to set up long-term hurricane-recovery operations here"
, Orlando Sentinel, August 31, 2005

" Orlando will soon be a vital part of the federal government's massive rescue operation
for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Thousands of emergency workers, planners, managers and rescue crews
are expected to come here in the next few weeks as the Federal Emergency Management Agency
sets up long-term hurricane-recovery operations. FEMA chose Orlando because it is close enough
to move workers back and forth from the hardest-hit areas, said Scott Morris, FEMA director of
Florida long-term recovery. The effort, he said, will be the nation's largest ever."

* "Oil Storm" depicted mass looting.

NEWS BRIEF: "'It's like a war zone here. There was shooting and looting': As toxic waters rise, the desperation and fear grow"
, The Guardian (London), September 1, 2005

"Chaos spread across New Orleans along with the brown, toxic floodwater in the early hours
of yesterday morning, and the thousands of stragglers still trapped awoke to find themselves in
a city with few laws, little mercy, and no clear way out. The police seemed to have all but evaporated in
the course of a night of looting and gunfire, in which at least one police officer was badly injured ...
there were no guardsmen on the streets to deal with the wreckage of the city ...
Everyone who had passed the night in the commercial district had lived their own nightmare.
'It was like a war zone here. There was shooting and looting, and I saw people beating women; it's .... ugly' ...."

* "Oil Storm" depicted people being moved into sports stadiums as an emergency measure.

NEWS BRIEF: "Reality sinks in about devastation to the south",
Hattiesburg American, August 30, 2005

"BATON ROUGE, La. - With conditions in New Orleans rapidly deteriorating, Gov.
Kathleen Blanco said today that people now huddled in the Superdome and other rescue centers
need to be evacuated. The situation is untenable, Blanco said during a news conference.
It's just heartbreaking. Because of two levees that broke today, the city was rapidly filling with
water and the prospect of having power was a long time off, the governor said.
She also said the storm severed a major water main, leaving the city without drinkable water."

NEWS BRIEF: "60,000 trapped in FEMA's Superdome concentration camp"
, Prison Planet, Alex Jones, September 1, 2005

"From WWL-TV's wwltv.com: '4:21 P.M. - WWL-TV Reporter quotes officials
as saying there may now be 60,000 people in the Superdome and that more people
are still being urged to go there'. Official spokesmen are now denying the numerous reports
this morning from National Guardsmen and others that New Orleans is under martial law.
But that is exactly what NO and southeast La. are under as the governor demands the entire city
be evacuated. Numerous media reports indicate that refugees are not allowed to leave the Superdome.
The Superdome is now a prison. Tens of thousands of Americans, trapped in a 21st-century
FEMA concentration camp."

* This movie depicted huge lines at gas stations with customers
taking it out on the gas station owners.

Yesterday (August 31, 2005), I noticed long gasoline lines forming in my community
of Lexington, S.C. This scene was not unusual across this nation.

NEWS BRIEF: "Ouch! $6 gas near Atlanta: Georgia governor outlaws gouging as stations jack up price, lines form"
, WorldNetDaily, August 31, 2005

"As impacts of Hurricane Katrina affect both the production and transportation of fuel,
gas stations in the Atlanta area today dramatically jacked up their prices ... There were '70s-era gas lines
at several stations. Mike Brown, owner of Georgetown Chevron in Chamblee, Ga., said his station
had run out of gasoline. 'People are just lined up', he told Bloomberg. 'All of a sudden, people are panicking'.''
Even before Hurricane Katrina struck, gas prices were getting high enough to anger
customers in this manner. Listen:

NEWS BRIEF: "Man Surrenders in Gas-Theft Death of Alabama Station Owner"
, AP Breaking News, August 26, 2005

"FORT PAYNE, Ala. (AP) - A man surrendered to police Thursday in the death of a gas station owner
who tried to stop a $52 gasoline theft by grabbing onto a moving vehicle, but was run over and killed.
Police said Alvin D. Benefield, 42, surrendered Thursday and was held on charges including theft and
manslaughter in the death of Husain 'Tony' Caddi, 54. Caddi was killed Aug. 19 in the drive-off at his
Texaco station in Fort Payne in rural northeast Alabama." Now that gas is vastly more expensive
than just on August 26, it seems likely that we shall see this type of tragedy occurring.

* "Oil Storm" depicts millions of consumers losing electrical power.

NEWS BRIEF: "'Almost every house damaged': Extent of damage to Pine Belt region called unprecedented; power to be off at least 14 days"
, The Clarion Ledger, August 31, 2005

"HATTIESBURG — Many homes and businesses were destroyed by the powerful hurricane
that came ashore near New Orleans and then mowed through the heart of Mississippi.
Power was lost throughout south Mississippi and officials expect it may not be restored
for at least two weeks."

NEWS BRIEF: "150,000 without power in Alabama"
, The Clarion Ledger, August 29, 2005

"MOBILE — Hurricane Katrina hammered Alabama's coast with torrential rain and howling,
tree-bending winds today as floodwaters swirled over downtown streets, crashed over beach seawalls
and drove families from bayou homes ... Alabama Power Co. reported about 150,500 customers
without power, mostly in the Mobile area ... Exploding transformers lit up the predawn sky
as power outages spread."

* "Oil Storm" depicts Martial Law being declared in the wake of the storm.
About 24 hours after Katrina struck, Martial Law was declared in New Orleans.

NEWS BRIEF: "Martial law declared around New Orleans"

"NEW ORLEANS, Aug. 30 (UPI) -- Martial law was declared in New Orleans midday Tuesday
as the city continued flooding from at least two levees damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Mayor Ray Nagin said bodies have been seen floating in floodwaters, although neither city
nor Louisiana state officials had issued a preliminary death toll. Nagin said the city's Twin Span Bridge
is 'totally destroyed' and that 80 percent of the city is underwater. New Orleans is 6 feet below sea level,
and reliant on levees to hold back water from Lake Ponchartrain ... He also predicted there would be
no electricity in the city for four to six weeks. Natural gas leaks were also reported throughout the city."

As you can see, the movie "Oil Storm" very accurately portrayed the real events
from Hurricane Katrina. Since scientists working for key governments in the world --
countries which are totally dedicated to the overthrow of the Old World Order
(our present civilization) so the New World Order can be established --
can now control natural events (including hurricanes) they can bring about
a carefully crafted scenario.

We made this point a year ago about the horrific movie,
"The Day After Tomorrow".

This movie must be taken seriously, for it reflects true thinking amongst key leaders of today;
scientists working for these leaders have the capability to make the devastation portrayed
actually come true. Likewise, scientists have the capability to make the scenario of "Oil Storm"
come true. If fact, we believe it likely that the scenario for the movie was created by input from
the scientific community as to what these scientists intended to do and what our political leaders
planned to do in the aftermath.

This storm will likely allow our government to take the actions in this region
which they eventually plan nationwide: Martial Law, Suspension of Liberties and Rights,
Holding of People In Detention Centers.

While we have not seen all these occurring yet, we believe it is possible all these actions
will occur. This scenario has consistently unfolded as a "worst case" scenario, with no good news.
Therefore, we believe that this hurricane has likely set in motion the "beginning of the end"
events. Israel is the key, as we have noted on many occasions; she has just finished her first stage
of unilateral withdrawal, and is setting the stage for the second phase to begin. Since Israel is now
getting ready to go to war, all other planned events designed to bring down the old system so
the Masonic Christ can arise to take control of the new system can now begin.

Since this is a "Birth Pangs" scenario, we can expect the number of disastrous events
in the world to increase, with less and less time in between. This increase in severe Birth Pangs
activity has already begun.

NUMERIC OCCULT SIGNATURE TO HURRICANE KATRINA

If you have not yet come to understand that our occult leaders bring events to pass
according to certain key occult "sacred numbers", please take the time to read
NEWS1756. Only then will you understand this segment of the article.

Hurricane Katrina was carried out according to the following occult sacred numbers,
giving her a Numeric Occult Signature.

* She came ashore on August 29 -- 2+9= 11 ('11' is the number of the coming Antichrist)

* Katrina was the 11th named storm of this season

* Katrina was the 6th hurricane to strike Florida this season

* Katrina came ashore in the New Orleans -- Mississippi area between 6:07 - 6:11 am.
Since Sunrise occurred at 6:36am, this storm literally greeted the Sunrise.
This may not sound like a big deal to you, but to a pagan whose primary god is the Sun,
this is a very huge deal. Of course, since this was also the time of High Tide,
the storm surge was greatly intensified.

* Initial news reported that at least 55 people were killed, and that the storm surge
into Mississippi was 22 feet high. Of course, these are occult numbers: 55=11x5 while 22=11x2 (

"Fury, Devastation"

* The length of time between the date Katrina hit and two other very significant dates
is interesting, to say the least:

1) August 29, 2005 back to the attacks of 9/11/2001 = 3 years, 11 months, 18 days
Of course, the number "3" is the number of the pagan trinity (Satan, Antichrist, False Prophet),
while "11" is the number of the coming Masonic Christ and "18"
is a hidden "666" because it is the sum of "6+6+6".

2) August 29, 2005 back to the day the New World Order was officially "born"
, September 10, 2000 = 4 years, 11 months, 19 days

Thus, the dates between August 29, 2005 and these two important dates
on the Illuminati timetable provide interesting occult sacred numbers,
especially the number "11".

Therefore, Hurricane Katrina carried a significant, and obvious, numeric occult signature!
She was obviously and carefully created in order to produce the societal chaos
so needed to bring down the old system and bring in the new,
along with the New Messiah, the Masonic Christ.

Remember also how the Biblical concept of this entire series of events being as a "birth pangs"
('sorrows' in the King James Version). Jesus foretold in Matthew 24:6-8 that Antichrist would come to
the world scene as "birth pangs" produced him. As adults know, birth pangs get closer together,
and they greatly intensify, as the birth of the baby gets closer.

Likewise, the Illuminati has planned that the "birth pangs" disasters
planned to produce their Messiah would intensify and get closer together as
the time for his appearance gets closer. He will literally come striding out of
the smoke and disaster of the Third World War, his appearance prepared by
natural disasters, deadly pestilence, famine, and earthquakes in many places
throughout the world.

We should be prepared for more of these types of events, occurring closer together.
And, as always, Israel is the key, so watch carefully as she prepares for war by evacuating
her remaining settlements on the West Bank. Remember the "timetable" and "schedule" revelation
this past February (2005), from a Sharon minister:

""Israel might lose ground in Washington if it carried out a disengagement referendum
that would delay implementation of the plan ... 'In my view I don't think anything that will postpone,
or interfere, with the timetable or orderly manner of carrying out disengagement would be viewed
favorably in Washington', (Foreign Minister) Ayalon told The Jerusalem Post ... '
they (Bush Administration) have stressed repeatedly in all their meetings in Jerusalem,
and said it publicly, that the timetable should be kept, and it is important to carry out
the disengagement according to schedule and without any obstacles', he said." (

A global "timetable" -- "schedule" is in place and being followed by the Illuminati.
Both Israel and other events like Hurricane Katrina are marching according to this "schedule".
Time seems to be getting very, very short.

Why the propaganda campaign for international intervention in Burma?

-- The catastrophe wrought by Cyclone Nargis on the Burmese people has provoked
an extraordinary campaign by the US and allied powers, and in the international media,
demanding that the military junta open its borders to aid and aid officials as well as to
American military aircraft, troops and warships. Once again an attempt is being made to
stampede public opinion with heartrending images of desperate survivors and devastated towns,
accompanied by an incessant drumbeat condemning the Burmese regime for its inadequate
aid efforts, its insularity, and its failure to accept international, especially American, aid.

One should immediately pause and recall the outcome of similar “humanitarian” exercises.
In 1999, the plight of Kosovan refugees was exploited by the US and its allies to wage war against
Serbia and transform the province into a NATO protectorate largely “cleansed” of its Serbian minority.
In the same year, Australia, with the backing of the US, used the violence of Indonesian-backed militias
to justify a military intervention into East Timor to install a regime sympathetic to Canberra’s economic
and strategic interests. After nearly a decade the local populations in both countries continue to live
in appalling conditions, with none of their fundamental needs having been met.

Undoubtedly a huge social tragedy has taken place over the past week. Official Burmese
figures put the number of dead and missing at more than 60,000. UN officials estimate the death toll
at 100,000 and the number of people severely affected by the cyclone at nearly 2 million. Much of
the huge Irrawaddy delta has been devastated by the storm surges whipped up by Cyclone Nargis,
which swamped the low-lying land. Entire towns and villages have been washed away,
leaving scenes that recall the destruction produced by the December 2004 tsunami along
the coasts of Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand.

It is also true that the Burmese junta is a brutal regime that has repeatedly gunned down
anti-government protesters in order to maintain its own power and privileges. Its rescue efforts
are certainly hampered not only by the economic backwardness of the country, but also by
the regime’s callous indifference to the plight of the Burmese people. Given the current media campaign,
one should approach all press reports with considerable caution. But there is little doubt that
many cyclone victims are being left to fend for themselves—as indeed were the survivors of the 2004
tsunami by governments of the worst hit countries.No one, however, should place
any credibility in the protestations of concern from the Bush administration and its allies.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice insisted on Wednesday that Washington’s cyclone assistance
was “not a matter of politics” but rather “a matter of a humanitarian crisis”. “What remains is for
the Burmese government to allow the international community to help its people,” Rice declared.

In reality, all American assistance comes with political strings attached.
The Bush administration has offered a paltry $3.5 million in financial aid and is pushing for
the entry of US officials, aid workers and military personnel to handle emergency relief operations
rather than allow Burmese authorities to carry them out. At the same time, the US and its European allies
continue to maintain sanctions against the Burmese regime that have compounded the country’s economic
difficulties. In the week prior to the cyclone, the Bush administration strengthened its bans on trade
and investment and the freezing of assets, all of which remain in place except for a slight easing
of restrictions on financial aid.

French Foreign Minister Bernard Kouchner suggested on Wednesday that
the UN Security Council be convened to invoke its “responsibility to protect” to override Burmese
national sovereignty and deliver international aid, with or without the junta’s approval.
The “responsibility to protect” resolution, which has a history dating back to the 1999 NATO war
on Yugoslavia, was passed in 2006 as an instrument for the major powers to justify military
aggression on the grounds of preventing “genocide, war, ethnic cleansing and crimes
against humanity”. Kouchner’s suggestion would extent the scope for such interventions to
natural disasters such as Cyclone Nargis.

Kouchner’s comments have yet to be publicly supported by Washington,
but the suggestion is clearly being discussed within the administration. The US ambassador
to the UN, Zalmay Khalilzad, declared that most governments were “outraged” by the slowness
of the Burmese regime to accept international aid. Alluding to the UN Security Council powers,
he added: “A government has responsibility to protect its own people, to provide for its people....
It should be a no-brainer to accept the offer made by the international community.”

Director of the US Office of Foreign Disaster Assistance, Ky Luu, was more explicit.
He indicated that unilateral air drops by US military aircraft was one of the options being
considered if the junta continued to refuse to accept American aid. Four US warships are
already heading towards Burma and Navy helicopters and Air Force cargo planes have been
stationed in neighbouring Thailand. US Defence Secretary Robert Gates commented that
he could not imagine a military intervention without Burmese permission. Defence Department
spokesman Bryan Whitman noted: “If you’re not asked and it’s not requested, it’s considered
an invasion.” Nevertheless, it is clear that the military option and its political ramifications
are being actively discussed.

The Asian tsunami
As part of the campaign to pressure the Burmese junta, a new mythology is being created
to paint the international response to the Asian tsunami as a model of rapid, efficient and
compassionate aid delivery by all involved. Contrasts are increasingly being made between
the Burmese regime today and its “democratic” counterparts in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India and
Thailand in 2004.

Any objective examination of the 2004 tragedy, however, reveals a very different picture.
The huge tsunami waves engulfed impoverished villages around the Bay of Bengal on December 26.
For days, as the death toll quickly mounted into the tens of thousands, US President Bush,
British Prime Minister Tony Blair and other world leaders failed to make any statement on the disaster.
When they finally broke their vacations, their collective contempt for the fate of the victims
was revealed in their perfunctory comments and pathetic offers of aid. It was only after
an outpouring of sympathy and donations from working people around the world,
aghast at the enormity of the disaster, that the US and major powers began to act.

In the worst affected countries, emergency relief efforts were hamstrung by red tape
and political agendas, of both the local regimes and the donor countries. The Indonesian and
Sri Lankan governments had been waging brutal long-running wars against separatist movements
and were extremely reluctant to allow aid organisations, let alone foreign militaries,
into the disaster zones. Far from helping the victims, the Indonesian military seized the opportunity
to intensify its operations against Achnese rebels. In Sri Lanka, attempts to establish a joint aid body
with the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) under the auspices of the 2002 ceasefire collapsed,
amid bitter communal recriminations over any official recognition of the separatists.

The Indian government insisted that it would control its own relief operations and
dismissed any suggestion that foreign militaries should be involved. The Indian military was
particularly sensitive to the presence of international aid workers in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands,
which were among the worst hit areas, because of the presence of strategic navy and
air force bases there. More than three years later, thousands of tsunami victims on the islands,
as well as in other parts of India, Indonesia and Sri Lanka, are still living in squalid conditions
in temporary accommodation.

No one in ruling circles in the US or Europe suggested at the time that a military operation
should be mounted to override Indian sovereignty or to make unilateral air drops over the Andaman
and Nicobar Islands. In the case of Sri Lanka and Indonesia, the governments eventually permitted
the US military to assist in aid operations on their territories. In both cases, Washington’s overriding
purpose was political—to forge closer working relations with the militaries of the two countries
as well as to set a precedent, which is now being invoked to exert pressure on the Burmese junta.

US Secretary of State Rice bluntly told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in January 2005
that the tsunami constituted “a wonderful opportunity to show not just the US government,
but the heart of the American people... And I think it has paid great dividends for us.”
Rice now declares that US aid offers to Burma are “not a matter of politics”,
but the Bush administration is intent on transforming this latest disaster into
a new political “opportunity” to advance its strategic and economic interests in the region.

Strategic interests
The decision of the Burmese junta to selectively accept aid from
sympathetic countries such as China, India and Thailand, and not the US,
is hardly surprising. The Bush administration has made little secret of the fact
that it favours “regime change” in Burma— the removal of the military regime
and its replacement by a government, headed by opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi,
more amenable to Washington’s interests and to opening up the country
to foreign investors.

The US targetting of the junta has nothing to do with concern for the democratic rights
or the welfare of the Burmese people. Washington’s hostility towards the Burmese regime
is driven above all by the latter’s close association with China, regarded by the US
as its main potential rival. Over the past eight years, the Bush administration has pursued
a strategy of strengthening military ties and establishing bases
in a string of countries around China
—from South Korea and Japan to the Philippines, Australia and Indonesia and around to India,
Pakistan, Afghanistan and the Central Asia republics.

Burma is a significant hole in US efforts to “contain” China. The country sits next to
the strategic Strait of Malacca—the major sea-lane linking North East Asia, including China,
with the energy resources of the Middle East and Africa. Control of such “choke points”
has long been central to American naval plans. China has assisted Burma in building
various naval facilities and counts on access to Burmese ports as part of its efforts to protect
shipping lanes that are vital for its own economy.

The international media is already making criticisms of China for failing to exert more pressure
on its ally to open up to international aid. US Secretary of State Rice phoned her counterpart
in Beijing this week to push the Chinese government to exert more pressure on Burma.
If the Bush administration did decide to press for a UN resolution to intervene, Beijing would quickly
become a more direct target of vilification. China has opposed any move to raise the cyclone disaster
in the UN Security Council.

There is also a broader economic agenda behind Washington’s hostility to the Burmese junta.
For decades, it has maintained a largely shut-in, isolated economy in which military-run enterprises
still dominate the key sectors. For American corporations, the country is a new potential source
of cheap labour as well as critical resources, including oil and gas. The US administration has quietly
allowed the Chevron oil corporation to proceed with its multi-million dollar investments in Burma,
but such operations are hindered by bad relations between the two countries.

The Bush administration is no more motivated by humanitarian concerns in Burma
than it is in Iraq or Afghanistan. In rejecting the latest lies and hypocrisy from the White House,
it is necessary to consider the fundamental issues involved. Why do such catastrophes repeatedly hit
the most vulnerable layers of the world’s population? Why do disease, hunger and poverty continue
to ravage the masses of Asia, Africa and Latin America?

The resources exist to abolish suffering and want, as well as to minimise the impact of
natural disasters such as Cyclone Nargis. Over the past three decades, the globalisation of
production has vastly expanded mankind’s economic capacity, establishing the basis for
the rational planning and deployment of resources on a world scale to ensure a decent standard
of living for people in every part of the globe. Under capitalism, however, this huge economic
and scientific capacity is exploited to provide profits for the wealthy few, while the vast majority,
including in the major industrialised countries, struggle to survive from day to day.

Poverty and unemployment are no aberration. The vast layers of the world’s urban
and rural poor are an essential feature of global capitalism. They form a vast reserve army of labour
that is used as a constant downward pressure on the wages and conditions of the working class
internationally. The only means for abolishing the immense and deepening chasm between rich
and poor is through the revolutionary restructuring of society along socialist lines, so that
the burning needs of the overwhelming majority of humanity take precedence over the profit
requirements of the few.

The case for invading Myanmar

- With United States warships and air force planes at the ready, and over 1 million
of Myanmar's citizens left bedraggled, homeless and susceptible to water-borne diseases
by Cyclone Nagris, the natural disaster presents an opportunity in crisis for the US.

A unilateral - and potentially United Nations-approved - US military intervention
in the name of humanitarianism could easily turn the tide against the impoverished
country's unpopular military leaders, and simultaneously rehabilitate the legacy of lame-duck US

President George W Bush's controversial pre-emptive military policies.

Myanmar's ruling junta has responded woefully to the cyclone disaster, costing more human lives than
would have been the case with the approval of a swift international response. One week after
the killer storm first hit, Myanmar's junta has only now allowed desperately needed
international emergency supplies to trickle in. It continues to resist US and UN disaster relief
and food aid personnel from entering the country. Officially, 60,000 people have died;
the figure is probably closer to 100,000.

The US is prepared to deliver US$3.25 million in initial assistance for survivors,
which if allowed by the junta could be rapidly delivered to the worst-hit areas using
US Air Force and naval vessels, including the US C-130 military aircraft
now in neighboring Thailand, and the USS Kitty Hawk and USS Nimitz naval warships,
currently on standby in nearby waters.

With the host government's approval, the US military led the multinational emergency response
to the 2004 tsunami, including in the politically sensitive, majority Muslim areas of Aceh, Indonesia.
The response to Myanmar's tragedy, in comparison, is being undermined by the play of international
power politics, including most notably the military government's antagonistic relations with the US.

Washington has long-held economic sanctions against the regime, which were recently enhanced
through financial sanctions against individual junta members, their families and business associates.
Despite the economic suffering the sanctions have had on the grassroots population,
many Myanmar citizens support the measures against their perceived abusive government,
according to one Myanmar researcher. Early last year, the US tried to have Myanmar's abysmal
rights record put onto the UN Security Council's agenda, but the motion was later vetoed by
Myanmar allies China and Russia.

In the wake of the cyclone, the criminality of the junta's callous policies has taken on new human
proportions in full view of the global community. Without a perceived strong UN-led response
to the natural disaster, hard new questions will fast arise about the UN's own relevance and
ability to manage global calamities.

This week, French Foreign Minister Bernard Koucher suggested that the UN invoke its so-called
"responsibility to protect" civilians as legitimate grounds to force aid delivery, regardless of
the military government's objections. On Friday, a UN spokesman called the junta's refusal
to issue visas to aid workers "unprecedented" in the history of humanitarian work.

Because of the UN's own limited powers of projection, such a response would require US military
management and assets. US officials appear to be building at least a rhetorical case for
a humanitarian intervention. While offering relief and aid with one hand, top US officials have
with the other publicly slapped at the Myanmar government's lame response to the disaster.

Shari Villarosa, head of the US Embassy in Yangon, has challenged the veracity of the government's official
death count, telling reporters that storm-related casualties could eventually exceed 100,000 at a time the junta
claimed 22,500 had perished. The junta has since revised up its official death toll figure to around 60,000.

US First Lady Laura Bush, who last year publicly goaded Myanmar's population to rise up against
the military junta during the "Saffron" revolution, has in the wake of the cyclone revived her criticisms,
referring to the government as "inept" and claiming that despite it receiving forewarning it failed
to alert its citizens of the impending cyclone.

"It should be a simple matter," said US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice,
referring to the junta's refusal to allow foreign aid workers into the country.
"It's not a matter of politics. It's a matter of a humanitarian crisis."

Armed and ready
Should the junta continue to resist foreign assistance while social and public health conditions
deteriorate in clear view of global news audiences, the moral case for a UN-approved,
US-led humanitarian intervention will grow. Fistfights have already reportedly broken out over
food supplies in Yangon, raising the risk that Myanmar troops could soon be called to put down
unrest in the midst of a humanitarian crisis. Last September, Myanmar's army opened fire against
and killed an unknown number of street demonstrators.

Apart from putting significant US military assets on standby, there are no indications yet
that President George W Bush or the Pentagon is preparing a unilateral rescue operation.
Yet policymakers in Washington are now no doubt weighing the potential pros and cons of
a pre-emptive humanitarian mission in a geo-strategically pivotal and suddenly weakened country
that Bush administration officials have recently and repeatedly referred to as an "outpost of tyranny".

Within that policy matrix, the deteriorating situation presents a unique opportunity for Bush
to burnish his foreign policy legacy. Some note that a US military response to
Myanmar's humanitarian crisis would follow in the footsteps of Bush's presidential father,
George H W Bush, who after declaring victory over the Soviet Union's communist threat,
moved to demonstrate to the post-Cold War world that US military might would be a force for global good.

That included his government's US military-led humanitarian aid mission in civil war-
and famine-struck Somalia in August 1992 that morphed later in the same year into a full-blown US
Marine invasion of the capital Mogadishu, including the airport and main port, to protect the integrity
of future aid deliveries from marauding militias. That military mission was mostly abandoned by 1993
after fierce fighting between US troops and Somali militias, while television images of a slain US soldier
being dragged through Mogadishu's streets took the idealistic edge off the supposedly
humanitarian military exercise.

This time, it is almost sure-fire that Myanmar's desperate population would warmly welcome
a US-led humanitarian intervention, considering that its own government is now withholding
emergency supplies. Like his father then, Bush is now clearly focused on his presidential legacy,
which to date will be judged harshly due to his government's controversial pre-emptive military policies,
waged until now exclusively in the name of fighting global terror.

In an era when the US routinely launches pre-emptive military strikes, including its 2003 invasion of Iraq,
the 2003 Predator drone assassination attack against an alleged al-Qaeda leader in Yemen,
a similar drone attack in 2006 in northwestern Pakistan, and last week's attack against a reputed al-Qaeda
ringleader in Somalia, it is not inconceivable that the US might yet intervene in military-run Myanmar,
particularly if in the days ahead the social and political situation tilts towards anomie.

Whether or not a US military intervention in the name of humanitarianism would, as in Somalia,
eventually morph into an armed attempt at regime change and nation-building would likely
depend on the population's and Myanmar military's response to the first landing of US troops.
Some political analysts speculate that Myanmar's woefully under-resourced and widely unpopular
troops would defect en masse rather than confront US troops.

While Myanmar ally China would likely oppose a US military intervention, Beijing has so far notably
goaded the junta to work with rather than against international organizations like the UN,
and more to the point, it lacks the power projection capabilities to militarily challenge the US
in a foreign theater. Most notably, the US would have at its disposal a globally respected and
once democratically elected leader in Aung San Suu Kyi to lead a transitional government
to full democracy.

Many have speculated that Myanmar's notoriously paranoid junta abruptly moved
the national capital 400 kilometers north from Yangon to its mountain-rung redoubt
at Naypyidaw in November 2005 due to fears of a possible pre-emptive US invasion,
similar to the action against Iraq. Now, Cyclone Nagris and the government's woeful response
to the disaster have suddenly made that once paranoid delusion into a strong pre-emptive possibility,
one that Bush's lame-duck presidency desperately needs.

Powerful earthquake shakes China

An earthquake measuring 7.5 has hit south-west China,
according to the US Geological Survey.

Reports said tremors could be felt as far afield as the Thai capital, Bangkok, and Hanoi in Vietnam.
The quake struck 57 miles (92km) north-west of Sichuan's provincial capital, Chengdu,
at 1428 (0628 GMT), the survey said on its website. Earthquakes are common in China -
in March a 7.2-magnitude quake struck in the western Xinjiang province. On Monday,
workers in Beijing - about 930 miles from Chengdu - said buildings were swaying for about two minutes.
In Beijing's financial district, workers poured from their buildings -
but there were no visible signs of damage. Workers in Chengdu also fled their buildings.

"We felt continuous shaking for about two or three minutes.
All the people in our office are rushing downstairs," an office worker in Chengdu told Reuters.

The Chinese authorities say they are still investigating the exact location
and strength of the quake - which was initially reported to be 7.8 magnitude by the US survey.

ขณะที่นายเวิน เจียเป่า นายกรัฐมนตรี ได้เดินทางเข้าไปยังพื้นที่ประสบภัยแผ่นดินไหวแล้ว

ที่ฮ่องกงมีรายงานว่าอาคารสูงต่างๆสัมผัสแรงสั่นสะเทือนได้เป็นเวลาหลายนาที ส่วนที่กรุงฮานอยของเวียดนาม
ประชาชนผู้ประสบเหตุเปิดเผยว่า ตึกอาคารสูงเขย่าสั่นไหวราว 5 นาที แต่เบื้องต้นยังไม่มีรายงานความเสียหาย

ขณะที่หน่วยประสานงานและระวังภัยพิบัติโลกของคณะทำงานร่วมสหประชาชาติ-สหภาพยุโรป (จีแดค) เตือนว่า
ผลกระทบจากแผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้อาจมีเพิ่มขึ้น เพราะเหตุการณ์เกิดในช่วงเวลากลางวันที่มีรถราอยู่บนท้องถนน
จำนวนมากและมีผู้คนมากมายอยู่ในตึกสูง

ด้านกรมสารนิเทศ กระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ระบุว่า สถานกงสุลใหญ่ไทย ณ เฉินตูยังไม่สามารถติดต่อ
คนไทยราว 80 คนซึ่งส่วนใหญ่เป็นนักศึกษาในเฉินตูได้ เนื่องจากระบบการสื่สารขัดข้อง แต่คาดว่าไม่น่าจะมี
คนไทยได้รับผลกระทบจากเหตุการณ์ดังกล่าว และในชั้นนี้ยังไม่มีรายงานความเสียหายจากทางการจีน
อย่างไรก็ดี สถานกงสุลใหญ่จะติดตามข้อมูลอย่างใกล้ชิดต่อไป

ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานว่า แผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้ แรงสั่นสะเทือนรับรู้ได้ถึงกรุงเทพฯ โดยนายคงสกุล ชุมคง
อายุ 25 ปี พนักงานบริษัทหนึ่ง ทำงานอยู่บนชั้น 22 อาคารอื้อจื่อเหลียง ถนนพระราม 4 เล่าถึงเหตุการณ์
แผ่นดินไหวว่า เวลาประมาณ 13.50 น.ขณะที่กำลังนั่งทำงานอยู่ ก็รู้สึกมึนศีรษะ ถามเพื่อนร่วมงานก็รู้สึกมึนเช่นกัน
และเห็นมู่ลี่ หน้าต่างสั่นสะเทือนอย่างได้ชัด จากนั้นมีประกาศแจ้งผ่านเจ้าหน้าที่ของตึกว่าให้หนีลงทางบันไดหนีไฟ
เพราะเกิดแผ่นดินไหว โดยพนักงานบางส่วนก็ทยอยลงไปแล้ว มองเห็นข้างล่างบริเวณสวนลุมพินีก็เห็นพนักงาน
ในตึกเดียวกันลงไปอออยู่เต็ม ซึ่งเป็นไปตามแผนซ้อมหนีไฟของตึก โดยขณะที่ตนกำลังจะลงจากตึก
ตามคำประกาศก็มีประกาศอีกครั้งว่าปลอดภัยแล้วไม่ต้องลงไปพวกตนจึงยังอยู่ที่สำนักงานที่เดิม
ซึ่งแผ่นดินไหวครั้งนี้รู้สึกได้ว่ารุนแรงกว่าครั้งก่อนๆเพราะหลายคนมีอาการมึนศีรษะ

นายวินัย ถาวรนาน ผู้อำนวยการเขื่อนศรีนครินทร์ จังหวัดกาญจนบุรี เปิดเผยว่า จุดศูนย์กลางของแผ่นดินไหว
ในประเทศสาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีนมาถึงตัวเขื่อนศรีนครินทร์ระยะทางประมาณ 3,000 กิโลเมตร
เครื่องวัดอัตราเร่งที่ทางเขื่อนฯ ติดตั้งไว้ด้วยกัน 3 เครื่อง ไม่มีคลื่นสั่นสะเทือนต่อตัวเขื่อน
แต่อาจจะมีแรงสั่นสะเทือนเพียงเล็กน้อย เครื่องไม่สามารถอ่านค่าได้ เนื่องจากตั้งค่าไว้ที่ .01 G
เป็นค่ามาตรฐานใช้เตือนเหตุแผ่นดินไหว โดยเหตุแผ่นดินไหวนี้เจ้าหน้าที่เขื่อนที่ปฏิบัติงานอยู่ไม่สามารถรับรู้
ถึงความสึกจากแรงสั่นสะเทือนดังกล่าวได้ จากการตรวจสอบด้วยสายตาของเจ้าหน้าที่ตัวเขื่อนมีความเรียบร้อยดี
อย่างไรก็ตามขอยืนยันว่า แผ่นดินไหวในประเทศจีนไม่มีผลกระทบต่อโครงสร้างของเขื่อนศรีนครินทร์

แผ่นดินไหวครั้งร้ายแรงขนาด 7.8 ริกเตอร์ ซึ่งมีจุดศูนย์กลางอยู่ที่มณฑลซื่อชวน (เสฉวน)
เมื่อวันจันทร์ (12 พ.ค.) แม้จะอยู่ห่างไกลจากกรุงเทพฯหลายกิโลเมตร ทว่าธรณีพิโรธครั้งนี้กลับส่งผล
สะเทือนทำให้มนุษย์เงินเดือนแถบสีลมและสาทรหลายร้อยชีวิตเสียวไปตามๆกัน หลายคนถึงกับวิ่งกรู
ตัดหน้ารถยนต์ที่วิ่งขวักไขว่บนท้องถนน เพื่อให้แน่ใจว่าพ้นจากรัศมีหากตึกสูงที่พวกเขาทำงานอยู่นั้นถล่ม!
ภาพดังกล่าวไม่ต่างอะไรกับสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นในย่านธุรกิจของปักกิ่งและเซี่ยงไฮ้

รายงานจากกระทรวงกิจการพลเรือน ณ เวลา 7.00 น.ของวันอังคาร (13) ระบุว่า มียอดผู้เสียชีวิตจากเหตุดังกล่าว
ถึง 9,219 ราย ในจำนวนนี้ 8,993 รายเป็นผู้เสียชีวิตในมณฑลซื่อชวน, 132 รายในกันซู่, 92 รายในส่านซี,
8 รายในฉงชิ่ง และ 1 รายในหยุนหนัน (ยูนนาน) ¹ อย่างไรก็ตาม ต่อมามีรายงานในช่วงเย็นว่าตัวเลขดังกล่าว
อยู่ที่ 12,000 รายและอาจเพิ่มขึ้นอีก

เหตุ สลดครั้งนี้อุบัติขึ้นไม่ไกล และไม่นาน หลังจากที่พม่าถูกวาตภัย พายุนาร์กีสถล่มจนมีการประมาณว่า
ยอดผู้เสียชีวิตและสูญหายไม่ต่ำกว่า 62,000 ราย

ภัยพิบัติที่เกิดขึ้นซ้ำๆ ทั่วทุกมุมโลก ถูกอธิบายได้อย่างง่ายๆว่า เพราะภาวะโลกร้อน (Global warming)
และมนุษย์เป็นต้นเหตุสำคัญ หากเรายึดถือเอาคำอธิบายง่ายๆนี้ไป ทุกอย่างก็จบ ไม่ต้องพูดอะไรกันอีก
อย่างไรก็ตาม หากคิดมองให้ลึกลงไป จะพบว่าภาย ใต้คำอธิบายดังกล่าวแฝงไว้ด้วย
“ความรู้” “ความจริง” และ “อำนาจ” ที่ให้อำนาจกับมนุษย์และสถาบันทางสังคมหนึ่ง
ขณะที่มนุษย์อีกพวกหนึ่งถูกปล้นและริดรอนอำนาจในการต่อรอง

กล่าวสำหรับประเทศจีนแล้ว ในช่วงที่ผ่านมาทางภาครัฐได้รณรงค์มาตรการด้านสิ่งแวดล้อมไปไม่น้อย
หลังจากถูกตีตราว่า เป็นตัวการสำคัญที่ก่อให้เกิดภาวะโลกร้อน อาทิ เมื่อเดือนก.พ. ทางปักกิ่งได้พูดถึง
ระบบ “ประกันภัยสีเขียว”ซึ่งเป็นระบบที่ถูกคิดค้นขึ้นเพื่อควบคุมอุตสาหกรรมที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม
และผู้คน โดยวิสาหกิจด้านอุตสาหกรรมของจีนต้องซื้อประกันควบคุมการก่อมลพิษจากบริษัท ประกันภัย
แล้วบริษัทประกันภัยจะรับผิดชอบค่าสินไหมทดแทนจากการก่อมลพิษของวิสาหกิจที่ ได้สร้างความสูญเสีย
แก่ชาวบ้าน สิ่งแวดล้อมและสังคม โดยค่าเบี้ยประกันจะมีความสัมพันธ์กับสภาพการปล่อยมลพิษ
ถ้าวิสาหกิจมีความเสี่ยงสูง ค่าเบี้ยประกันก็จะสูงจนวิสาหกิจอาจรับไม่ไหว²

อย่างไรก็ตามผลสำรวจของของไชน่า ยูธ เดลี่ ณ เดือนมี.ค.ระบุว่า คนจีนจำนวนมากไม่ทราบเรื่อง
มาตรการดังกล่าว แถม 45.2% ก็แสดงทัศนะว่าเป็นแค่การขายความคิดครั้งใหม่ของรัฐเท่านั้น
ถ้าจะทำจริงแล้ว 43.8% บอกว่า “ท่าจะยาก”³

เหตุที่แผ่นดินจีนโดนภัยธรรมชาติกระหน่ำอย่างรุนแรง ทั้งพายุหิมะเมื่อต้นปี กระทั่งมาถึงแผ่นดินไหวครั้งล่าสุด
นอกจากเหตุปัจจัยจากการพัฒนาตาบอดแล้ว ยังเพราะคนจำนวนไม่น้อยตกอยู่ใต้ “วาทกรรมโลกร้อน”

ปรากฎการณ์โลกร้อนอาจเป็นสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้นจริง จนก่อให้เกิดภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติมากมาย
ทว่าแง่หนึ่ง “โลกร้อน” ก็ถูกใช้เป็นวาทกรรมเพื่อหาประโยชน์จากการผลิตสินค้า และบริการ
รวมทั้งรวบรัดอำนาจในการแก้ปัญหาให้ตกเป็นของกลุ่มทุนและรัฐ ขณะที่ประชาชน
ได้แต่ควักกระเป๋าซื้อและก้มหน้าทำตามอำนาจรัฐและทุนโดยไม่ต้องตั้งคำถาม

ภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติ ถูกอธิบายด้วยองค์ความรู้แบบวิทยาศาสตร์อันมีเหตุและผล ปัจจัยตัวแปรต่างๆ
พัวพันกันอย่างซับซ้อน และองค์ความรู้แบบวิทยาศาสตร์ก็ต่อเชื่อมภัยพิบัติทางธรรมชาติเข้ากับภาวะโลกร้อน
ซึ่งก็ได้ถูกอธิบายด้วยความรู้ทางวิทยาศาสตร์เช่นเดียวกัน กระทั่งนำไปสู่การแก้ปัญหาด้วยผลผลิต
จากกระบวนการทางวิทยาศาสตร์คือ ผลิตภัณฑ์ทางเทคโนโลยีต่างๆ

ประกันภัยสีเขียว, รถยนต์ไฮบริด, อีโคคาร์, เทคโนโลยีพลังงานทางเลือก ล้วนถูกผลิตขึ้นเพื่อแก้ปัญหาสิ่งแวดล้อม
ทว่าผลิตภัณฑ์เหล่านี้ไม่สามารถแก้ไขปัญหาที่เกิดขึ้นได้ เนื่องจากต้นเหตุของปัญหาทั้งหมดเกิดจากการ
บริโภคอย่างไม่บันยะบันยังของมนุษย์ การผลิตสินค้าที่อ้างว่าจะช่วยแก้ไขปัญหา แท้ที่จริงแล้วกลับส่งเสริม
ลัทธิบริโภคนิยมให้ดำเนินต่อไปอย่างสุดขั้วผู้ที่ได้รับผลประโยชน์ที่สุดจึงไม่พ้นใครอื่นนอกจากกลุ่มทุน
(และรัฐที่พาตัวเองเข้าไปข้องเกี่ยวกับทุน)

ขณะเดียวกันทางด้านรัฐเองก็สามารถเพิ่มอำนาจในการควบคุมชีวิตของประชากร ผ่านมาตรการทางกฎหมาย
และการรณรงค์ต่างๆที่อ้างว่า เพื่อแก้ปัญหาและลดภัยพิบัติอันเกิดจากภาวะโลกร้อน ประชาชนกลายสภาพ
เป็นเพียงสาวก ที่เชื่อฟัง คอยทำตามมาตรการที่รัฐออกมาเช่น ซื้อรถประหยัดพลังงาน, สร้างบ้านประหยัดพลังงาน
หรือ บริโภค / ปฏิบัติอะไรก็แล้วแต่ ที่ดูเหมือนจะช่วยให้หลุดพ้นวิกฤตภัยพิบัติครั้งนี้ โดยไม่สามารถตั้งคำถาม
ได้มากนัก เพราะหากตั้งคำถามหรือไม่ปฏิบัติตาม นอกจากจะละเมิดอำนาจรัฐแล้ว ยังกลายเป็นตราบาป
ที่ขัดต่อสำนึกทางสังคมที่ถูกความจริงและความรู้เกี่ยวกับ ภัยธรรมชาติครอบงำว่า จะหลุดพ้นจากผลกระทบ
และปัญหาเหล่านี้ได้ก็ต้องให้ความร่วมมือตามแนวทาง “มาตรการสีเขียว” ที่รัฐกำหนดไว้
และยังต้องมอบความไว้วางใจต่างๆให้กับรัฐ

Earthquakes: Natural or Man-made?

We bring to the attention of our readers an article on climate manipulation published
in 1999, focusing specifically on the incidence of earthquakes.
While there is no evidence of the application of weather modification techniques
in the case of the Iran Earthquake, it is important to understand that the US not only possesses
the weather modification technologies, it has also confirmed its intent to use them.

to defeat or coerce an adversary... In the United States, weather-modification will likely
become a part of national security policy with both domestic and international applications.
Our government will pursue such a policy, depending on its interests, at various levels."

conducting secret warfare, of which only a bare minimum of the security forces need be appraised... [T]echniques of weather modification could be employed to produce prolonged periods

Weather modification technology is being perfected under the High-frequency Active Auroral
Research Program (HAARP) as part of the ("Star Wars") Strategic Defence Initiative (SDI).
Recent scientific evidence suggests that HAARP is fully operational and has the ability of potentially
triggering floods, droughts, hurricanes and earthquakes. From a military standpoint,
HAARP is a weapon of mass destruction.

Two devastating earth-quakes in the month of September 1999 again focused
the world’s attention on one of nature’s most terrifying and destructive forces.
Earthquakes in Turkey and Taiwan took the lives of thousands and left even more
people homeless and in fear of returning to their devastated communities.
The death and devastation caused by major earthquakes around the world
can only worsen in years to come, as growing urban development and unprecedented
population growth compound the lethal effects of natural and, as some researchers claim,
man-made seismic hazards. With the world’s population estimated to pass the 6 billion
mark this year, there are fewer unpopulated places for quakes to strike. And with ever
more people to accommodate, there is more multistoried construction in vulnerable fault zones.
As a result, destructive earthquakes “are the wave of the future,” seismic expert Kerry Sieh
of the California Institute of Technology says. “There are 40 cities of a million or more people
within 100 kilometres of a major plate boundary, and all those are good candidates for
a large event.”1

What Are Earthquakes?

Natural earthquakes are caused by the movement of tectonic plates over the Earth’s mantle.
Sandwiched between Earth’s crust and molten outer core, the vast mantle accounts for 83 percent
of the planet’s volume. It is filled with solid rock but, heated by the core and by its own
radioactive decay, it circulates like a pot of impenetrable soup. That circulation is the driving force
behind the surface motion of tectonic plates, which builds mountains and causes earthquakes.
The destructive power of an earthquake comes from the momentum gathered
when two opposing “faults” or tectonic plates, that may have been locked together for decades,
suddenly move apart. The result is that solid rock which normally moves only with the passing
of geological ages accelerates briefly to 5,000mph, unleashing huge quantities of energy and
creating a shaking movement of up to a metre a second.
Most people consider earthquakes to be natural in origin, but what if there was
such a thing as man-made earthquakes? Well, there are. There is the official version of
what constitutes a man-made earthquake, and then there is a body of suppressed research pointing
to a more insidious agenda.

Artificially-Induced Earthquakes

Officially, there is such an area of research devoted to man-made earthquakes.
Geologists and seismologists agree that humans can induce earthquakes in five major ways:
fluid injection into the Earth, fluid extraction from the Earth, mining or quarrying, nuclear testing
and through the construction of dams and reservoirs.
In fact, there are officially recorded instances of earthquakes caused by human activity.
Geologists discovered that disposal of waste fluids by means of injecting them deep into
the earth could trigger earthquakes after a series of earthquakes in the Denver area occurred
from 1962-1965; the periods and amounts of injected waste coincided with the frequency and
magnitude of earthquakes in the Denver area. The earthquakes were triggered because the liquid,
which was injected under very high pressure, released stored strain energy in the rocks.2

Man-made earthquakes may seem like something out of the X-Files, and it’s probably only
a matter of time before the idea is picked up by Hollywood. This year, best-selling thriller
author Ken Follett released his latest book, Hammer of Eden, about a terrorist group threatening
to level San Francisco with a man-made earthquake. When asked by Salon Magazine how real is
the idea of a man-made earthquake, Follett replied that “Some of the seismologists told me,
‘There’s no way this could happen.’ But others gave sad little shrugs and said, ‘It’s hard to say.
Who knows? Maybe. It’s within the realm of possibly.’”

Suppressed Research: Tesla Technologies

Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Nicola Tesla is one of this century’s greatest scientists.
A prodigious inventor of electronic devices and pioneer of free energy, Tesla never gained
the recognition he deserved because his scientific breakthroughs were deemed to ‘sensitive’
by the ruling corporate and government powers of the day. Thus much of his research
was suppressed and stolen.
In a book entitled Tesla – The Lost Inventions, a section is titled “Man-Made Earthquake”.
It discloses Tesla’s fascination with the power of resonance and he experimented with it not only
electrically but on the mechanical plane as well. In his Manhattan, USA lab, Tesla built mechanical
vibrators and tested their powers. One experiment got out of hand.
Tesla attached a powerful little vibrator driven by compressed air to a steel pillar.
Leaving it there, he went about his business. Meanwhile, down the street, a violent quaking
built up, shaking down plaster, bursting plumbing, cracking windows, and breaking heavy machinery
off its anchorages.
Tesla’s vibrator had found the resonant frequency of a deep sandy layer of subsoil beneath
his building, setting off a small earthquake. Soon Tesla’s own building began to quake.
It is reported that just as the police broke into his lab, Tesla was seen smashing the device with
a sledge hammer, the only way he could promptly stop it.
In a similar experiment, on an evening walk through the city, Tesla attached a battery powered
vibrator, described as being the size of an alarm clock, to the steel framework of a building under
construction. He adjusted it to a suitable frequency and set the structure into resonant vibration.
The structure shook, and so did the earth under his feet. Tesla later boasted he could
shake down the Empire State Building with such a device. If this claim was not extravagant enough,
he went on to say a large-scale resonant vibration was capable of splitting the earth in half.
An article from the 11 July, 1935 issue of the New York American entitled ‘Tesla’s Controlled
Earthquakes’, stated Tesla’s “experiments in transmitting mechanical vibrations through the earth –
called by him ‘the art of telegeodynamics’ – were roughly described by the scientists as a sort of
controlled earthquake.”

The article quotes Tesla as stating:
The rhythmical vibrations pass through the earth with almost no loss of energy.
It becomes possible to convey mechanical effects to the greatest terrestrial distances and
produce all kinds of unique effects. The invention could be used with destructive effect in war…

Mysterious Lights

Several UFO researchers speculate many UFO sightings might actually be “earthquake lights”
caused by ‘piezoelectric’ phenomena. Piezoelectricity is believed to be caused by crystals found
in certain rocks giving off a flow of electricity when subjected to high pressure, as in an earthquake.
Lights leaping away from mountain peaks have been seen and recorded since ancient times.
Reports coming out of Turkey during the recent 17 August earthquake mention mysterious
lights over the west of the country. The following intriguing eyewitness report was forwarded
to Mutual UFO Network Eastern USA from Turkey:
They are incredibly clear, circular or triangular in shape, white, yellow, red and blue coloured,
remain visible in the sky for 5 to 20 minutes, following a materialising-dematerialising pattern.
The funny thing is it became a routine thing as they have been showing up two or three times a week.
They became an inevitable component of the TV news and media. Furthermore, just before the quake,
the bottom of the sea in Izmit went red and the sea temperature went up to 40-45 degrees C.
However, there are no underwater volcanos in the Sea of Marmara!
Starting two days before the quake, hundreds of fish, crabs and other sea life forms died and
not naturally! Somehow, they were burned! The fish nets of the fishermen were burned and
we have several rock and stone samples from the sea, which went black in colour.
TUVPO (Turkish UFO and Paranormal Organisation) is cooperating with the Smithsonian Institute
and a few universities in the US. We already sent them some rock and burned fishnet samples,
upon their request. Folks at TUVPO will hopefully run a spectrum analysis on the video tapes.
Some fishermen are also saying that they witnessed an explosion under the sea. Fireballs,
strange lights, sightings never ended in Turkey.3

Compare this information with what happened in the destructive 1977 earthquake
that hit China. The 5 June, 1977 New York Times described the great earthquake which destroyed
Tangshan, China on July 28, 1976, killing over 650,000 people:
Just before the first tremor at 3:42 am, the sky lit up like daylight. The multi-hued lights,
mainly white and red, were seen up to 200 miles away. Leaves on many trees were burned to
a crisp and growing vegetables were scorched on one side, as if by a fireball.

Tesla Effect

Some investigators believe these electrical effects were associated with
electromagnetic plasma and ball lightning and the strange array of flashes that result
from Tesla-style technology. Was this brilliant flash of coloured light what Tesla
talked about in 1935 when he mentioned “all kinds of unique effects”?
Was this earthquake an early test of the system, conducted on the unsuspecting
people of China? It certainly does not appear it was a natural earthquake.
Was the same technology tried out on Turkey?
Andrija Puharich, MD, LL.D. in January 1978, issued a detailed research paper titled,
“Global Magnetic Warfare – A Layman’s View of Certain Artificially Induced Unusual Effects
on the Planet Earth During 1976 and 1977”. He was primarily looking into Soviet experiments
with Tesla technology and believed controlled earthquakes were part and parcel of that work.
Of them he wrote: “Of the many great earthquakes of 1976, there is one that demands
special attention – the July 28, 1976 Tangshan, China earthquake.”
The January 1978 edition of Specula magazine ran an article describing an incredibly
profound phenomenon that could be produced within the Earth by what is called the ‘Tesla Effect.’
According to the article, electromagnetic signals of certain frequencies can be transmitted
through the Earth to form standing waves in the Earth itself. In certain cases, coherence to
this standing wave can be induced wherein a fraction of the vast, surging electromagnetic current
of the Earth itself feeds into and augments the induced standing wave. In other words,
“much more energy is now present in the standing wave than the ...amount being fed in from
the Earth’s surface.” By interferometer techniques, giant standing waves can be combined
to produce a focused beam of very great energy. This can then be used to produce earthquakes
induced at distant aiming points.
Tesla expressed grave concerns about the effects of this technology because it is exactly
the type of thing that could easily get out of control once it begins vibrating within the Earth –
and it could actually cause the Earth to vibrate to pieces. Could the use of this technique
have been responsible for the great earthquake in Tangshan, China in 1976?
Another leading Tesla researcher and nuclear engineer, Lt. Col. Thomas Bearden,
lecturing at a Symposium of the US Psychotronics Association (USPA) in 1981 stated:
Tesla found that he could set up standing waves… in the earth (the molten core),
or, just set it up through the rocks – the telluric activity in the rocks would furnish activity
into these waves and one would get more potential energy in those waves than he put in.
He called the concept the Tesla Magnifying Transmitter (TMT).

Bearden goes on to explain how TMTs worked:
Theywill go through anything. What you do is that you set up a standing wave
through the earth and the molten core of the earth begins to feed that wave
(we are talking Tesla now). When you have that standing wave, you have set up a triode.
What you’ve done is that the molten core of the earth is feeding the energy and it’s like
your signal – that you are putting in – is gating the grid of a triode… Then what you do is
that you change the frequency. If you change the frequency one way (start to dephase it),
you dump the energy up in the atmosphere beyond the point on the other side of the earth
that you focused upon. You start ionising the air, you can change the weather flow patterns
(jet streams etc) – you can change all that – if you dump it gradually, real gradually –
you influence the heck out of the weather. It’s a great weather machine. If you dump it sharply,
you don’t get little ionisation like that. You will get flashes and fireballs (plasma)
that will come down on the surfaces of the earth… you can cause enormous weather changes
over entire regions by playing that thing back and forth.

HAARP: The Pentagon’s Ultimate Weapon

In an Arctic compound 450 kilometres east of Anchorage, Alaska, the Pentagon
has erected a powerful transmitter designed to beam more than a gigawatt of energy
into the upper reaches of the atmosphere. Known as Project HAARP
(High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program), the $30 million experiment involves
the world’s largest “ionospheric heater,” a prototype device designed to zap the skies
hundreds of kilometres above the earth with high-frequency radio waves.

Why irradiate the charged particles of the ionosphere (which when energised by
natural processes make up the lovely and famous phenomenon known as the Northern Lights)?
According to the US Navy and Air Force, co-sponsors of the project, “to observe the complex
natural variations of Alaska’s ionosphere.” As well, admit the Pentagon, to develop new forms
of communications and surveillance technologies to enable the military to send signals to
nuclear submarines and to peer deep underground.

Ever since the existence of HAARP became public, a number of independent researchers
have warned the operation has a secret agenda including weather modification, mind control,
hi-tech military experiments, and the triggering of earthquakes. Alarmingly,
HAARP technology appears well suited to enforce a host of the oppressive goals and
agendas of the New World Order.

HAARP transmissions may also be used for the detection and monitoring of electromagnetic
or “plasma” phenomena, precursors of seismic activity and tectonic movement. Researchers believe
HAARP transmissions are actually being used to activate or trigger exactly the same electromagnetic
conditions that can cause tectonic movement.
Jerry Smith in his book HAARP: The Ultimate Weapon of the Conspiracy,
warns many atmospheric scientists working on the secretive military project might be unaware
of HAARP’s grave potential to wreak havoc on the earth. He writes:

If HAARP is a TMT [Tesla Magnifying Transmitter], and these researchers correctly
understand Tesla’s work, we could be in a lot of trouble. It is quite possible that the scientists
working on HAARP do not know that they are playing with… Beyond that their ignorance
might be compounded if HAARP is indeed a secretive black-ops military project.
The military has devised a way of keeping secrets called ‘compartmentalisation’
where each unit knows only what it needs to know… Only the control group knows
what’s going on… If there is a control group familiar with TMTs directing the actions of
scientists unschooled in Tesla technology, those lower level operatives could be
directed to wreak havoc with created weather or manufactured earthquakes….

Vast Amounts of Energy

In 1966, Professor Gordon J. F. MacDonald was associate director of the Institute
of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at the University of California, Los Angeles,
a member of the US President’s Science Advisory Committee, and later a member of
the US President’s Council on Environmental Quality.
He published papers on the use of environmental-control technologies for
military purposes. MacDonald made a revealing comment: “The key to geophysical warfare
is the identification of environmental instabilities to which the addition of a small amount
of energy would release vastly greater amounts of energy. “

World-renowned scientist MacDonald developed ideas for using the environment
as a weapon system and he contributed to what was, at the time, only in the wildest dream of
a futurist. When he wrote his chapter, “How To Wreck The Environment,” for the book
Unless Peace Comes, he was not kidding around. In it he describes the use of weather manipulation,
climate modification, polar ice cap melting or destabilisation, ozone depletion techniques,
earthquake engineering, ocean wave control and brain wave manipulation using
the planet’s energy fields. He speculated these types of weapons would be developed and,
when used, would be virtually undetectable by their victims. Is HAARP one such weapon?

Cohen’s Admission

In 1997 the US Secretary of Defense, William Cohen, delivered a speech on terrorism
at the University of Georgia. Reuters quoted him as saying, “Precautions against
unconventional arms must be intensified as potential terrorists develop chemical and
biological weapons and electromagnetic methods that could create holes in the ozone layer
or trigger earthquakes or volcanoes.”

Cohen’s admission reveals he has direct knowledge of such potential weapons.
But it’s hard to conceive of “terrorists developing the capacity to “trigger earthquakes”.
Hardly, when one considers the Pentagon’s HAARP project. A more likely explanation
is that Cohen was warning against allowing such technology to spread to other countries.

Outback Mystery

The weapons used in World War III will make the atomic and hydrogen bombs
look like toys. At present, the centerpiece of the Russian arsenal is called
the star-reflector cannon. The United States has the Strategic Defense Initiative,
and the extension of this is ‘microplasma.’

A mysterious incident in the outback of Western Australia, reported in New Dawn
No. 41 (March-April 1997), directly relates to the subject of man-made earthquakes.
Late on the evening of May 28, 1993, something radiated shock waves outward
across hundreds of miles of scrub and desert. Around the same time, truck drivers crossing
the region and gold prospectors camping nearby saw the dark sky illuminated by bright flashes,
and they as well as other people heard the distant rumble of loud explosions.

The mysterious event might have been lost to history except for the interest of
investigators in Australia and the United States, who eventually came to speculate
if the upheaval was the work of the Japanese Aum Shinrikyo group accused of the poison-gas
attack on Tokyo subways in 1995. At the time Aum had set up an advanced laboratory on
a 500,000-acre property near the puzzling upheaval.

The disturbance shook the earth on May 28, 1993, but it was not until after
the Tokyo attack of March 1995, that an Australian geologist, Harry Mason,
brought the seismic upset to the attention of Australian Federal Police and later to
US investigators.
Seismic observatories in Australia tracked the event to a location 28.47 degrees
south latitude, 121.73 degrees east longitude, a remote area near the group’s property.
Mason’s 19-page report summarised interviews he had conducted with people
who were in the remote area on that clear moonless night. They saw the sky ablaze,
heard loud explosions and felt the ground shake, in one case knocking beer cans off a table.
Mason noted that earthquakes were very rare in the region and that mining explosions
were illegal at night.
Mason now believes the explosion was caused by “a very advanced
electromagnetic weapons system.” He also thinks that the red dome witnessed on the night
of 28 May, 1993 was a Tesla Shield, a device that theoretically can disable nuclear weapons.

Eventually, the US-based Incorporated Research Institutions for Seismology (IRIS)
calculated the event was 170 times bigger than the largest mining explosion ever recorded
in the Australian region, thus ruling out that possibility. The disturbance was calculated
as having the force of a small nuclear explosion, perhaps equal to up to 2,000 tons of high explosives.
But the signature of the disturbance seemed to be more that of an earthquake than a nuclear explosion.

No mention of the seismic riddle was made in well-publicised hearings the US Senator Nunn
ran in late 1995 on Aum Shinrikyo. On 15 December, 1995, Nunn wrote to IRIS, stating that
their scientific work helped Senate investigators “rule out certain terrorist activities.”
Still, one remote possibility remained. Aum Shinrikyo had apparently studied seismic warfare
and the means of artificially triggering earthquakes.
The group apparently sent a party of its own top scientists to the former Yugoslavia
to study the work of Nicola Tesla. At the Tesla Museum in Belgrade, the members reviewed
Tesla’s thesis and other research papers discussing such weapons.

In New Dawn No. 39, a report on the work of Aum Shinrikyo’s Science and
Technology Minister, Hideo Murai, revealed that the group was interested in advanced weapons,
including “laser-powered seismic weapons.” On 7 April, 1995 Murai responded in a press conference
to a question about a rumoured ‘earthquake machine’. He remarked there was a strong possibility
the Kobe earthquake was activated using “electromagnetic power,” or that somebody
used a device that “applied force inside the earth.”

Shortly after this press conference, a lone assassin stabbed Hideo Murai to death
in full view of the Japanese media. Was Murai murdered to silence him?
He was one of Aum’s most visible figures with fluent English and a pleasant demeanour
that made him an international spokesman.

An Aum Shinrikyo book, Disaster Approaches the Land of the Rising Sun,
devotes considerable space on how to guard against radiation, electromagnetic pulses,
biological and chemical weapons, as well as more exotic laser, microwave and plasma weaponry.

It can be assumed the Aum Shinrikyo group actively researched and even possibly tested
advanced weapons from a defensive point of view. Aum leaders were convinced
the United States had already used such weapons against their personnel and property,
and this may have driven the group’s leaders into a paranoid frame of mind.

Future War

Often we are told technological research in the military field is ten or more years
ahead of what we see today. Frightening and controversial projects like HAARP,
with applications ranging from superbeam weapon to worldwide mind control,
should be of great concern to us all. And most worrying is mounting evidence that
the US military now has the ability to create earthquakes – the ultimate weapon of war.

Could the recent earthquakes in Turkey, Tiawan, Greece and Mexico be experimental test runs?
If so, how many more earthquakes will it take before this technology can be
directed at a chosen ‘enemy’? It’s a disturbing thought and one we all should consider as
the forces of the New World Order gather pace in their quest for global control.

By Spring 2004, an invasive mind control technology known as a "Frequency Fence"
is slated for implementation onto global society. This Frequency Fence is a bio-neurological,
electromagnetic induced form of mind control which will block your higher sensory abilities.
A literal "perceptual harness" or "mental prison" will be built around you without you
even knowing it is happening, and the scariest part is, your five senses will not alert to you
that anything is wrong.

All electrical power generating stations, and the appliances that draw power from them
will be utilized as a carrier for this electromagnetic distortion. The human body has
a natural immunity against such invasion, which the instigators of this technology
will repress by introducing a certain organic, elemental compound into the world's water supply,
and by transmitting specific wave spectrums of light directly into the human optical faculties.
Technologies such as broadcast television, and the internet, will be utilized to transmit
the specific wave spectrums of light.

Further invasive programming will be subliminally carried through all radio broadcasts,
and through the cellular and digital telephone network of towers worldwide.
This will serve to enhance this bio-neurological invasion even further. After 6 years,
this Frequency Fence will cause a genetic mutation to manifest in the collective
human gene pool which will be passed down through pro-creation,
thereby permanently scarring humanity.

There is no known technological defense against this invasion and
there will be no place to hide. This technology will block your higher sensory abilities
which will serve to limit your human potential. The blockage of human intuition or
your "gut instinct" will be just one of many natural abilities which will be impeded.
Another will be your ability to commune with your "Higher Self" or God,
systematically cutting you off from your God Source. This is a system that is
so insidious that even the elite will be deceived even though some components
of this global mind control system are being created by that very elite Another aspect
of this bio-neurological invasion will be the creation and implementation of
"Holographic Inserts" by 2006. It involves a technology so advanced that
three-dimensional reality can be artificially manufactured and inserted right
over your present reality scene in a seamless fashion so you will be unable
to determine where organic reality ends, and manipulated, artificial reality begins.
This could be compared to the "holo-deck" on the popular television series,
Star Trek - The Next Generation, only in this case itนs not science fiction.

The plot thickens, in that the instigators of this coming bio-neurological manipulation
are counting on you to not even believe in their existence. They are depending on you
to have a kind of mentality which suggests that what you can not see or perceive with
your five senses does not exist, and therefore cannot affect you. If you do not know
an enemy exists, you will not take measures to protect yourself from it. The reality of
the situation is quite the opposite.These forces presently poised against you posses
a level of technology which surpasses present earth science. Their bio-neurological
invasion can definitely affect you and hinder your evolution as a species in more ways than
you can presently comprehend, making them an absolute threat to your over all well being.

These covert sinister forces are "master geneticists" who are partially human,
partially non-human, and extraterrestrial (ET). Some are genetic half breeds that appear
fully human in appearance but in reality are human hybrids of ET origin. If your present
belief system limits your ability to accept the possibility of beings from other worlds,
simply replace ET with the term demon. Because in all right, what these beings intend
to do is nothing less than demonic in the truest sense.

Through the "human elite" these ET Intruders dominate and control society
through such organizations as the Illuminati, Council on Foreign Relations,
and the United Nations, to name just a few. These negative factions are largely
responsible for the present manipulations humanity is living under.
This includes the present "police state" which has been accelerated to deal with
the human resistance factor. It also includes most of the government and
quasi-government agencies created in the 20th century.

If you ever wondered how our country, and ultimately our world society became
the way it is, all you have to do is look to the ET Intruders who have been playing
humanity against itself for countless generations. By keeping humanity divided,
it has less time and inclination to notice who the real manipulators are. As long as
we are kept busy and economically enslaved, the majority of humanity will not take
notice of whatนs really important.

What is really important now is understanding as much of the big picture that is possible.
This way you can begin to protect yourself from the coming deceptions which are slated
to begin in 2004. There is still time for you to intervene on your own behalf and literally make
yourself immune to the coming Frequency Fence and Holographic Inserts. There is no known
external technological defense, but there is a way that you can accelerate a natural process
within your present genetic code so when the bio-neurological manipulations begin,
they will not affect you. We posses the most powerful protective "weapon" of all
the human mind/body/spirit organism. We simply need to learn how to use it properly.

The human DNA has a 12 strand potential. Most humans only have strands
1, 2 and 3 fully activated, and strand 4 partially assembled but not yet activated.
In order to make yourself "invisible" to the coming bio-neurological invasion,
you must have a minimum of 4 strands fully activated, and strand 5 at least half assembled.
This will require a certain level of interpersonal development and acceleration on your part.

There are steps you can take to accelerate the growth of your DNA strands.
If you have not already done so, work towards strengthening your personal
relationship with God, or your "Higher Power." Refuse to accept victim consciousness,
or ideologies which promote a sense of personal dis-empowerment. Work to develop
your hidden potentials and higher abilities. Take time to examine your personal beliefs
about reality. Realize that thoughts are things, literally. Negative thoughts help to
generate negative realities. Rigid, dogmatic, fearful, closed-minded beliefs become
literal electromagnetic blockages. Learn to think for yourself rather than give your power
away to authority figures without question.

Strengthen your mind and exercise your mental muscles. Begin using "mind technologies"
that work to enhance mental and emotional development. Some helpful techniques
are meditation, and the use of affirmations, visualizations, self-hypnosis, bio-feedback,
and dream reprogramming. All of these activities will help you to strengthen your mind
and help you to call your higher potentials into use.

Strengthen your body with exercise and/or yoga. A diet containing less chemical additives,
red meats, caffeine, drugs, alcohol, salt, sugar and artificial sweeteners will help immensely.
Also try to avoid irradiated and over processed foods. The body is also strengthened
by conscious breathing and controlled breath exercises.

Learn to heal your past. Holding grudges and resentment against others will only serve
to limit your higher development. Work to heal your emotions. Contemporary emotional
clearing work can facilitate the releasing of blocked energy centers in the physical body
which can serve to rapidly accelerate DNA strand development. Seriously reevaluate
your personal ideas about the issue of ET visitation and support those who are petitioning
for the government to release data on UFO activity. Realize that much information regarding
these subjects has been purposely withheld from the public for reasons of national security.
This knowledge now freely circulates within unofficial networks. If you seek out
this information you'll find an overwhelming body of knowledge which supports
the premise of an active ET visitation scenario.

Seek to empower yourself through "leading edge" knowledge, for this will be
your greatest asset in this coming confrontation. Use it wisely and share it with others
so that a critical mass can be achieved before 2004. If at least 8% of the global population
is able to embody 4.5 strands or higher within their operational DNA code,
the Frequency Fence and Holographic Insert Technology will be disabled globally,
and the Intruder ET's bio-neurological manipulations will fail.

In order to achieve this 8% goal, everyone who has the calling must work rapidly to
embody as many of the aforementioned techniques, or other personal practices
which they feel can assist DNA strand development, into their daily practice.
The ET Intruders are convinced that collective humanity will not rise to this occasion
and succeed in achieving this 8% critical mass by 2004.

The American Revolution was fought and won by a small minority of patriots
who were willing to stand for what they believed in and through this conviction
advanced technology on their side, but they are petrified of the awesome power
of the human spirit. This is the very reason why they wish to block our connection to God,
because this is where we draw our greatest power from.

Many of you have already taken steps in reclaiming your personal sovereignty
by refusing to accept so-called government benefits in place of God-given rights,
and through the process of Redemption. The next level of your awakening is to take
the necessary steps to ensure that your spiritual sovereignty is not stolen away from you.

Boeing tests airborne laser gun

RIA Novosti (RIA Novosti) - The Boeing Company said
it has fired a high-energy chemical laser aboard a C-130H aircraft in ground tests for the first time.
The successful ground tests, "a key milestone for the Advanced Tactical Laser (ATL)
Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration program," took place on May 13 at Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M.
"First firing of the high-energy laser aboard the ATL aircraft shows that the program
continues to make good progress toward giving the warfighter an ultra-precision engagement capability
that will dramatically reduce collateral damage," said Scott Fancher, vice president and general manager
of Boeing Missile Defense Systems. After conducting a series of additional laser tests
on the ground and in the air, the company said the program will "fire the chemical laser in-flight
at mission-representative ground targets." The test team will fire the laser through a rotating turret
that extends through the aircraft's belly. "Later this year, we will fire the laser in-flight
at ground targets, demonstrating the military utility of this transformational directed energy weapon,"
Fancher said. Last year, the laser was fired more than 50 times during lab tests at Kirtland.
ATL, which Boeing is developing for the U.S. Department of Defense, "will destroy, damage
or disable targets with little to no collateral damage, supporting missions on the battlefield
and in urban operations."

MIND CONTROL WITH SILENT SOUNDS AND SUPER COMPUTERS

The mind-altering mechanism is based on a subliminal carrier technology:
the Silent Sound Spread Spectrum (SSSS), sometimes called "S-quad" or "Squad".
It was developed by Dr Oliver Lowery of Norcross, Georgia, and is described in
US Patent #5,159,703, "Silent Subliminal Presentation System", dated October 27, 1992.
The abstract for the patent reads:

"A silent communications system in which nonaural carriers, in the very low or very high
audio-frequency range or in the adjacent ultrasonic frequency spectrum are amplitude-
or frequency-modulated with the desired intelligence and propagated acoustically
or vibrationally, for inducement into the brain, typically through the use of loudspeakers,
earphones, or piezoelectric transducers. The modulated carriers may be transmitted
directly in real time or may be conveniently recorded and stored on mechanical, magnetic,
or optical media for delayed or repeated transmission to the listener."

According to literature by Silent Sounds, Inc., it is now possible,
using supercomputers, to analyse human emotional EEG patterns and
replicate them, then store these "emotion signature clusters"
on another computer and, at will, "silently induce
and change the emotional state in a human being".

Silent Sounds, Inc. states that it is interested only in positive emotions,
but the military is not so limited. That this is a US Department of Defense project is obvious.

Edward Tilton, President of Silent Sounds, Inc., says this about S-quad
in a letter dated December 13, 1996:

"All schematics, however, have been classified by the US Government
and we are not allowed to reveal the exact details... ... we make tapes and CDs
for the German Government, even the former Soviet Union countries!
All with the permission of the US State Department, of course...
The system was used throughout Operation Desert Storm
(Iraq) quite successfully."

The graphic illustration, "Induced Alpha to Theta Biofeedback Cluster
Movement", which accompanies the literature, is labelled #AB 116-394-95 UNCLASSIFIED"
and is an output from "the world's most versatile and most sensitive electroencephalograph
(EEG) machine". It has a gain capability of 200,000, as compared to other EEG machines in use
which have gain capability of approximately 50,000. It is software-driven by
the "fastest of computers" using a noisenulling technology similar to that used by
nuclear submarines for detecting small objects underwater at extreme range.

The purpose of all this high technology is to plot and display a moving cluster of
periodic brainwave signals. The illustration shows an EEG display from a single individual,
taken of left and right hemispheres simultaneously. Ile readout from the two sides of
the brain appear to be quite different, but in fact are the same
(discounting normal leftright brain variations).

CLONING THE EMOTIONS

By using these computer-enhanced EEGs, scientists can identify and isolate
the brain's low-amplitude "emotion signature clusters", synthesise them and
store them on another computer. In other words, by studying the subtle characteristic
brainwave patterns that occur when a subject experiences a particular emotion,
scientists have been able to identify the concomitant brainwave pattern and
can now duplicate it. "These clusters are then placed on the Silent Soundฎ carrier frequencies
and will silently trigger the occurrence of the same basic emotion in another human being!"

SYSTEM DELIVERY AND APPLICATIONS

There is a lot more involved here than a simple subliminal sound system.
There are numerous patented technologies which can be piggybacked individually
or collectively onto a carrier frequency to elicit all kinds of effects.

There appear to be two methods of delivery with the system. One is direct microwave
induction into the brain of the subject, limited to short-range operations.
The other, as described above, utilises ordinary radio and television carrier frequencies.

Far from necessarily being used as a weapon against a person, the system does have
limitless positive applications. However, the fact that the sounds are subliminal
makes them virtually undetectable and possibly dangerous to the general public.

In more conventional use, the Silent Sounds Subliminal System
might utilise voice commands, e.g., as an adjunct to security systems.
Beneath the musical broadcast that you hear in stores and shopping malls
may be a hidden message which exhorts against shoplifting. And while
voice commands alone are powerful, when the subliminal presentation system
carries cloned emotional signatures, the result is overwhelming.

Free-market uses for this technology are the common self-help tapes;
positive affirmation, relaxation and meditation tapes; as well as methods
to increase learning capabilities.

In a medical context, these systems can be used to great advantage to treat psychiatric
and psychosomatic problems. As a system for remediating the profoundly deaf,
it is unequalled. (Promises, promises.This is the most common positive use touted
for this technology over the past 30 years. But the deaf are still deaf,
and the military now has a weapon to use on unsuspecting people
with perfectly normal hearing.)

KGB PSYCHOTRONICS

This technology did not spring up overnight. It has a long history of development
and denials of development-by the US Government and probably half of
the other governments of the world as well.

We know that the former Soviet Union was actively engaged in this type of research.
In a previous article we reported that during the 1970s the Soviet KGB
developed a Psychotronic Influence System (PIS) that was used
to turn soldiers into programmable 'human weapons'.
The system employed a combination of highfrequency radiowaves
and hypnosis. The PIS project was begun in response to a similar training scheme
launched in the US by President Carter, according to Yuri Malin, former security adviser
to USSR President Gorbachev.

INTERNATIONAL CONCERNS OVER NEW WEAPONS

The United Nations was established in 1945 with the aim of "saving succeeding
generations from the scourge of war". In 1975 the General Assembly considered
a draft first proposed by the Soviet Union: "Prohibition of the Development and
Manufacture of New Types of Weapons of Mass Destruction and New Systems
of Such Weapons".

In 1979 the Soviet Union added a list of some types of potential weapons of mass destruction:

1) Radiological weapons (using radioactive materials) which could produce harmful effects
similar to those of a nuclear explosion;

2) Particle beam weapons, based on charged or neutral particles, to affect biological targets;

3) Infrasonic acoustic radiation weapons;

4) Electromagnetic weapons operating at certain radio-frequency radiations
which could have injurious effects on human organs.

In response, the US and other Western nations stalled. They gave a long,
convoluted reason, but the result was the same.

In an article entitled "Non-Lethal Weapons May Violate Treaties", the author notes that
the Certain Conventional Weapons Convention covers many of the non-conventional weapons;
"those that utilize infrasound or electromagnetic energy
(including lasers, microwave or radiofrequency radiation,
or visible light pulsed at brainwave frequency) for their effects."

Harlan Girard, Managing Director of the International Committee Against Offensive
Microwave Weapons, told me he believes the strategy behind the government's
recent push for less-than-lethal weapons is a subterfuge. The ones that are now
getting all the publicity are put up for scrutiny to get the public's approval.
The electromagnetic mind-altering technologies are not mentioned, but would be brought
in later under the umbrella of less-than- lethal weapons.

These weapons were recently transferred from the Department of Defense over to
the Department of Justice. Why? Because there are several international treaties that
specifically limit or exclude weapons of this nature from being used in international warfare.

In other words, weapons that are barred from use against our country's
worst enemies (not withstanding the fact that the US did use
this weapon against Iraqi troops!)
can now be used against our own citizens by the local police departments against
such groups as peaceful protestors of US nuclear policies.
